Heavy Duty. – Bellemain’s Heavy Duty Aluminum Half Sheet Pan, 18″ x 13″ x 1″.

I do a lot of cooking, and use my baking sheets all of the time. I absolutely love my new addition from Bellemain. It is definitely durable. Today we used it as a tray to pound my son’s National Geographic Gemstone excavation kit, lol. It worked great. Since it has the 1” depth to it, the pieces of dirt didn’t fly off for the most part. This is a half sheet pan. It measures out at 18” long x 13“ wide, and 1” deep. It is an aluminum pan, and heavy duty. It is quite thick. There is no bendiness to this pan at all. It has a reinforced, encapsulated steel rim, which makes sure of this. This pan has great heat conductivity, and unless your oven has real hot spots, should do even cooking for you. I get even cooking in our oven with this pan. I do a lot of baking, and this is a great pan for that as well. Your cookies will come out yummy cooked on this one. It is a pretty solid. You can carry all your food out for grilling on this pan as well. You can hold it only by one end, and it doesn’t bend at all. It really is a great, well rounded, and multi-use pan. We’ll even be making our homemade pizzas on this one.

Organic goodness. – Superfood Harvest’s Organic Turmeric Root Ground Powder.

Turmeric is part of my daily life, and it has been for over a year now. I just love it. It is definitely more than just a yummy spice for foods. Turmeric can be eyed as a Superfood, a supplement, a yummy additive to your recipe. It’s just one of those great all natural products. This Turmeric from Superfood Harvest is just wonderful. It is a Non GMO product, which is highly important to me! It is an organic product as well. Another very important feature I look for. This is a Turmeric root ground powder. It is a fine ground and a pleasure to work with. You could make your own capsules with it as well. We make a great homemade toothpaste now and then with organic Turmeric. We made a couple batches with this one. It’s so easy to do. It is not only great for your gums and teeth, but it actually helps whiten them naturally. Just take this Organic Turmeric powder, some organic coconut oil, and then peppermint essential oil to taste It helps improve the taste as well as being beneficial to your mouth as well. Then you just brush, brush, brush with it, and hold it in your mouth for a few minutes if you want to. Turmeric has great anti-inflammatory properties to it, which is great for the gums. That is why I take it in capsule form as well. Doctors state that Turmeric boosts cognitive development, is healthy for your skin, supports a more positive mood, and a natural way to help boost your metabolism. They state it also helps to naturally detoxify your liver as well. Inflammation is the root of a lot of diseases. I have constant anaphylactic reactions, and I used to live on ibuprofen. I take approx.. three supplements, which includes the Turmeric. I almost never take Ibuprofen anymore. That means so much to me. There is also a drink called Magic Milk, that Turmeric is famous for. It is supposed to help boost the immune system. Here is the recipe for that:

Ingredients

1 cup organic milk

1/2 tsp black pepper powder (optional)

1 tsp turmeric powder

Organic raw honey to taste

Preparation:

2.In a vessel add milk, pepper, turmeric powder, honey or sugar, and allow it to boil on a medium heat.

3.After 5 minutes, the milk would have thickened a bit or reduced, then remove and drink.

Recipes including this wonderful spice are easy to find on the internet nowadays as well. This is a great overall product. It has so many positive uses. The quality is wonderful. They also state they do not irradiate their spice. I honestly never knew that was done. It turns out some companies irradiate their spices to have them last longer. I am very comfortable using this Turmeric powder as well as feed it to my own family. It’s really a great product.

I love cooking, especially baking. I find people either love to bake or they hate to bake, lol. Since I am plagued with an intense amount of life threatening food allergies, I am so glad I enjoy cooking. Chocolate, on the other hand, is an issue for me. I find that a lot of chocolate either is made with Vanillin, which I am allergic to, or processed where nuts are handled. I have had my throat shut under those circumstances too. So, I am beyond thrilled with these Non-GMO semisweet chocolate baking wafers. They are organic, and 66% Cacao. You get 2 sealed 12oz packages in your order. This chocolate is amazing. It is amazing to taste, and to work with. Even when I think I am buying a great quality chocolate, I find that it is hard to actually work with. It burns too easily, and doesn’t act like it should. I love the organic goodness of this chocolate. It melts into a creamy dream of goodness, just like it should. You definitely get what you pay for. It acts and tastes like it should, and you don’t have to second guess the actual ingredients in the product, or how it was processed. Companies do not have to list the ingredients your food was processed with. That is scary to me, and it is a lot of what I am deadly allergic to. The ingredients in these wafers are: Cacao Beans, Evaporated Cane Syrup, Cocoa Butter, and Soya Lecithin. This chocolate was processed on equipment where milk chocolate was made. That is it for the allergen warning. I love that! I made some very gooey and yummy brownies with my first batch of organic semisweet chocolate wafers. It’s a dream to cook with, as well as to eat it as is, lol. My chocolate arrived well sealed and packaged. Very professionally done. It is also a Fair Trade product, which I know a lot of people love. The chocolate melted perfectly. The taste is pure, and delicious. I really can’t express enough how wonderful this product is. It is everything I have been looking for, for a long time now. No nut or vanillin worries with this product. It’s healthy for you too! I whole heartedly recommend this product.

A summer of fun with Rose Kuli’s 12+1 Stainless Steel Ball Bearings Fishing Spinning Reel.

It’s almost warm enough for us to start back pier fishing. We really want to teach our 8 year old this year. He has been, but it’s time to really do. This reel is being set up for him. It is a very smooth reel to operate, which is key. We are very happy with this Rose Kuli reel. It is a 12 +1 ball bearing reel. You can use it for both freshwater, and saltwater fishing. Some of the features on this real are: Instant Anti-Reverse, 5.2:3 Gear Ratio, Power Drive Gear equipped, and an S Curved Oscillation System. All types of technical jargon there, lol. The handle has a button on the underside, just push it in, and the handle collapses flat. A great feature for storage and traveling. It can also be changed easily from the left to the right side. We mainly use braided line, which works great on this real. You can fit approx. 100-150 feet of line on here depending on the weight of the line. The body of the reel was made out of graphite. It has a machine cut brass pinion gear. I like the weight of the reel, as well as the “thumb/finger” grip. It is wide, and easy to use. My son is doing well with it. He has been walking around playing with it, getting used to it. It’s a great way for a child to become really comfortable and familiar with a new hobby and the equipment. The motor is computer balanced, and you can tell. It really is a well weighted, and smooth operating reel. The only part of the reel that was a little tight at first was the bale. But with a little use, it loosened up. We are really looking forward to a season of use with it. It has already put up with my son’s wear and tear, and it’s still running smoothly.

I have to be honest, it has never occurred to me to look for a grouping of ties to order. I didn’t even know that was out there, lol. Perfect for entertaining. – GreatEast’s Bordeaux Wine Rack 3 Bottle Black.

I am really fond of this wine rack. It is a tabletop/countertop size, which is perfect. It’s nice to have a few bottles out for display. It’s also easier to remember what you have left this way too, lol. What I found was that some of our liquor bottles also fit on this stand. We have a really pretty Vodka bottle, and fits in this stand perfectly. You can make this stand a mini bar while entertaining, because of this. The quality of this stand is top notch. It is made out of solid steel with a black powdered finish. The welds were done well, and should last your lifetime. It is solid, not bendy or flimsy at all. It does indeed hold three bottles well. I love the design. The scroll work is so pretty, and the top is curved up, and is actually a handle. When your bottles sit in here, the liquid flows down to the cork, so it won’t dry out. I think the four ball feet are a nice touch. Size wise, it is very compact without sacrificing style: 10 ¼” wide x 9 ½” tall x just under 7 ½” deep. Even if you bump into it, it won’t knock your bottles out. I really can’t say enough about it. I really do love everything about it.

The best wine glass ever! – The Lone Star Store’s Good Day – Bad Day – Do NOT Ask – Shatterproof – Wine Glass.

I absolutely love this glass. I try to be a positive person, and I don’t label my days as bad days on purpose, but even if I have a fantastic day, this glass will just make it better. Something about it just makes me smile! I love the non-breakable Tritan glasses, like this one. I am not new to them at all. Most of the name brand sports bottles are made out of Tritan material as well. I am famous in my home for breaking glass wine glasses. Not when I’m drinking out of one, but when I wash them. I have no worries about that with this glass. It arrives in a basic brown box. Not really a “Gift Box”, like they stated in their ad, lol. But, it is easily wrapped because of the box it arrives in. So, I actually really like that. This is just like a regular wine glass. The shape is elegant, and it holds like a stemmed glass. But, since they are not real glass, this one is perfect for outside as well. You can use this poolside, patios, picnics, traveling in a RV, and more. This glass is 12oz. There are three markings on it: Good Day, Bad Day, and Do Not Ask!. We all know we are filling it to the top line, which is the Do Not Ask! line. I have a glass similar to this, but stemless. My 21 year old son loves it and immediately stole it from me. He drinks everything out of it but his coffee. My husband took one look at this glass and laughed. He says my son is going to steal this one too. This may be a hazard at your home too. It’s a glass that everyone ends up loving. It’s fun. This glass even fits into my wine glass lawn stakes I have. Since they are just like a wine glass, it fits perfectly. But, I have the added safety of the Tritan security. I can drop it in my sink, or on the ground, and it doesn’t crack at all. I am not new to grill mats. I am using a couple as stove liners as we speak, lol. It’s true though. I love these things. They are so useful, and in other ways besides grilling. This set of 2 from LoveU. on Amazon, meets my high expectations as well. I hate when I really like a product, and then you order a different brand, only to have your heart crushed. Well, not with this brand. They are a great quality and size. Each mat measures in at 20 inches x 13 inches. These mats are slick to the touch and are 0.23mm thick. These mats are made out of a 100% Food Grade Material, and are FDA and LFGB approved. They are non-toxic, and eco-friendly. They will not add any odd odors or flavors to your food at all. They are made out of a used glass fiber cloth and is coated with a 45% PTFE with special technology. This material cleans off so easily. Nothing really sticks to it at all. It has a great temperature range as well. It can go from -60F to a max of 680 °F. You can do candy making and chocolate making on these mats, easily. I love use them for meal prep. The size is larger than a cutting board, and I don’t always need to do a lot of cutting. It’s great to be able to lay all my food out in one area while preparing. Especially since these mats are so easy to clean. Today, I used one of the mats to prep the grilled cheese sandwiches for our soup and sandwich dinner. It was so much easier than stacking bread on multiple plates. I also love that since it is a nonstick mat, I do not have to add any oil or butter to grease it before putting my food down. We go through a lot of baseball caps in my household. My guys wear them all the time. They get really dirty and sweaty too. Using a Cap Washer like this one from JHeath on Amazon, can really help expand the life of your baseball cap. They let you really clean your caps, while maintaining their shape and integrity. It is so easy to use as well. You can place this in a washing machine that doesn’t have the tall agitator. They recommend the top rack of the dishwasher, on the normal cycle, the most though. Just place your hat into the unit. Then clip it shut, and place it on the top rack. Make sure the agitator on the top of the washing machine isn’t going to hit it. I didn’t think of that at first, but then moved it to the corner of the top rack, and it worked perfectly this way for me. I did have a hard time opening mine the first time. One of my clips did not want to slide through to open. I removed the cardboard from the packaging, and then I was able to work it easier. Place your dish detergent into the machine like usual, and wash it on the normal cycle. Then, leave your hat in the cap washer until it is dry. The same goes for the washing machine. I cheated, because I wanted to check on my hat, lol. Then I had to place the whole thing outside to dry, since I stopped the heat cycle. They also suggest using a mild detergent with the cap. I used one of those detergent pods, and it worked great! The cap washer is very gently on your cap. It is made out of plastic, and doesn’t affect your hat in any negative way. It’s such a simple design, but I am so glad someone invented one. It is the perfect answer for washing your hats.

A great knife for your car. – Outdoor Games’ WHX Outdoor Camping Survival Folding Knife.

I live in a house with a lot of guys, and guys like knives. Well, mine do anyhow. I have been converted, and get just as excited about them. Not only are they great tools to have, but the can help you save your life in an emergency. This knife from Outdoor Games can do just that too. It is a great tool to keep in your vehicle. This folding knife has a built in seatbelt cutter as well as a glass breaker on it. It does not come with a sheath, but it does have a metal pocket clip on it. It’s a long metal pocket clip, and sturdy. The blade is a Tanto blade and was made out of 440C Stainless Steel. Overall this knife measures out at 8 ¼” long when opened. The blade measures out at 3.5” to the tip. They state 2.9”, so I would check my state laws before ordering it. We can have up to a 4” blade on us, here in NC. This is a heaver blade with the built in car safety features. It weighs out at 7.3oz with my scale. My knife arrived in perfect condition. It arrived with the usual factory edge, and in my opinion needs to be sharpened. If I want my knife to be able to be fully utilized, it needs to have a sharp edge on it, capable of shaving those hairs, lol. The blade test we always do. Even though it’s a larger knife for me, I can still do the one handed open and close. I’m not great at flicking it open yet, since it’s larger. It is also a little tight when it first arrives, which is normal. There is no play in the blade. When it is opened, it is well locked in. To close it, you just need to press your thumb against the liner lock and push the blade shut with your other fingers. The blade has a camo like finish done on it. It’s pretty sharp looking. The handle is metal with a black, plastic insert which has ridges on it. It helps with the grip, and the aesthetics. There is a lanyard whole already there for you as well. This is a great tool to keep in a vehicle. It would be great camping or hiking as well. In a pinch you can cut your Paracord, or anything else you need. It’s thick and solid, and a great price for such a useful tool.
