Keep Your Skin Fresh and Clean with Era Organics

I was sent three facial products from ERA Organics to test and review. I had my mom help me out on a couple of the products. The three products I was sent are:

Both the Mud Therapy and their Relief Cream were tested by my mother, since they have some nut based products in them. I am allergic to nuts. I personally tested out the Facial Cleaner. I do love how these products have no Parabans and Phthalates in them. I am very picky on what I will put on my body, and my families’.

The cleaner is a light, and fresh cleanser to use. It was not heavily scented with chemicals, which I like. Instead, it has its’ own clean scent, almost minty. It is refreshing, and comfortable to use. It left my face feeling clean. I had no tight and over dry reaction to it, afterwards, either. My skin remained nice and soft. It was made to have a balanced ph value, and you can tell, with how your skin reacts to it. It is a 4oz bottle, and a little goes a long way. I like to put a little on a silicone scrubby, and clean and massage my face at the same time. Talk about stress relieving. I suffer from serious allergies, and have constant reactions. My skin is highly sensitive, and I have had no issues with this product. I believe the hype! Here are some of its’ wonderful attributes:

Next, we have their Dead Sea Mud Therapy. I remember, as a child, watching my mom do her mud masks to her face. She would tell me how it was good for the skin. I, myself, have done mud masks, and loves them. So, I was happy to give this to my mom to try. It is also full of incredible ingredients, that are nourishing and detoxing, to the skin. I make a lot of my own products, and use a lot of the ingredients they use. For example, this product has Hemp Oil, Manuka Honey, and Aloe in it. Those alone are so fantastic to the skin. It also has Shea butter in it. Another product great for your skin. These products, if you look them up separately on line, are found to have nourishing, anti-inflammatory, and healing properties to the skin. So, they make sense to be in facial products. This is the full ingredient list:

I like that they even have Non-GMO products in it. The scent is a natural scent. It has no overpowering odor, one way or the other. With this, you just need to place it on clean skin, let it sit for 20 minutes, and set in, and then gently rub it off, with water, using a circular motion. This will help to increase the circulation to your skin as well. It really is a healthy product to add to your routine. It is rich with vitamins and minerals. A vitamin for your skin, lol. Do this once a week, let’s say, on the weekend, and it should help to pull out the impurities from the week, and reenergize your skin. The following are some of the benefits stated from the company:

Some of the wonderful ingredients in this cream are Aloe, Manuka Honey, Cocoa Seed Butter, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Shea Butter, Blue-Green Algae, Hemp Seed Oil, Vit. E, Glycerin, B5, Vit. A, B2, Vit. C, Oat Amino Protein, MSM, and so on, and so on. There is a mixture of Organic and Non-Organic as well. This cream is non greasy, pleasant to put on. It has a light, natural, fresh scent. No artificial odors here. They state that is is wonderful for skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, and more. My mom, who tested this, only gets eczema, from time to time. Her hands and feet are her problem areas. She has been using this on her hands. She likes how it soaks right in, and leaves no residue behind. She literally has no tolerance for that. She can be one picky customer, and she is pretty happy with this cream.

A skins’ best friend. – Organic Pure Emu Oil by Leven Rose.

I did a lot of research on Emu oil a couple of years ago. I have insane allergies with anaphylactic reactions, and get reactive breakouts because of it. They turn into skin infections fast, if I don’t knock it down fast. I went the whole doctor route, and dermatologist, and allergist route. Medicine really doesn’t help at all. Steroids would knock it down, but then it would flare back up even worse. At one point, the skin off my nose was nonexistent to just raw infection. I had many other spots as well. After a long time of unbelievable pain, I went the al natural, organic route.

I do have a history of being a nurse, so after a lot of research, I chose a few products. Emu oil was one of them. Wow, it is really healing to the skin. This product is wonderful. It is all 100% pure and organic. Since I have started using Emu oil, as well as a couple others (I rotate), I have not had anything close to the horror I was enduring before them. Emu oil is full of Omega 3 & Omega 6 Fatty Acids, and linoleic acid and oleic acid, that do nothing but heal the skin. It is an anti-inflammatory agent as well. It is perfect on your lips and skin. It has a creamy, and oily texture to it. Even though its’ an oil product, it does not leave an oily residue on your skin. Your skin absorbs it so fast. It has a very faint natural scent to it, but it’s so faint, you do not even notice it on your face and lips. It has a wonderful soft feeling to it. It will not make you break out. In the contrary to a lot of peoples’ beliefs, all oils are not acne causing, lol. They actually do the opposite. They increase the health of your skin. It will not clog your pores either. You can use this on all skin, and skin conditions. I just used this on my sons’ leg. He reacts horribly o common bug bites. Something attacked his leg, and he had huge, hard welts all over it.

They had a lot of heat in them, and I was afraid they were going to go into a skin infection. It has happened to him before. The emu oil helped him tremendously. It took the heat away, and the bites started to soften up, and heal. They were no longer a glowing red color on his fair skin. Since it is a soft creamy oil, it did not sting his bites at all. I am a true Emu Oil believer and user, and I really like this organic Emu Oil from Leven Rose.

Chocolicious! – Wild Dark Chocolate Powder.

I love chocolate. But, since I have developed insane food allergies, as well as allergies to additives, and preservatives, it’s hard for me to buy it. The same goes for cocoa powder. I love this product for several reasons: Non GMO, Organic, and Incredible flavor. I received the smallest of the sizes available: 4oz. But, they also have it available in an 8oz package, as well as a 12oz package. I like being able to get a smaller batch of a new product. I hate wasting food, if I do not like it, or if it tuens out I cannot tolerate it. I love companies who are proud to say they use Non GMO ingredients. These is 100% natural, and organic. I love the consistency, the flavor, and the fact that the package reseals easily during use. I love knowing that when I bake for my family, that they are at least eating a chemical free, and healthy dessert. My daily supplement. – Schwartz Bioresearches’ Turmeric Curcumin with Bioperine.

Turmeric is one of my staples. I take it twice a day, and I never plan on stopping. I am not new to Turmeric from Schwartz Bioresearch. I have taken it in the past, and I am glad to be taking it again. I am very, very picky about the supplements I take. I have a Nursing background and numerous life threatening allergies. I literally depend on a handful of quality supplements to keep me healthy. Turmeric is one of them. When it comes down to the nitty gritty, Turmeric is a great long term anti-inflammatory supplement. Inflammation is a major portion of most diseases too. It is also full of antioxidants, and can only be beneficial to you.

The reason why I am so picky about what I take, is that most companies really do put out very unhealthy supplements. It’s unreal how so many are processed. I’ve even read an ingredient list of a children’s vitamin that included Arsenic in it. This Turmeric is a Non-GMO product!!!!!!!!!!! That is just so important, and something I look for. It is made in the USA, and has no binders or fillers. It has no chemicals. Preservatives, or colorants in it as well. It is also free of wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, peanuts, shellfish, and sugar. The only ingredients in this product are: Turmeric, Turmeric Extract, Black Pepper, Vegetable Capsules. That’s it. Why black pepper you ask. That is needed to really help your body process the Turmeric. This has enhanced bioavailability. There is 95% Curcuminoids in each serving, which is really necessary to have the benefits of Turmeric. You only need to take 2 capsules a day, for a total of 1300mg. They are on the thinner side, and easy to get down. They do not upset my stomach or intestines, at all. Since I have added Turmeric to my daily regimen, I have been able to get off ibuprofen, completely. You don’t know how major that is. I was taking 800mg of ibuprofen at a time, and at least twice a day. I have very frequent anaphylactic reactions. My throat is always sore and swollen, as well as my body. Turmeric really gave me my life back. It is worth every penny. I really love this product. The quality is something I can whole heartedly get behind.

Organic goodness. – Superfood Harvest’s Organic Turmeric Root Ground Powder.

Turmeric is part of my daily life, and it has been for over a year now. I just love it. It is definitely more than just a yummy spice for foods. Turmeric can be eyed as a Superfood, a supplement, a yummy additive to your recipe. It’s just one of those great all natural products. This Turmeric from Superfood Harvest is just wonderful. It is a Non GMO product, which is highly important to me! It is an organic product as well. Another very important feature I look for. This is a Turmeric root ground powder. It is a fine ground and a pleasure to work with. You could make your own capsules with it as well. We make a great homemade toothpaste now and then with organic Turmeric. We made a couple batches with this one. It’s so easy to do. It is not only great for your gums and teeth, but it actually helps whiten them naturally. I take approx.. three supplements, which includes the Turmeric. I almost never take Ibuprofen anymore. That means so much to me. There is also a drink called Magic Milk, that Turmeric is famous for. It is supposed to help boost the immune system. Here is the recipe for that:

Ingredients

1 cup organic milk

1/2 tsp black pepper powder (optional)

1 tsp turmeric powder

Organic raw honey to taste

Preparation:

2.In a vessel add milk, pepper, turmeric powder, honey or sugar, and allow it to boil on a medium heat.

3.After 5 minutes, the milk would have thickened a bit or reduced, then remove and drink.

Recipes including this wonderful spice are easy to find on the internet nowadays as well. This is a great overall product. It has so many positive uses. The quality is wonderful. They also state they do not irradiate their spice. I honestly never knew that was done. It turns out some companies irradiate their spices to have them last longer. I am very comfortable using this Turmeric powder as well as feed it to my own family. It’s really a great product.

So, so delicious!!!! – Black Tie Mercantile’s Guittard Organic 66% Cacao Semisweet Chocolate Baking Wafers.

I love cooking, especially baking. I find people either love to bake or they hate to bake, lol. Since I am plagued with an intense amount of life threatening food allergies, I am so glad I enjoy cooking. Chocolate, on the other hand, is an issue for me. I find that a lot of chocolate either is made with Vanillin, which I am allergic to, or processed where nuts are handled. I have had my throat shut under those circumstances too. So, I am beyond thrilled with these Non-GMO semisweet chocolate baking wafers. They are organic, and 66% Cacao. You get 2 sealed 12oz packages in your order. This chocolate is amazing. It is amazing to taste, and to work with. Even when I think I am buying a great quality chocolate, I find that it is hard to actually work with. It burns too easily, and doesn’t act like it should. It acts and tastes like it should, and you don’t have to second guess the actual ingredients in the product, or how it was processed. It is also a Fair Trade product, which I know a lot of people love. The chocolate melted perfectly. The taste is pure, and delicious. I really can’t express enough how wonderful this product is. I have been taking Resveratrol twice a day, for a little over 3 years now. It has made a big difference in my life, and I will always take it now. I am very picky about the product though.
