Incredible sound from Hobest Bluetooth Headphones.

At first glance, this product really impressed me. We go through a lot of Bluetooth headphones in our home, too. I love the thick and sturdy storage case this product came in. The zipper functions perfectly, and it easily holds the headphones and charging, Micro USB cord, when not in use. The cord is a longer one, which I am really appreciating. They have really shortened many charging cords nowadays, and that is really starting to annoy me. We use charging stations a lot, and you can’t charge everything in one area, if all the cords are short. In your package, you do get the headphones, the charging Micro USB cord, directions, the storage case, and 2 extra pairs of silicone ear buds in different sizes. These headphones are very sturdy in hand. The two arms that unfold, do so well. No weakness in the joints noted at all. I love, love, love the splash of celery green color on the ends of the black headphones. It really gives this set a sporty look. I charged mine immediately upon arriving. The charging port is on the underside, of the right arm. All of the controls for the headphones are in this location as well. (They do, however, have other color options available.)

On the right arm, you will find an actual on/off button, a + button, a – button, and a telephone button. On each arm, there is a small button that retracts the earbuds. This is the style where you pull the earbud out of the arm, to your desired length. I can see pushing that button by accident, so be careful. It is the first button, on the top of the right arm. If you remember that, you can avoid retracting your earbud, lol. The + and – buttons are on the side of the right arm, which will help you avoid that too. There is no LED light when charging. When you turn on the headset, it vibrates, and then you can see the blue/red LED lights. They are located at the on/off switch.

I have a Note 5, and I did not have any issues pairing with this headset. It comes up as SX-990 to pair. No code was needed. Make sure you pull out extra wire when fitting the headphones on, Otherwise the weight of the headset, when you move around, will pull the earbuds out of your ears. Once they are fit, they stay in pretty well. I bopped around, and they stayed put. The sound quality is awesome. I listened to one song with a lot of ranges, and a lot of bass, and it sounded great! The song was Cold by Maroon 5. I was able to enjoy music from Rap to Boccelli. I like all kinds of music, and I am really enjoying this headset. It has a mic for calls as well. Something my husband has to have. He is always on the road for work, and needs to have the ability to take calls at all hours. Since there is a separate button for calls, it really makes calls easy. This set has a high sensitivity microphone, which has helped keep his calls clear. It also has CVC 6.0 Noise Cancellation technology. I can sit and listen to music in the living room with the TV on, and my son playing games on his laptop, and just hear the music. So, I think it works really well. You might want to not listen to music while driving because of this though, lol.

Now, when listening to music, you control the functions with the + and – buttons. To increase or decrease volume, you need to press and hold the coordinating buttons. To restart a song, or go through the playlist, you need to just press, not hold and press, the + and – buttons. So, this is like most headphones, and easy to do.

These headphones will connect to IOS and Android. It has Bluetooth 4.1 technology in it. This helps with longer battery time, from what I read. I haven’t tested the standby hours, but it is stated to have this battery life: “supports 18 hours talking time, 16 hours music playback time, and more than 300 hours standby time.” We never have just talk, with no music either, lol. Now, these headphones do talk to you which I like. For example, when you turn the headset on or off, it says things like, “Power Off”.

My husband has officially taken off with these headphones, lol. He also has a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phone. He, like myself, has had no trouble with connecting to these headphones. The calls are nice and clear, both on and off Wi-Fi calling. The double tap of the mfb, or telephone button, does indeed bring up the last number called. When a call comes in it does state, Incoming Call, and then spells out the number. We have been able to get through a day of use on one charge, too. The calling feature where it tells you in the incoming number, is very valuable if you are driving. It gives you the ability to know who’s calling without looking at your phone. Now, when a call is coming in, and you do not walk to accept the call, you just need to double tap the mfb button; that’s it!

Overall, these are comfortable to wear. The sound has been great, the calls clear, and easy to do. We both have been appreciating the storage case. My husband likes these so much, he has claimed permanent ownership of them, lol.

It’s so fluffy! – Really Stuffed™ Volleyball Pillow.

My youngest has a freaky allergy to bugs. Not sure which ones. He severely reacts at times, and at other times, really welts up and feels very sick. He is not an outdoor type of kid because of this. So, I was happy to see this ball. It’s bright, and fun looking. It can be thrown in the house, and he can run around and be all “kid” with it. I don’t have to worry too much, about him breaking anything. This is a super plush, 8”, volleyball. The bright blue and yellow are reminiscent to me of volleyballs. It is also so vibrant and easy to see where it landed. It is so super plush, you could actually lay on it, like a pillow. This over stuffed ball, is even close to the size of a real volleyball. Depending on the size of your indoor basketball hoop, if you have one, you may be able to use this ball with it. It should swish right through. Since it is easy to grasp, because it is stuffed, it is even good for little ones, when experiencing their first ball play. All of the stitching was well done on this ball. Mine arrived in perfect condition. It has no holes, stains, tears, or odors on it and to it. It’s really well made. I love how all ages can play with this together, in home. Just because you are inside, doesn’t mean you can’t play around and have some fun together as a family. My son can even throw this around to himself to burn off that energy that all our young ones have. He always has to be busy, and this ball fits the bill. He can just hold onto it, and fling it around. He can roll it around with his feet, under his desk, when he’s at his computer, and so much more. It’s the perfect toy for indoors.

Ping Pong!!!!!!!!! – Virginia Table Tennis Products’ Vigilante War Scythe Table Tennis Paddle.

We love ping pong in our home. We do need a new table though. My husband is a ping pong nut, and my Father, back in the day, was a ping pong champion, according to my mom. When I received this to review, it never crossed my mind, that my husband would be so excited about it. He absolutely loves it, as does one of my older sons. It is definitely not your average store bought paddle. This is nothing like it whatsoever. I love the name they gave it, Vigilante. How intense is that. You may feel like that too, when using this paddle. It will definitely give you an upper edge over your opponent, unless they have the same paddle, lol. It has premium sticky rubber sides to it. One side is red, and the other black. This helps give you a tighter spin, and more accurate hits. I guess they call that a padded paddle, lol. That’s a tongue twister. This paddle is used by professionals around the world, and is ITTF approved. The ITTF is the International Table Tennis Federation. Ping Pong is a pretty big deal worldwide. I find the paddle to be much lighter than regular beginner paddles. The handle is a little on the shorter side, and that is something I need to get used to. I’ve only used regular beginner paddles before. This is my first time using anything different. I also love that this paddle comes with a protective case. It fully zips around the paddle, just like a regular tennis racket cover. This will help keep the paddle nice and clean, and undamaged, the sticky sides can be washed off easily, if it gets too linty or dirty. The cover has some padding to it, as well as an attached wrist strap. It was made really well. There was no odor to it. The zipper is of good quality, and the stitching was all done tight and on point. Overall, I am really impressed with the whole set up. It’s very professional.

Yoga with a little flare. – Poshsquares’ Women’s Fashion Wide Leg Flare Comfy Yoga Pants.

I rarely wear yoga pants when I head out on the town, but I wear them at night and to sleep. They are quite comfy!. I was interested in this pair, they looked so different from the basic pair of yoga pants. These have a flared leg, instead of the tight legs, which are a lot dressier, and more relaxed. The material they are made out of is clearly printed on the label as well, which is nice. I’ve received other clothing items in the mail, and there has been no material listed at all. These pants are made out of 95% Rayon and 5% Spandex. So, they won’t shrink on you, and are comfortable against your skin. My yoga pants arrived with no odor to them at all either. That was a big relief for me. With my asthma and allergies, I am very sensitive to fabric that has been heavily treated in chemicals. I’ll tell you what’s hard to believe. They have these pants available in 35 different colors. Lol, I ordered black, my favorite color with yoga pants. I mean, I don’t have any in any other color. To top it off, they are also made here in the USA. I love that!. I can say that these pants have unique laundering instructions for them. They suggest hand washing them, and line drying them. They also say to never iron them. Let me say, I am a machine wash kind of gal, so that’s what I did. Yes, I am rebellious, lol. They came out just fine. The material is soft though, so make sure there is nothing that will snag them if you do. I also do not have an agitator in my machine, and that does make a difference. I am only 5’3”. The inseam is 31” long, and the waist, straight across is 12”, not stretched out. These are my measurements with my tape measure. These are too long for me to wear out and about, but are perfect for hanging around the house in the evening. I will say, that being 5’3”, and the pants having a flared leg, that these pants make you look thicker than you really are. I wear a size small too. So, you need to make that personal choice on your own. Now, all of the stitching on my yoga pants was done tight and on point. I had no snags, holes, stains, or tears. I do have to admit, they are very comfy on. They also, do allow you great freedom of movement like yoga pans are supposed to.

The perfect way to carry a hair tie with you. – FLandB’s Stainless Steel Shimmer Hair Tie Cuff Bracelet.

My hair is so stubborn. It is thick, and very wavy, and has a mind of its’ own. A while back, when I went to the salon for a haircut, the stylist was adamant on straightening my hair, and making it behave. Over 4 hours later in the chair, he stated he gave up. He was over it, lol. It took him that long, with a flat iron, to straighten it, and it didn’t last long, lol. So, in other words, I almost always have my hair pulled up. I live by the coast, and it’s always windy. So, I almost always have my hair up in some way. When my hair is really behaving, I only pull some of it up in a hairclip. That is when a bracelet like this is perfect for me. When I am out and about, and my hair gets crazy, I can just grab my hairband, and pull my hair up. It definitely looks a lot better wrapped around this stainless steel bracelet, then alone on my wrist. If I throw my hairband in my large purse, it just disappears. This bracelet from FLandB’s on Amazon is made out of stainless steel. It is really thick and sturdy as well. I was really impressed by that. They certainly did not skimp on materials in the least. Because it’s really thick, it’s a little harder to squeeze tight on your wrist, if you like it more snug. This bracelet is stated to fit wrist sizes 5.75 – 6.5”. In my opinion, it will fit a much larger wrist as well. The inside of the cuff style bracelet is a smooth finish, and very comfortable against the skin. It doesn’t pull on your arm hairs at all. Since it is stainless steel I also don’t have to worry about my metal sensitivities, or rusting. Since I live by the coast, rust is always a concern. On the outside of the bracelet, the outer edges are the high polished shine, and the center is a shimmery, glittery finish. This is actually a sandblasted finis, and the look is awesome. I love the glittery shine it gives off. This gal loves her sparkle. Only band style hair ties fit into the groove of this bracelet. They sit in the groove perfectly, and really stay put while you are wearing it. Then, when you take it of the bracelet to wear, you are left wearing a really pretty bracelet. The bracelet itself is ½” wide. The opening is 1 ¼” in size, and the length of the interior bracelet is approx.. 6” in length. These are my measurements that I took. I normally wear a 7” bracelet, and this one is nice and loose on my wrist. That’s how I normally like to wear them, so it’s perfect for me. You can change the look of this bracelet so easily, by just changing out the color of the hairband. It’s quite utilitarian and pretty to wear.

Crisp clear sound with SoundPEATs New Arrival Q11 Bluetooth 4.1 Wireless Sport Headset.

I have to admit it; I am really fond of Soundpeat headphones. They really haven’t disappointed us in the past. I was so happy to receive their Q11 headphones to test. I love, love, love this over ear design. If you are bouncy, have a lot of hair, and are active, these babies will not fall out of your ear, and they are sweat proof! The design is perfecto! I wouldn’t change one thing! I really can’t express that enough. The design is perfect. Now, down to the music, lol. I wouldn’t be happy if they stayed on, but sounded horrible. That would be extra horrible, lol. These sound wonderful. The music and phone calls are nice, and crisp and clear. They chalk that up to their Bluetooth 4.1 technology and their apt X technology. It’s working for them. The bass and instrumental are clear. No edginess, or interference. There is no jumping or static at different levels. These headphones do have a bar off of the right ear. The controls are on the bar, and the micro USB port to charge them is on the right ear. The bar has a multipurpose button in the center, and a plus and minus buttons on either side of the multipurpose button. Press and hold the multipurpose button to turn them on and to pair. They come up as QY11 to pair, and no code is needed. They paired immediately with My Galaxy Note 5 phone. They do speak to you a little. For example: Power on, Power off, Phone 1 connected. They do not state the incoming call phone number though. One press of the multipurpose button is all it’s needed to both answer a phone call and to hang up a phone call. It will go back to playing your music when your call is over. Now, for the + and – buttons. Short press the minus button to lower the volume, long press to restart your song. Short press the + button to increase the volume, and long press to move to the next song. It’s very responsive, no lag. The calls are clear, and I had no trouble answering or hanging up. My husband used them out and about on the road for work without a hitch. You really can’t take calls without Bluetooth when you are in a car. Hands free is really the only way to go. He is on the road a lot, but has to take calls for work. These allow him to be safe and efficient. He also likes to run, and these are there for him yet again. Unfortunately I really love them too, lol. But, I love him more, so he gets first dibs on keeping them.

We go through a lot of baseball caps in my household. My guys wear them all the time. They get really dirty and sweaty too. Using a Cap Washer like this one from JHeath on Amazon, can really help expand the life of your baseball cap. They let you really clean your caps, while maintaining their shape and integrity. It is so easy to use as well. You can place this in a washing machine that doesn’t have the tall agitator. They recommend the top rack of the dishwasher, on the normal cycle, the most though. Just place your hat into the unit. Then clip it shut, and place it on the top rack. Make sure the agitator on the top of the washing machine isn’t going to hit it. I didn’t think of that at first, but then moved it to the corner of the top rack, and it worked perfectly this way for me. I did have a hard time opening mine the first time. One of my clips did not want to slide through to open. I removed the cardboard from the packaging, and then I was able to work it easier. Place your dish detergent into the machine like usual, and wash it on the normal cycle. Then, leave your hat in the cap washer until it is dry. The same goes for the washing machine. I cheated, because I wanted to check on my hat, lol. Then I had to place the whole thing outside to dry, since I stopped the heat cycle. They also suggest using a mild detergent with the cap. I used one of those detergent pods, and it worked great! The cap washer is very gently on your cap. It is made out of plastic, and doesn’t affect your hat in any negative way. It’s such a simple design, but I am so glad someone invented one. It is the perfect answer for washing your hats.

We use Bluetooth headphones all of the time in my household. They are well loved, lol. My guys live and breathe with them, since they can use them at work and for working out. They always need to be able to take calls as well. With Bluetooth headphones like these, they can continue to work and drive, and still take calls from inspectors, head of the company, clients and more. These headphones are perfect for them, and very slick looking. The design is very modern, and professional. These Vomach Bluetooth Earphones come with a small micro USB charging cable, and 2 pairs of extra silicone earbuds. The controls are on the right ear. The micro USB charging port is on the left ear. The controls are on the right ear are a +, – and multipurpose button. The multipurpose button is on the top, and the other two buttons are on the backside of your ear. This is pretty easy to remember. These headphones have Bluetooth CSR V4.1 technology. You can even connect to two items at the same time. After you connect with the first item, turn off your Bluetooth. Then connect the second item. Now, go ahead and turn the Bluetooth back on the first item. The sound quality is pretty great, it really is. They have noise isolation as well. Lol, I keep yelling at people when I talk while the music is playing. The bass and instrumental sound well balanced, and clear. Music is really enjoyable with this set up. These talk to you, so there is no guessing. It states things like: Power On, Pairing, Power Off, and it even spells out the incoming call. On the right ears’ + button and – buttons, you long press these to adjust the volume, and short press to either move forward in your play list or restart your song. For the price point these are at, they are awesome. You can get about the usual 30ft away from these, just not down the hallway, around corners, or behind doors. These do get about 5hours of playtime, less if you play the music really loud. If you only use these for calls, maybe closer to 6 hours of battery life. These have in internal 80mAh battery. These also get 200 hours of standby time, and only take a 1 ½ hours to charge. Not too shabby. I really like these headphones.

They are sweat proof, so great for working out. The sound quality is pretty good. They have CVC noise isolation. The bass and instrumental sound well balanced. Music is enjoyable with this set up. These talk to you, so there is no guessing. It states things like: Power On, Pairing, Device Is Connected, and it even spells out the incoming call. I love being able to say no to decline, and yes to accept a call. It works really well too! Also on the control bar are a + button and a – button. The perfect fishing net. – Quick Fox Unlimited’s Bundle, Catch and Release Fly Fishing Net.

My family likes to fish. It’s an activity that all ages can do together, and is quite enjoyable. This fishing net from Quick Fox Unlimited is gorgeous. It comes with a really strong, magnetic release cord too. My husband was actually surprised at how strong the magnet is. The basket of this fishing net is made out of a rubber mesh. It is gentle on the fish if you are doing catch and release, and if you are fly fishing, will help enable an easy Fly removal as well. You can use this for any type of fishing. It does not have to be fly fishing. The craftsmanship of this net is top notch. I love the wood handle and frame. It has a beautiful two toned design, and is highly varnished to ensure the life of the wood. The basket was sewn on, so it is changeable if you damage it. There are little holes through the wood frame where the basket was attached with string. The hoop, area, or basket measures out at: “25 inches (hoop is 10.75″ x 16.75″ and 8″ deep).” The magnetic clasp clips on easily with a metal clip. It measures at 9″ coiled and 72″ stretched out. We do a lot of pier fishing, and this net will definitely come in handy. Besides the magnetic clip, this net also comes with a clip on stretchable neck lanyard. Both of these are perfect for when you are fishing in the water, and leaning over a pier railing. You can even take this net out when you fish from your kayak. Besides having a great reach, you are ensured not losing it, as long as you take advantage of its features. You don’t have to worry about the net dry rotting either because it’s rubber. This really is a fabulous fishing net. It’s a win, win. We are really happy about it, and are looking forward to a lot of fishing with it.
