Time to get creative. – E & I Trading’s Fabric Markers Crafts, 12 Pack.

I received a bunch of plain canvas bags recently. They make great gift bags, because they are reusable. The only downfall I found was individualizing them, so they weren’t so boring, all be it, practical, and ecofriendly. These fabric markers from E & I Trading Fabric are a fun way to personalize these bags. Now, I have to get used to writing on fabric with markers, lol. In this set I received 12 markers of different colors. Each marker has 2 tips on it too. There is a chiseled tip on one end, and a fine tip on the other end. I like having the two tips, it really makes it easier and more convenient to do your design. The colors included in the set are: Black, Vivid Red, Orange, Lemon Yellow, Deep Violet, Sky Blue, Forest Green, Chocolate, Grey, Grass Green, Brilliant Blue, and Pale Purple. Those are the actual names of the colors on the caps.

The colors are pretty true to the cap color, which was nice to see. I hate reaching for what I think is one color, but ends up being another color. These are permanent markers, but they are nontoxic. So, you can feel safe with your kids decorating with them. They could have a blast decorating their own T-Shirts.

Make sure, when you color, to place a notebook, or piece of cardboard, on the back side of the material. Or in-between, like I had to do with this bag. Otherwise the colors will run through to the other side. They recommend washing in cool water, and with a color friendly detergent. What I noticed, is that when drawing on fabric, the ink will run slightly with the fabric. Your lines will not be exact on all fabrics. It’s like drawing outside the lines, lol. The amount it will run depends on the weave of your fabric. A tighter weave will allow for a more exact look. With Halloween coming up, you can have a blast decorating trick or treat bags, and costumes with these. You can make banners for special events and more. You are really bound by your own imagination. These are easy and fun to use. Now I need more plain fabric to play with.

This concept is even great for gift giving. I think it would be fantastic to set this up for your loved one in a nursing home, etc. It can be your secret treasure that you can hide in your car, lol. You can indulge and try and relax on your lunch breaks at work.

I received a box to sample. When I opened my box, I really did not know what to expect. Let me tell you what, I was really surprised, and in a good way too. I received 2 coloring books of different sizes, and many different coloring options. The pictures in both books are only printed on one side, which I always prefer. No bleed through to the other side this way. The pages in both books are perforated, in case I want to take one out, and frame it. Also included in my box was a pencil/pen storage case, and a box of 18, double tipped markers. They are water based, and non-toxic. Which is great if you have nosey pets, and small children in your home. I have asthma and allergies, and these markers had no scent to bother me. It was a great, well balanced set. The set had a lot of floral in it, but it also had animal prints, and abstract prints, so something for everyone. It even had some great quotes on some of the pictures. The double tipped markers are great. There is a fine tip on one side, and a broader tip on the other. The markers really cover well, too.

I have been using organic castor oil for a few years now. I use it in my homemade soap, as well as straight out of the bottle. I absolutely love this product. This particular bottle of Organic Castor Oil from FoxBrim, on Amazon, is one of my favorites. The bottle is a great size, and I keep it in the bathroom as part of my skincare regimen. I rotate my all natural oils during the week, and this is one of them. I have used this product in the past, so I am very familiar with it, and can honestly say it’s one of my favorites. It is a 4oz glass bottle. It’s a dark brown glass bottle. No chemicals will leach into it since it’s a glass bottle too. Castor oil is extracted from the Castor seed. No Hexane was used to process this product either. People don’t realize it, but a lot of horrible chemicals are used to process what are supposed to be healthy oils. This is organic and Hexane free. Castor oil is known for its high antioxidant count and anti-inflammatory properties. That is what makes it great for skin care. The oil is on the thicker side. Even though, it does seep into the skin. I like to use it as a lip gloss too, since it’s thicker. It doesn’t taste bad as a lip gloss either, lol. I get a ton of allergic breakouts, and quickly keep them at bay with natural oils. This Castor oil has been very beneficial to my skin. I use it on my face and throat a lot, since that is where I have most of my issues. It’s amazing how fast this natural oil can heal a sore, whereas any prescription I’ve received has not healed my skin. They start to improve it, but then it stops working. I only use natural oils now. Since it is thicker, sometimes I add a couple drops of my tea tree oil to it, and then rub it on my affected area. It’s a very healthy carrier oil when I use it like that. Castor oil is also rich in fatty acids, which also makes it very healthy for your hair, skin, and nails. It really does help too, from my personal experience. You can rub this on your feet before bedtime, and around your nailbeds. I love it in my homemade soaps. This is just a win, win product. There was no animal testing done with this brand. It is a cold pressed, unrefined organic product. I most definitely recommend it.

Ties for everyone! – Winnerbuy’s Mens Wholesale Groomsman Solid Color Skinny Ties Lot of 5.

I have to be honest, it has never occurred to me to look for a grouping of ties to order. I didn’t even know that was out there, lol. It’s a great option for group events though, so I’m glad it is an option. Such an easy one too. This set from Winnerbuy is a set of 5 ties. I picked Navy Blue, but you can choose an assortment of colors, or a set of 5 in one of the other 26 color options. They have a lot of color options. That was impressive to me. There are so many crafting projects to be made out of ties as well. I was amazed when I started doing a search. I love the footstool and chair recovering ideas. You can make really cute skirts out of ties as well. These are more of the skinny tie model, but not nearly as skinny as I remember from the past, lol. These ties are 2 ¾ “ at their widest, so not Miami Vice thin. They are also 59” long and are made out of polyester, and well made. They are even lined. The Navy Blue ones are lined with a pretty black fabric. None of my ties have loose stitching, snags or tears. They arrived with no odor to them as well. These would be great and inexpensive for a wedding party. All budgets can afford these, which is great. Right now they are only 20.99 with free shipping. You can order these to unify a group outing, or event. Even for children, like Boy Scouting special events. It would even be fun to show up at a party with a group of people, all wearing the same ties. They sell all colors, including pretty shades of pink. Think of the fun women can have with those at parities. Overall, I am very pleased with this set of ties. I really can’t complain at all.

It’s Vinyl Crafting Time. – Innoweb Power’s Scraft Artise 12″ x 12″ Matte Finish Outdoor Adhesive Craft Vinyl.

We like vinyl in my home, lol. Not the usual statement you will hear from someone, but it’s true. Whether we stick them to our car windows, or our laptops, they are a fun way to express yourself. It’s fun being able to make your own from home. It has a gratifying premise to it. This package by Innoweb Powers has 10 sheets in it. There are 5 white sheets and 5 black vinyl sheets. Each sheet measures out at 12” x 12”. The thickness is 3mm; so it’s a great thickness to work with. The back of each sheet of vinyl has a measured grid on the back of it. We do not have a Cricut machine, or any machine like that, but this ran through our printer perfectly. We had to cut the sheet down, and it ran right through. We chose to print the design out on the back of the sheet, and then cut the design out easily. My husband wanted the Punisher symbol for his laptop, so we did that first. Since the quality of this vinyl is top notch, it was a very smooth process. The vinyl sticks really, really well. It is rated to last 3 years in the outdoor environment, and 5 years in the indoor environment. This vinyl does have a permanent adhesive backing, and is not recommended for walls. This is not the peel and stick vinyl people put on their walls. So walls equal no! This material is obviously waterproof, since it has a three-year life span outdoors. You can decorate wine glasses, serving dishes, and the like, if you so choose to. It would be a very economical way to decorate the outside of votive holders, and wine glasses for a wedding, or special occasion. You can decorate a special vase to pull out on birthdays or anniversaries. There are endless opportunities, and we find it fun to do. They do have other color options available, as well as larger quantities. You can go all patriotic and order the red, white, and blue options, or be pretty in pink, and just order pink, lol. There are other color choices as well. I am very happy with the quality of this adhesive backed vinyl. I have no complaints.

So many creative things to do with this Washi Tape by Inspired Me Products.

If you are a crafter, then you will love this tape. It really opens up a whole new venue for you. It definitely did for me. This box offers a wide assortment of colors and designs. There are 16 rolls of Washi tape in it, and each roll measures out at 15mm wide and 10m long. I went to the allfreepapercrafts.com website. I typed in Washi tape, and a bunch of inspirations popped up. There are a lot of designs available online to be inspired by. My brother in law’s bday is coming up so I made a card for him with the tape. It was a lot of fun. This tape sticks very well to smooth surfaces. I made the card out of card stock printer paper. It adhered very well. You can correct it to, before rubbing it down firmly. It’s pretty sticky, but it doesn’t leave any residue on your fingers. Some of the tapes are more opaque than others. It depends on the darkness of the ink and density of the pattern. You don’t have to worry about the unused rolls getting dusty or dirty before use. They are all individually wrapped inside of the box they arrive in. The box is also reusable to store the tape in.

You can personalize anything that has a smooth surface: pens, pencils, folders, envelopes, wires, cards, calendars, chargers, power banks, laptops, white boards, and so much more. For those of you that make your own small puzzles, this tape can be used to decorate the pieces. Teachers can decorate their boards with it. If you are a scrap booker, you will probably love using this material. They have other sets available as well, with different patterns. It’s pretty easy to work with. If you use a box cutter and a cutting mat, you can cut and design all types of shapes. The tape has no odd odor to it. It’s a very clean, and pleasant material to work with.

Yea, coloring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s fun for both adults and children. Even if you think you don’t like coloring, I bet you still have fun helping your kids, lol. That’s what we adults do. Drawing is fun, whether it be free hand or in one of those new Adult Coloring books going around. This is a set of 24 colored pencils. They used high quality pigments, and it shows when you are drawing. The coverage is great, and they are soft to write with. You can do shading well, hard line drawing well; full spectrum colored pencils. These are water resistant, fade resistant/light resistant. They arrive pre-sharpened and ready to go. Mine sharpen easily as well. I absolutely love how vibrant the colors are. They really make your pictures come alive. My son is 8 and likes the adult coloring books as well. He thinks kids coloring books are too childish for him now. I’m so glad there’s this option for him now. With adult coloring books, you need better quality pencils. The areas to color can be so fine and dainty. You can layer with these and blend. Wait till you use them the first time, you will be so happy with them. I, until recently, have only been using low end pencils, that I buy for my son. I always hated using those. They just do not cover well at all. After moving on up to high quality colored pencils, I can never go back again. I used them years ago in Art School. I am so glad they are back in my life. There is no comparison. My son is now officially spoiled too, lol. Coloring, drawing, creating, is so relaxing. I am so glad there are quality colored pencils like these from Crown Art. The colors are just so vibrant in this set.

I love these knobs. They are so pretty. I have always loved the old glass knobs from the past, so I am so happy to see glass knobs coming back in style. It adds some bling and sparkle into our lives. Everyone needs some sparkle too. These knobs arrived in perfect condition. They are individually wrapped inside their own box, inside of another box. The set of 10 screws will be in a separate little bag. You will get 10 knobs in this set. These are 40mm in diameter glass knobs. The metal base is 25mm in size. These are great for cabinet doors, and drawers. You can also use them to build your own hanging rack for jewelry, clothes, etc.. These are round knobs, and have so many facets cut in them. Mine arrived in perfect condition. They are sooooooooooo pretty! Because of their size, they are extremely easy to grasp and use. The light plays off of the facets in the glass and really makes them shine. The metal base was done in a silver tone, with a high polish chrome shine. The knobs are secured to the base securely. I do not have an issues with mine. The price point is low for 10 knobs like this. They are currently at $20.99 with free Prime shipping. That is a lot less than my local hardware store; almost by half. They are definitely worth ordering.

Color it up with Soucolor’s Premium Colored Pencils.

I love color. So it only makes sense that I like to use colored pencils. I homeschool my son, and nowadays almost all of the curriculum is on the computer. Colored pencils are inspiring and used for fun, but is also helps him with his handwriting skills. This Soucolor pack is a 48 pack of colored pencils. They arrive well sharpened and ready to roll. All of mine arrived in perfect condition as well. They are nontoxic, so your children can use them. These also have a 3.3mm core, and the colors are true. They cover pretty well while drawing. I did not have to go over an area to get coverage. I love the deep and vibrant colors. You can use these anywhere from doodling to art work. Premium pigments were used with these pencils, and you can tell. They write soft, and with easy coverage. The really cool feature to these pencils is that they were made out of reforested quality cedar wood. They have a hexagonal shape to them, and they are comfortable to hold and draw with. You really can’t go wrong with this set.

Archival ink! – Boshi’s Black Office Pens.

We go through a lot of pens in our home. From anywhere from crossword puzzles, to homeschooling, to work. Getting them in larger quantities is key, but sometimes, you just don’t get a quality pen that way. We are really happy with this set. They write very smoothly, and are comfortable to hold and write with. You will get 12 pens in your box. They are black ink gel pens. I was able to write with them, and then run my finger over the words I had just written, with no smudging at all. That actually really surprised me. These are click button pens. Just press the top of the pen in to both begin and stop writing with the pen. These are also refillable ink pens too. The pocket clip is plastic, but it is a pretty tight pocket clip nonetheless. The center of the pen is clear, so you can actually see how much ink you have left. When you first get these pens, you will need to remove a little red plastic cap off the tips of the pens. This was in place to protect them in shipment. It just pops right off. The pen may be plastic, but the tip is made out of stainless steel. It is durable and well made. The lower part of the pen, where you hold it, has a rubber grip on it. This makes it very comfortable to write with. They are currently priced at $13.99 with free prime shipping. That makes it only $1.17 a pen, plus tax. A lot cheaper this way, over buying a pack of two gel pens at the local store. This way you don’t run out as fast either. They state they use archival quality ink. It is acid free, and both waterproof and fade resistant. You can use this to document your family tree, or your precious scrap book memories.
