Ok, who here loves to clean. I know I do, lololol. Well, I love a clean home, and I really don’t mind cleaning. Cleaning is a game of Russian Roulette for me. I have asthma and insane, life threatening allergies. I have frequent anaphylactic reactions. One of my off the chart allergies is dust, and dust mites. Go figure, huh. So, I have to keep on top of cleaning in my home, or I really suffer the consequences. I also have issues with a lot of cleaners as well, both natural and chemical. I am always looking for a healthier way to clean. Both for myself, and my family. I was over the moon when I learned of the company E-Cloth. I had not heard of them before and was blessed with this opportunity to both try out their wonderful, wonderful products, and be able to share about them to others. I was sent a large variety of their cleaning products to try out, and I was sent goodies to give out as well. A win, win for everyone involved.

So, maybe I shouldn’t have told people ahead of time that the party involved cleaning products, lol. I had a lot of people no show. Their loss, these products are pretty amazing! They loved the coupons, sample E-Cloths, and the contest!

These products are created so you can clean with just using water. No chemicals needed with their line of products. Wow!!!!!!!!!! Now you know why I had to see these for myself. This company was founded in 1995. Since they have been around for over 20 years, I had a lot of faith with them, going into this. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. My first impression upon discovering what was in the box, was sheer happiness. Everything appeared to be of great quality. Nothing was cheap or flimsy, at all. This company started in Europe, and per the company, became Europe’s #1 chemical-free cleaning company. They came to the US in 2008. Their product line includes anything from single cloths to value packs, and complete cleaning sets for kitchens, bathrooms, windows, floors, stainless steel, and electronics, and then some. They have something for everyone.

I know what you are thinking. That’s just surface cleaning. I need to disinfect. Well, I personally agree, I’m a clean freak. But, I do not agree that you need heavy chemicals that are bad for you and the environment, every time you clean. That’s if you are a regular cleaner, lol. People have cited actual harm that has come to their children and themselves, from cleaning agents. I think this company offers a great healthy alternative, that truly is needed.

Now, to further prove that these cloths clean well, here’s some scientific proof from the company:
“Fiber Density – Each e-cloth is fabricated to have as many as 3.1 million fiber strands per square inch of cloth. Nearly 500 million fiber strands are in each cloth. e-cloth’s filaments are so small and so strong; using just water they break up, lift, lock in, and clean deep down into the tiniest grooves and crevices. Dust, grease, oils, grime, dirt and bacteria are quickly and easily removed and locked away deep inside the fibers until the cloths are rinsed or washed. Surfaces are cleaned so effectively that there is nowhere left for bacteria to grow. Surfaces are left polished and totally smear and lint free. e-cloths rapidly absorb 7 times their weight in water. In addition, scientific research carried out by world renowned Silliker Group, has proven that e-cloths also remove over 99% of bacteria.”

The key to the cleaning cloths is to wet them thoroughly, then ring the water out. Then you can dry and polish with the polishing cloths. The dusting glove should be enough to dust the whole house, depending on the size and dust level, of course. To remove the dust from the glove, you will need to wash it, afterwards. The Kitchen pads are like any other scrubbing pad. You do not need to use soap though, with them. Have faith in the cloth; science, remember. The Pet Bowl Scrubber is just a scrubber as well, use it as such. I love the dog bone design though; so cute! I love that E-Cloth offers a water atomizer. It works great with their cloths. It is a fine atomized mist. Not overly heavy, which is what you don’t want with windows, mirrors, surfaces, etc.. It delivers just the right amount, which makes cleaning a breeze. These cloths can be thrown in the washer or rinsed thoroughly with hot water. They are pretty durable, well made, and easy to care for.

I have wood floors and tile through the majority of my home. So, I was very excited to try out their Deep Clean Mop. I love it! The handle is aluminum and comes in two parts, which is easy to put together, and take apart for storage. It extends from 34″ to 61″, which accommodates both different cleaning levels, and heights of those who are using it. It is very to maneuver, and use. I love it! The cloth has a 300 wash guarantee. One comes with it. Just add water to clean your hard surface floors. “True Chemical Free Cleaning – Proven to remove over 99% of all bacteria (including e-coli and listeria) from hard flooring surfaces with just water.” This is from their page about the mop. Yay! The mop head Velcro’s on. So, it’s easy to remove to wash, and reapply. You wet the cloth and wring it out, apply to the mop, then clean your flooring. So simple and quick, and I love that!!!!! You are safe to clean these flooring types with this mop: vinyl, bamboo, laminate, stone, ceramic, tile, hardwood, linoleum, and concrete.

After trying out their mop, I moved onto their stainless steel cleaning cloth, and window cleaning cloth. Two items that I thought might be harder to clean, since both surfaces are so finicky. Well, I was quickly proven wrong. The stainless in my kitchen was so clean and shiny after using the cloth. No lint, or streaks left behind, and no muscle put into it. I literally wiped with the damp cloth and dried with the polishing cloth. The windows were no different. No one really enjoys cleaning windows, and I hate using a ton of paper towels, which I always end up doing. I was over the moon happy to be able to clean all my glass surfaces in my dining room and foyer, without any paper towels. Besides my many windows in that room, I have a china hutch and glass front fireplace. The cloth system proved so easy, and insanely efficient in cleaning all of these surfaces. I cannot recommend this set enough, if you can only grab one set.
No one loves dusting, but I think you might love the dusting glove. With it you can clean those dust collectors so easily. The fibers really do cling onto the dust. My family will get to use that. I, unfortunately couldn’t handle the longer fibers with my fabric sensitivities. It is soft and it is perfect for higher end wood finishes and collectibles. You can clean without worry of damaging anything. My son came in 2nd at a National Woodworking Competition with a TV table build. This glove dusted it beautifully, and for once I didn’t have to worry about the finish on the table, lol. I always sweat over that when cleaning it. I did use the glove myself on this table, since it is quick to do. I was thrilled with it. It even went through my washer and dryer, very well.

All of the products have come through as advertised for me. I am both over joyed and relieved. I love knowing I will not be killing a tree every time I clean my windows and glass items. Greater Technology’s GEYUEYA Home Stainless Steel, 2-Tier Dish Drying Rack. It can also make for great kitchen storage, and organization. I love the modern look of this rack. It is two tiered, which seems to be all the rage nowadays. For people with less counter space, going up, really makes sense. You can dry more dishes, or store more dishes, in a much smaller area. It does arrive needing to be assembled, but I didn’t have to consult with my husband, so it’s not that hard, lol. I suggest having two pliers handy, so you can secure the hardware. The pan is included, to rest the rack on. It is a frosted/clear pan. I like the look, and it’s pretty thick and sturdy, too. The Product Dimensions are: 16-1/2″L x 10″W x 14-3/5″H. This rack is made out of 304 Stainless Steel; a great material in the kitchen. There are predrilled holes, and included hardware, in case you want to mount this on your wall. A great option for Tiny Homes, and House Boats.

Great products for your home from Rhino Goods Inc.

Bathroom accessories are not always glamorous. More than not, I am sure you never talk about them with people, and forget to think about them when you are out and about shopping. Nonetheless, they are necessary items in our homes. I came across one company that offers some pretty nice quality items, so I decided to share them on my blog. I had the privilege to test out these products:

What I noticed about each product, was the quality. Everything was well made. Everything was practical in use, and not a frivolous expenditure. Quality materials were used in production. Nothing was unhealthy to breathe in. The shower curtain liner is mildew-resistant non-toxic PEVA. I love that. No horrible, unhealthy smells, like the normal PVC shower curtain liners give out. It has 12 rustproof metal grommets, so it’s easy to hang and use. To top it off this liner even has three magnets and 4 suction cups to help keep it in place. The shower curtain liner measures out at 70” x 71” in size.

The Shower curtain rings are made out o stainless steel. So, you will not have any rust worries with these. We love this style of curtain ring, and have been using them for years. Each ring has 5 stainless balls on them, and they really let you roll the curtain across the pole. They do not catch, or get stuck, they just keep on rolling. They watch have a full closure on them as well, and you never have to worry about your curtain falling off the hook. That is a pet peeve of mine. These are so durable and well made, they should last for years.

The other two items I received are a shower mat, and a kneeling pad. They are both made with great quality. Mine arrived in perfect condition. One of my children’s friends past away by falling in the shower. It really never occurred to me, until that happened, about what a possibility it could be. This one is a neural color, thick, and covered with tiny suction cups. It holds very well, and did not have any odor upon arrival. It measures 29” long x 16” wide, so it’s a pretty good size. Just remember to pull it up and let it dry after each use, to prolong its lifespan. It does have antibacterial properties to it, as well. This bath mat is actually eco-friendly to. “It’s made of Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). This microban material is organic, BPA free, and therefore healthier for your family.” I love that! The kneeling pad, I feel can also be used for bleacher seating. It will not just keep your knees from hurting, but your tushy too, lol. I love the large goldfish design. Mine arrived in perfect condition. Kneeling by the tub can be very, very uncomfortable. I love the size, color, and shape of this pad. It’s fun, and endearing. It can be used for so many applications: bathing a little one, gardening, tiling, and home improvement application where you are kneeling, and scooching around, stadium seating, picnic benches, or any other hard seating surface. It’s covered in a neoprene fabric, which is durable, water resistant, and easy to clean. The underside is done on a thick, vinyl like material. It stays put when you press weight onto it. I thought it would be slippery, but I tried it on smooth flooring, in different tests, and it stays put with weight pressing down on it, even just one foot. It has a nylon webbing carry handle. It has a Velcro closure on it, so you could strap it to your towel rack, or stroller, if needed. This mat measures out at 13 ½” long and 12 ½” wide. It’s really cute!

Overall, I am really happy with this company’s products. They are made to be healthier for you, and to last. They are also competitively priced.

These are spoontacular! – Hiware’s 12-piece 18/10 Stainless Steel Teaspoon

In my home, small forks and spoons seem to disappear all by themselves, lol. I swear, when my boys were younger, when they threw out the trash from their plates, they threw out their cutlery as well. Also, now that one son is older, but lives at home, and my husband, both work on the road. They bring a lot of food with them. Sometimes, the cutlery takes their sweet time coming back home, lol. I never need additional tableware sets, but it’s nice to have extra spoons and forks.

I especially need extra spoons. Since I have such a unique diet, because of my insane food allergies, I use spoons a lot. I eat a lot of organic Greek yogurt, and you need a spoon to do so. So, I hate seeing a shortage in my drawer when I go to get one. It is so annoying.

That, and when you have company over, you always need extra spoons. When coffee is served, and when dessert is served, you give them a spoon. So, when I saw this set of 12 teaspoons, I was thrilled. I am so glad they arrived as nice as they looked online. I hate when you think something is going to be a nice quality, and it arrives as a piece of junk. Money does not grow on trees, and I hate feeling like I was ripped off. These spoons are a little larger than the teaspoons I have now, but not as large as our regular spoons but they are close. I like that they are this size; it makes them highly usable across the board. They are constructed out of 18/10 Stainless steel. They didn’t skimp on materials, either. For me, they are not bendy, but for a man on a mission, I’m sure he could bend the spoons in half, lol. Regular usage, not bendy, and that’s the important part. The look is minimalist. There is beauty in simplicity, and it works for these spoons. It also lets them be used with your regular tableware set. I would not feel funny at all about serving a coffee with one of these spoons, while they had used my regular set with their dinner. These spoons measure out at 6 ¾”, so a very good size. Overall, I am thrilled with these spoons. They are definitely the answer to my spoon problem. Their quality is wonderful, and I have no complaints.

A perfect home accessory. – Votamuta’s Tissue Roll Hanger Wall Mount Contemporary Style, Brushed Finish

It’s not always convenient to mount a product to your walls. For some reason the tp holder in my mom’s room keeps getting pulled out of the wall. I think it’s the area on the wall, It’s next to her walk in closet, and there are no direst studs in that area, and we are using wall anchors. Even if she just hits it with her knee, it’s coming off. I recently bought her one like this, and it works so much better. Now, some people aren’t handy, or have tiled walls, and don’t or can’t attach product that involve drilling. So, again, this peel and stick product is perfect. The entire back plate is covered with a thick, double sided sticky adhesive tape. (The tape is 3 ¼” x 1 5/8^th”.) It mounts, and stays. Make sure you are level prior to mounting it. Take out your level, and dry a small line, where you want to place it, and then place it on the line. It’s not moving once put in place. Make sure the area is nice and clean and dry before mounting it also, for longer adherence. This item is very sturdy. It is made better than the one I had bought my mom. The material is rust proof T-304 stainless steel. And pretty thick as well. There is a slight upswing of the arm, to then end of the arm. This, I’m sure, is to make sure your tp roll stays put, while in use. There is a ½” arm that sticks up to also make sure it does. I have no issues. We use the big TP Scott roll, and it fits on this perfectly. This is a great one for tight spaces as well, since it only protrudes out as for as your toilet paper roll, lol. The holders’ measurements are: 5 ¼” x 3 7/8^th” in size. Even though it is stainless steel it has a great brushed finish, and looks great paired with brushed nickel finishes. This product can also be used with dish towels/hand towels. I am using mine for my kitchen dish towel. I do not want to hang a towel for my door, so I hung this on the side of the cabinet that faces my sink. I love it there, since it lies so flat, and holds the towel perfectly. This is a very handy and useful piece. I’m so glad it’s well made and easy to mount as well.

Bathroom Style. – Stainless Steel Mason Jar Toothbrush Holder by Nicole-Rhea.

Anything mason jar is all the rage right now. It’s a classic that keeps coming back. It has made its’ way into all the rooms of our homes, ranging from cups, storage, candle holders, and now, toothbrush holders. This toothbrush holder from Nicole-Rhea is so cute. It is really a mason jar, with a retro fit top on it to accommodate 4 tooth brushes. It is a standard size 16oz Mason Jar, and will fit up to 4 standard sized toothbrushes. If you had an electric one, you would have to unscrew the top off of it. I normally use an OralB toothbrush, and those fit in through the top, perfectly. This is glass, so make sure you have a secure place on your countertop to place it. Glass is the last thing you want breaking in your bathroom. The top of this jar is made out of 304 stainless steel. It should not rust on you. My top was made really well. The holes can be sharp, so this will not be good with little children. We know how much they love to shove their fingers into everything. The top is threaded well also. I have no issues removing it and putting it back on. If you have a smaller countertop/bathroom, this is nice to have. Since it’s clear, it visually takes up less space, and looks nice and fresh in the space, as well. It arrives with jute cord wrapped around the top if the jar. It’s easily replaceable, as needed. Since it is in the bathroom, you’ll need to clean this jar frequently. It may end up needing replacement. You can attach any type of cord, ribbon, or more jute of your choice. I like how you can change the look around the holidays. For example: Christmas ribbon around Christmas. Birthday ribbon around someone’s birthday. You have Halloween, Thanksgiving, Easter, Veteran’s day, and so much more. You can even just color coordinate it to your bathroom décor. My favorite part of the jar, is where it says made in the USA. I always love seeing that. Since it is part of the glass, it can never be removed, too. You can use this for other reasons too. If you think outside of the box, you can use this for your special pens on your desk, or as a bud vase as well. It comes nicely packaged. Unfortunately, my box was opened up inside the box Amazon shipped it in. But, that was not the fault of the company. Overall, it’s a well-made product, and functions beautifully as well.

Time for a cold one. – Buy Chiefs’ Stainless Steel Beer Bottle Koozie Insulator Twin Pack

We have become fans of the stainless steel tumblers on the market, and use them daily. Stainless Steel is such a durable material. It does not rust. It does not naturally harbor fungus, bacteria, and mold. That is why its’ the material of choice in professional kitchens. I am so happy to see the market expanding. If we buy specialty drinks or beer, they normally come in glass bottles. Drinks taste pretty darn good out of the glass bottles too. So, we were very happy to see this set. It is fantastic. Just unscrew the bottom of the container, and slide your bottle in, and close it up. This set is amazing. It has a screw top for the top to keep out nature debris, and bugs, and then the bottom opening, to place your drink into it. This set is a 2 pack. In it you get: 2 Stainless Steel Bottle Holders, 2 Stainless Steel Bottle Openers, and 2 Neoprene bottle sleeves, along with an ebook on brewing beer. You really can’t beat it. These koozies are insulated. They have a neoprene liner, and the bottom cap, also has a neoprene liner in it. This also helps keep the bottle seated, quietly in the koozie. I love that they added a neoprene external sleeve, to put the stainless bottle holder in. Each neoprene sleeve has a stainless steel bottle opener attached to it too. This is the ultimate holder for parties/bbqs outside in the summer. This set up definitely helps keep your drink colder, longer! I had an unopened bottle stay cold for 10 hours in this set up. And that external holder, makes it so easy to hold onto them as well. Since they attached the bottle opener to the holder, you also always have that handy as well. It really is a well thought out set. So far, I haven’t noticed any problems with the threading on the bottom opening. Could they improve on it, yes they can. But, it is working well so far. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It’s a great, and highly useful set. Perfect for gift giving.

Pizza time!!!!!!! – Checkered Chef’s Stainless Steel Pizza Peel With Folding Handle.

We love to make homemade pizza in our home. I have insane food allergies, and we really can’t make frozen pizzas or even, takeout pizza, in our home. If we do not do homemade, we really have no other pizza we can eat. Fortunately, I make a mean sauce, lol. Making homemade pizza is such a great option. We ordered bulk, organic, non GMO flour, and we can really make a healthy pizza for our family. I feel so much better being able to purchase healthy ingredients, and making a yummy, but good for your product. Eating pizza doesn’t have to be an unhealthy choice, just a yummy choice. I have had a pizza peel on my wish list for a long time. I had a wood one in the past, but I really wanted a stainless one. You can use this in any type of oven, and even on pizza cooked on your grill. This pizza peel does measure out at 9 ½” wide and 13” long. The handle extends for use, and folds in for easy, easy storage. With the handle fully extended, it is 22” long. All you have to do is open the handle, and slide the stainless steel ring down over the handle to lock it in to place, and slide it up to fold the handles back in; so easy. It really is a clever design. To top it off, even with the non stainless handle, it is still quite dishwasher safe. The handle is very, very sturdy, and comfortable to hold and manipulate. It has a soft, rubberized coating on it, making it making it easy to hold onto. It doesn’t get hot to the touch, so you do not need to use a pot holder with it either. They call it their Comfort Grip Rubber Handle. It lives up to its name.

Even if you are not using the peel to take the pizza out of the oven, it is fantastic for separating the pizza from my stone. No matter what I put down on my stone, I always have my crust stick to it a little. This is so much better for that. I can remove it from the stone without cutting up the crust, just using a spatula. With a peel, you can turn or remove large items on a grill. Remove pies from your oven, or fresh breads you throw in the oven to heat up, and more. If you are short like me, you can use this to help reach into the oven and pull things to the front of the oven. I have burned myself more than once, removing a hot dish from the oven. You can grab the underside of a dish with this and pull it right to the edge, making it really easy to grab. This pizza wheel is very sturdy, and a solid piece of stainless steel. It is not bendy in the least. I really can’t say enough positive about it. It really is a great add to the kitchen.

If you like to entertain, or enjoy your coffee and tea, then you might really enjoy this Stainless Steel Carafe from Quality of Life. It can also be used to keep cold drinks cold, longer too. This is a 68oz carafe. It is pretty easy to fill, and will help keep your beverage hot, a lot longer. Aesthetically, I think this is a gorgeous piece. It is very sleek, and modern looking, while still holding a traditional flare, in case you like to have the ladies over for tea. It is made out of 18/10 Stainless Steel, and has double wall construction for an insulation factor. It not only is double walled, but there is also a vacuum seal, which creates the great insulation factor everyone is getting to know and love with the Yeti Tumbler. This Carafe is very well made. Mine has no imperfections, and feels quite solid in hand. When you close the lid, just double check to make sure it’s pushed down all the way, to ensure the utmost insulation of your beverage temperature. The opening is large enough for me to pour boiling water into it from my kettle. I was concerned about the size at first, but I had no issues the first time I tried it. I tried it while holding a camera in one hand, so I could film it, lol, and the boiling hot water in the kettle, in my other hand. If I can pour the water into the carafe like this, successfully, and without a stray drip, then anyone can. Now, even though it is double walled, it still gets hot to the touch when you fill it with hot water. It doesn’t get hot enough to burn you, but it still gets hot. The handle stays cool to the touch though, so that is all that matters. The bottom doesn’t get hot either, so you can place it down on the table. About 2 ½ hours after I filled it with boiling hot water, the carafe was getting cooler on the outside, and the top portion was still a little hot to the touch. It really retains its heat. I was happy to see that this carafe is actually dishwasher safe. I wasn’t sure because of the seal, but it is. It is definitely restaurant quality too. I hand wash everything, and it’s easy to reach down into the bottom of this product, with a bottle brush. Stainless doesn’t naturally harbor fungus, bacteria, or mold, so it’s a great material to be used in the kitchen/food environment. Now, I did a long term test on the carafe with hot water. It is great for casual dining, and entertaining. It will not by any means keep your water hot, like coffee or tea hot, for a long span. I let it sit for 7 hours, with never opening it up. The water was tepid at that point, and I had to microwave it in my coffee cup, to make a cup of tea. I think it’s perfect for social entertaining. You can get your coffee, or tea, or pitcher of cold drinks ready, and be able to set the table and sit down and enjoy with your friends and family. It’s perfect for that.

A formidable opponent in the tumbler industry. – Greatness Lines’ 30 oz. Tumblers Value Pack.

Here is another cup that has entered the Stainless tumbler arena. I like how strong it came out to the market. It arrived with all the bells and whistles. I have the original 30oz Yeti Tumbler, and I love it. We also have quite a few of the competitors now, lol. Let me tell you, I compare them all to the Yeti, and against each other. I am very picky now, and demand that my ice not melt quickly. I always have a glass filled to the top with ice, and then I add my drink. With my constant anaphylactic reactions, I always have a swollen and raw throat. An icy drink all day, and I mean 24/7, really helps. So, I do not hold back if the cup doesn’t live up to my expectations. I am very, very happy to say, that this cup does indeed, keep my ice, ice, for a long time. I can take my cup, fill it with ice to the top, pour in room temperature soda, and then sip on it, like I usually do. When I go to refill it, I only have to add a couple cubes to keep it filled to the top with ice, lol. The cup measures out at 4” in diameter, at the top, and 8” tall to the top of the lid. It is just slightly more narrow at the top than my Yeti. I have a black carry handle, and it fits this tumbler by Greatness Line, but it just fits. It slides up to almost the top of the cup. But, the accessory is still quite usable and I am using it. Leaving my cup sit over night with ice and water, I still had a lot of ice left in the cup in the morning. It really works like my Yeti, so I am very happy with it. It’s made well. The tops seal very well. I love the straw and extra top that come with the cup. The stainless steel straw is thick and durable and long enough to really fit the cup. The diameter is large enough too, for a smoothie. The You can never really feel the temp of the drink inside of it, when holding it. It is always a comfortable temperature to hold. It is made out of 18/8 stainless steel. It will fit into my cup holders in my Honda. I’m sure due to the size, it might not fit into some. I have large cup holders in mine, fortunately. I really like everything about this complete set. You really can’t beat the price it’s at. Currently it’s at $19.95 for everything, which is great. It’s a formidable opponent in the tumbler arena.
