I love jewelry. I believe every girl needs some sparkle in their lives, and jewelry really adds that something special to your day and to your outfit. I am not leaving men out by any means. My guys also love to wear their rings, bracelets, and chains. This company, Sashkaco, makes the most beautiful beaded bracelets. They are absolutely gorgeous. The workmanship is incredible. The bracelets are made out of glass beads by artisans in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. They truly are amazing. They are most definitely the best beaded bracelets I have ever come across. Not only are they made in Nepal, but they are handcrafted as well. These are real artists. The beading is so smooth against your skin, which makes them so comfortable to wear. The beading is so tight as well, which is really impressive. By the time they are done, these bracelets are rounded off. They are not the stretchy kind, where you have to worry about the band snapping, and losing all your beads. I have had that happen more than once in my past. These are the type of bracelets that you roll on. They are very easy to roll on and off, too.

I received three bracelets. They look very similar, but they are all slightly different. Each bracelet has a white, glass bead, base, along with some silver beading. One has a solid stripe that covers about a third of the bracelet. Another has what I refer to as a candy cane stripe effect. Lastly, the third one has a fun pattern that encircles the bracelet. They offer, on their website, bracelets in sets, solids, and patterned singles. They have so many different colors, and designs available. You may end up finding you want them all. They offer free shipping worldwide too, so getting them all may be feasible, lol. If you are ordering from another country, they have options to pay in different currencies. In regards to fit, I really didn’t see any size options available, just the one size. I wear a regular size 7 bracelet, and it is normally a flowy look for me. I do not wear a lot of snug bracelets. These bracelets fit me very well. Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with both the shop and the product. My bracelets arrived in perfect condition, and they are absolutely gorgeous.

Time to relax. – JD Gems’ 6inch 8-9Lbs Himalayan Salt Lamp.

I am a fan of Himalayan Salt lamps. I have one that is the traditional shape, that I have seen over the years. My mom has had them for years now, and I was first introduced to them by her. I love this globe design. It is so different from what I am used to seeing, and brings a more modern flare to the scene. It is such a relaxing feature to have in home. It is not just an accent light, or night light. It helps soothe the room by causing a more relaxing atmosphere. This light is actually healthy for you as well. It is made out of Himalayan Salt. When it is warmed up by the bulb, it helps to clean and purify the air around it. In a large room, it will only get the air circulated in that area. This particular lamp is effective for a 50-80sf room. The bulb included is a regular nightlight type bulb, 25watts. So, replacing the bulb will be easy to do. The power control switch is right on the cord too. This light plugs into a regular plug, and it is just a 2 prong plug too. So, if you needed to use an extension cord, you can. The power switch is also a dimmer switch. I like being able to dim the light. I absolutely love the soft glow of this light. It really is soothing to have in the room. It’s a nice, soft glow; simply beautiful. The base on this lamp is a stained dark brown wood platform. It sits very securely on the table. Remember, this is made out of real Himalayan salt. It will not tolerate moisture or humidity, and will start to break down. So, no windows open in the room. Do not clean it with a damp cloth either. Keep it in a nice, dry place. My mom forgot about this once, with her lamp, and it started breaking apart. So, we learned this lesson the hard way. Overall, this is such a pretty light. Mine was well made, and functions as it should. It’s really pretty.

A meeting of the minds with Tryazons’ SmartGamesUSA party.

I am so excited to be a part of the Tryazon SmartGames Party. I am 100% a family oriented person. My kids are my world, and will always be, no matter what the age. We have been playing games together, and with friends, for as long as I can remember. Everything has become so electronic oriented, though, and it is harder to stay connected because of that. That’s why I really love, we really love, board games, hands on games. These three games from Smart Games are not only fun, but they are also exercise for the brain. That is suggested for all ages now, too. No matter how old we get, we need to exercise our games, and the best way to do that is with games. The games that were sent to us to try out and experience are:

• 2 sets of Ghost Hunters

These games are slated for 1 player each, so it’s great to have more than one, so you can compete and challenge each other, if so desired. Games like this are great for large and small families. A child can keep themselves occupied by themselves this way too. Which is great for my youngest! We had a lot of laughs, and silliness throughout the party. It was a lot of fun. My favorite comment of them all, at the end is: “Wow, that was a lot more fun than I thought it would be.”

IQ XOXO is a game that entails challenges. You are given a booklet of challenges that you need to complete. There are 120 challenges too. Each board consists of 10 puzzle pieces that fit into a built-in grid on the game board. The pieces are solid plastic and highly durable, and everything is self-contained in a small plastic container, for storage. This is a 1 player games slated for children ages 6 through adulthood. My son really like this game. This one is pretty neat. The pieces are nice vibrant colors. You have to fit them into the matching sequence as shown in the puzzles. It’s actually very fun, and enjoyable to do. My son loved the pieces. Probably because they reminded him a lit bit of Legos, lol.

BUSY BUGS is a 1 player game for ages 7 through adulthood. It is also self-contained game, in a book like form, which snaps shut. There are 4 magnetic game pieces that you move around the magnetic board to solve/match up to the many, many challenges set up in this book. There are 48 to be exact. They can be redone, and redone, too. By the time you work your way through, the first one will again be a challenge. The further up you move in the numbers, the more challenging it becomes, too. This is a great one for traveling, and for sitting on the couch, because it can be done on your lap. It really doesn’t get more convenient than this one. There is even answer pages in the back of each puzzle section. Don’t look until you’re done, or you’ll just be cheating yourself.

GHOST HUNTERS is also a 1 player game for ages for ages 6 through adulthood. I love the name of this game, and was drawn to it immediately. This one was my first choice. There are 60 challenges to this game. The challenges, or puzzles, are printed in a foldout pamphlet. I am going to cut the pages apart and laminate them, eventually, so they last longer. You need the puzzles to last, since they are integral to the game. The bottom half of the board opens up to reveal the other game boards, that rest on the top half of the unit. After you place your chosen game board on the platform, you have 6 hard plastic games pieces that cover the board. You will need to find the coordinating puzzle challenge that matches your chosen game board. You need to move them around to reveal the ghosts as shown in your current challenge. I love everything that is Halloween, so I love the game boards, lol.

These games are great to boost and strengthen your cognitive skills and abilities. It’s great for kids, because they don’t even know that they are doing this. It’s just fun for them. The colors, and designs are fun, and engaging. From what I have seen, this applies to all ages. Most brain games for adults are boring to look at, and it’s easy to lose interest. I have been enjoying this set as much as my son. His favorite is different from mine, and it’s fun to see who can do the challenges faster. Overall, these games are well thought out and put together. They most definitely can be used from child through adulthood. They can be used solely, or as entertainment in a group environment. You can create a game/event, where you have to complete a challenge to move on to the next event. That would be fun at birthday parties, rainy days, and more. These have really been an enjoyable set of games. I was very pleasantly surprised, and I am truly glad I was able to share them with you.

Holiday decorating with ease! – PADEK’s 10PCS Pattern Lens Projection Light.

I love laser projectors. Last season was the first time I was lucky enough to use one. We all loved it so much. My mom is actually looking forward to using it this year. She has been talking about it since the Fall season hit. I love that. It really brings a level of happiness and excitement to the coming holidays. The light we already had is just the red and green colors. This light brings a whole different pattern to the game. It also has 10 different patterns to choose from. When my laser projector arrived, it already had one slide installed, and there were 9 other in the package to choose from. Also in the package was the 2 prong AC adapter to attach for power, and an information sheet. No real instruction sheet was included, and it arrives in no frill, mail order packaging. Fortunately, the light is a lot of fun! The slide already inserted upon arrival is the snowflake slide, but these are the slides that are supposed to come with this projector light: heart shape, snowflake, clover, high heel, pigeon, skeleton, maple leaf, birthday cake, Santa, Christmas tree, butterfly, and star. That is not actually what arrives. In my set, I have: 1 snowflake slide, 3 Christmas themed slides, 3 Halloween themed slides, 1 hearts design slide, 1 stars and moon designs slide, and 1 winter themed slide with wine glasses and what looks like Christmas candles. This one could be good for New Years. When on, the shapes slowly move around in circular patterns. It runs silent, which is awesome! I hate noisy products. I even like silent clocks, lol. This is a laser product, so remember when setting it up, to not look directly into the light. Make sure your kids know this as well. Now, on the top of the laser projector you will see two screws. Get out a regular sized Phillips Head screwdriver, and open this area up. This is where you change out the slides. I guessed, and I was right the first time; yea! One issue I have, is not all the shapes move around in an upright position. The hearts are pretty much sideways, but still pretty cute. My 9 year old still really loves it, and that is what matters to me the most. The LED lights that display with the shapes is always a mix of red, white, green, and blue. This unit has an IP44 waterproof rating. I can handle the weather, but not being submersed. After you change out the slide, make sure the silicone o ring is placed back correctly. Now, the plug connection is not at all waterproof. That is completely up to you. Last year I wrapped my whole plug assembly in gaffers tape, lol. It worked perfectly for me. This unit is said to be able to cover up to 2100sq ft. at 15 ft. away. I really can’t measure that out. My home is on stilts, since I live by the coast. It however would work well for a two-story home, and if you had a ranch, I would suggest one for each side. It would not cover the whole front, unless you had a small ranch with no attached garage. You can use the light indoors or outdoors. The stake screws onto the bottom, so just don’t attach it to hang mount it or for table top usage. Overall, I am very happy this light has heart, and Halloween themes, instead of just Christmas, like a lot of lights have. This light is newer to me, but so far it is running very well for me.

Everyone loves jewelry, even if they don’t want to admit it. Young boys wear cool chains and bracelets all the time; my boys did. Men wear jewelry. Women wear jewelry. People even buy jewelry for their pets. This pretty set is a set of 6 chokers from Dream Catcher Fashions. They are a mix of stretchy ones, and non-stretchy ones. The ones that aren’t stretchy have extenders on them to make sure they will fit a large variety of sizes. (“5 Pcs 12.6 inches+2 inches Extender and 1 Pcs 12.6 inches”) The materials also vary in this set. Some are soft and velvety, and others are a thin stretchy plastic, to soft fabric materials. Two have charms that dangle: 1 cross, 1 Yin and Yang symbol. They’re are really, and offer a variety of looks. You can really change the mood of an outfit with a choker. They are great in the colder months, when most people wear higher necklines. That way your jewelry still shows and shines. The clasps on the ones that have them, are lobster claw clasps, and easy to do on your own. They are pretty comfortable on. I did have to use the extensions on the ones that have them. The other ones were comfortable too, since they are stretchy. My set arrived in perfect condition, and each choker was wrapped individually, in case you want to break up the set as gifts. I really like how they included a velvet drawstring storage bag to save them in. It makes storing them a lot easier. Overall, these are well made, pretty, and comfortable to wear. It’s a fun set.

From Work light to Holiday Décor, this light can do the job! – LOFTEKs’ 50W LED Flood Light, and RGB Light.

LED lighting has been a saving grace in the lighting industry. It is a healthier choice, a greener choice, and an economical choice, as well. I have had the pleasure of being able to test this light out. It is a 50W LED floodlight from Loftek. It comes with a REMOTE! Love that. Remotes do make everything better. This is not only a work light though. It also has RGB possibilities to it too. So, this light is also great to dress up holidays setups, and sets, for stages and shows. With the remote you can set a timer for it to run a certain number of hours: 3, 6, 9, or 12 hours. The light is very receptive to the remote, too. It’s a breeze and a pleasure to use. This light is rated for 50,000 hours of light, and is quite weatherproof and dust proof as well, with its’ IP66 rating. The construction appears very solid. They even offer a diagram on their site to show you how it was put together. They used double O rings, an aluminum reflective plate, tempered glass, and a die cast aluminum frame, in this lights’ construction. You can both stand this light up, or hang it, as needed. It comes with a bolt to hang it, and it has a large handle that can be used for both positions. I’m really happy with how sturdy and well-built this light is.

Now, this work light has a 3-prong plug on it, and runs off of regular 110 power. It is stated to be able to run off the following input, though: AC 85V–265V. When you plug this light in, it comes on in a color, not the white light. So, make sure you do not lose the remote, lol. Although, it does have memory retention. So, if you have it o the white light when you turn it off, it will come back on in the white light. This feature is very handy. But, do not do what I did, and look at the light when you change it to the bright white light. I saw stars for such a long time, after that. This light has so many fun features. It has a total 16 color and 4 light modes (Flash / Strobe / Fade / Smooth). You can even dim the light down, as needed. It only goes so low though, so keep that in mind with this feature. Here are their instructions for using the timer feature:

“For example: Press button “3h” (light will flash twice) and then press “Enter” (light will flash twice again), it will start to count down and automatically turn off after 3 hours. If you want to stop the timer setting, press “Exit” and it will stop count down.”

It really does not come with its’ own thorough instruction booklet, but everything else is self-explanatory. The remote works distance wise, like a lot of Bluetooth devices. You really need to be within 30ft of this light for it to work, and in view, obviously. Overall, this light is pretty great. It really makes for a fun decorative light, as well as a solid work light. The white light is a bright cool white light. I do not know the actual rating for it though. The light angle it throws is about 120 degrees. This is the stated lumen count for the lights: “Output Lumen: Red 640-800LM ; Green 960-1120LM ; Blue 240-400LM ; White Triad light, no lumen value.” No clue why they didn’t state a lmen value for the white light.

I cannot wait for the different holidays now, like Christmas, and Halloween, especially. You can really have a lot of fun with this light, lighting up a spooky scene, or a beautiful Christmas scene. The different light options really give this light a lot of usability, and the quality will ensure that it lasts. I really like this product.

Get tricky with it! – Gifts and Gadgets Onlines’ Gift Card Maze by TechTools.

I have seen advertisements for maze boxes over the years, in magazines. I have always been very intrigued by them, but have never pulled the trigger on ordering one. I give gift cards every year as gifts, and they really aren’t any fun to buy. This baby brings the enjoyment up a notch for the buyer, lol. Maybe not so much for the receiver, haha. This maze box from Gifts and Gadgets Online is pretty cool. I love that it’s see through, and made out of pretty durable plastic. This should be reusable as long as no one pries open the door. It measures out at 5 ½” long x 3 3/8^th” wide x just over ½” thick. It works like any other ball maze. You need to move the metal ball through the maze, until it lands over the slide. When the ball is there, you push the slide firmly over, and it pops the door open. The first time I tried it, I gently slid the slide over, and nothing happened. I then pushed the slide firmly over, and the ball moved and the door popped open. It was a Eureka moment, if I may say so myself! This maze comes with a snowman card in the slot. It’s pretty cute. This will fit any regular sized gift card perfectly. It will also fit cold hard cash as well. I am so excited about using this, this holiday season. For once, a gift card will be a lot of fun to give!

The best storage solution for my SUV. – Kodiak Autos’ 2 in 1 Backseat Car Trunk Organizer.

I drive an SUV. I love this type of car, but I have never loved how cluttered the back of the car can get. Everything just slides around, and containers can topple over, spilling their contents. Unless you leave the back of your SUV empty, it always looks messy, too. I own and use car organizers, but they never keep things handy or neat. Until this one, that is. I really love this car organizer. We always have extra tissues and movies in or car. My son has a constant runny nose, and hates being in a car. So, we always play a movie, or have him on his tablet. Our lives are better this way, lol. This organizer is the first I have personally seen that not only spans the back seat, but has actual deep pockets, not just flat expandable pockets. My husband has used the flat style before, in his pickup, to organize work papers, but even he really likes this design a lot better. In this organizer from Kodiak Auto, there are 3 pockets with Velcro closures, and one open pocket. The open pocket can fit a large sized water bottle, if needed, and that includes a 2L bottle of soda, lol. Two of the pockets with the flap closure are the same size, and can actually fit a large sized tissue box. The other pocket is much larger, and about double the size of the other two pockets. We fit a ton of movies into this pocket. It is so nice that my son can lean over a pick a new movie out, when we are parked. I don’t have to get out and go to the back of the car anymore! I am loving that. The same thing for tissues, when he runs out. He also never reminds me that he is running out of tissues until we are driving down the road, lol. Now, I always carry an extra full box with me. You can so much into these pockets, and keep your vehicle more organized and cleaner looking. I’s a wonderful thing for both Trucks and SUVs. It can also be used in cars too, though.

The organizer is 36” long, 10” all, and the pockets are 4 ½” deep. It has two nylon webbing straps with plastic buckle closures. They are easily adjustable, like backpack straps. Just place each end around your headrest, and tighten them in place. So, easy and quick to install. It doesn’t bounce around against your seat either. There is a Velcro strip that runs along the back of it. This helps keep the bag still on most seats, anyhow. The bag is constructed out of a thick and durable 600D polyester material. It is just like thick backpack material. Mine arrived with no odor to it. It was in perfect condition, and the stitching was all done very well. This should last for a long while. I am truly very thrilled with this organizer. It pretty much is the answer to my car organizing dreams.

Bathroom accessories are not always glamorous. More than not, I am sure you never talk about them with people, and forget to think about them when you are out and about shopping. Nonetheless, they are necessary items in our homes. I came across one company that offers some pretty nice quality items, so I decided to share them on my blog. I had the privilege to test out these products:

1. Premium Bath Tub Mat – Non-Slip & Anti-Bacterial with suction cups – 29 x 16 in. long, White.

2. Sammy Tub Side Bath Kneeler & Garden Kneeling Pad with Hook: Orange.

3. Clean Healthy Living 70×71-Inch PEVA Shower Curtain Liner, White.

4. Clean Healthy Living Roller Shower Curtain Rings – Polished Stainless Steel.

What I noticed about each product, was the quality. Everything was well made. Everything was practical in use, and not a frivolous expenditure. Quality materials were used in production. Nothing was unhealthy to breathe in. The shower curtain liner is mildew-resistant non-toxic PEVA. I love that. No horrible, unhealthy smells, like the normal PVC shower curtain liners give out. It has 12 rustproof metal grommets, so it’s easy to hang and use. To top it off this liner even has three magnets and 4 suction cups to help keep it in place. The shower curtain liner measures out at 70” x 71” in size.

The Shower curtain rings are made out o stainless steel. So, you will not have any rust worries with these. We love this style of curtain ring, and have been using them for years. Each ring has 5 stainless balls on them, and they really let you roll the curtain across the pole. They do not catch, or get stuck, they just keep on rolling. They watch have a full closure on them as well, and you never have to worry about your curtain falling off the hook. That is a pet peeve of mine. These are so durable and well made, they should last for years.

The other two items I received are a shower mat, and a kneeling pad. They are both made with great quality. Mine arrived in perfect condition. One of my children’s friends past away by falling in the shower. It really never occurred to me, until that happened, about what a possibility it could be. This one is a neural color, thick, and covered with tiny suction cups. It holds very well, and did not have any odor upon arrival. It measures 29” long x 16” wide, so it’s a pretty good size. Just remember to pull it up and let it dry after each use, to prolong its lifespan. It does have antibacterial properties to it, as well. This bath mat is actually eco-friendly to. “It’s made of Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). This microban material is organic, BPA free, and therefore healthier for your family.” I love that! The kneeling pad, I feel can also be used for bleacher seating. It will not just keep your knees from hurting, but your tushy too, lol. I love the large goldfish design. Mine arrived in perfect condition. Kneeling by the tub can be very, very uncomfortable. I love the size, color, and shape of this pad. It’s fun, and endearing. It can be used for so many applications: bathing a little one, gardening, tiling, and home improvement application where you are kneeling, and scooching around, stadium seating, picnic benches, or any other hard seating surface. It’s covered in a neoprene fabric, which is durable, water resistant, and easy to clean. The underside is done on a thick, vinyl like material. It stays put when you press weight onto it. I thought it would be slippery, but I tried it on smooth flooring, in different tests, and it stays put with weight pressing down on it, even just one foot. It has a nylon webbing carry handle. It has a Velcro closure on it, so you could strap it to your towel rack, or stroller, if needed. This mat measures out at 13 ½” long and 12 ½” wide. It’s really cute!
