For the director in you. – Quintumnia’s JoyPlus 360 Degree Spherical Panorama Action Camera.

If you are looking to take fun photos and videos, then you are going to love this camera. It is a blast. I was so intrigued by it, that I am thrilled I was able to test it out. It is unlike any other camera I have tried. I have the Polaroid cube, and a couple Go Pro copy cats, as well as other cameras. I even recently tested the new Polaroid snap. So, this camera was still like no other. It is a lot of fun. The clarity is fantastic and the audio pick up on it is pretty strong as well. This sphere has its own Wi-Fi and its own app. The best part is, is that it works. It works well too, and with no hitches, lol. Don’t even try to scan the QR scan printed in the direction pamphlet. They did it in a yellow ink, and neither my phone or my husband’s phone, could pick it up. Just go to your Google Playstore and look for DETU Camera. It comes up right away, and it’s free to Download for Android. I do not know about IOS. I only tested this camera out with Android. You can operate the camera without the app, but you are restricted and can’t see what you are taping or taking pictures of, until you check the micro SD card.

In your camera kit you will get: 1 camera, 1 instruction booklet, 1 micro USB charging cord, 1 velvet drawstring storage bag, and 1 16gb micro SD card.

I love how they include the micro SD card. This camera will accept a micro SD card up to 32gb. Only use a micro SD card that is a class 10 or higher. Otherwise the movie quality will not be there. On the underside of the camera you will find the port for the micro SD card and micro USB cord. There is also a port for a small HDMI cord. Also on the back is the port to attach your own tripod; it’s nicely threaded. On the top side of the camera you will find the Power button, Wi-Fi button, Shutter button, and the Mode button. Fun fact, you can play with the camera while it’s plugged in charging. They do highly suggest charging this camera in a 1A port, or use what I did, a Smart Charger. It has an internal 1000mAh battery. The charge lasted for about 30 min. of video recording time before it started to let us know, low battery, on our app. Since it has a Wi-FI button, and you can connect it to your tablet and phone, it’s easy to share your fun memories to social media. To connect to the Wi-Fi, you will need to insert a code the first time out. It is 12345678. This camera has so many wild modes: Fish Eye, Panorama, Planet, Hemisphere, or VR mode. Yes, it even has VR mode. How wild is that!!!!! I am so glad I have a pair of VR glasses too. I was like a little kid in a candy store when I saw that. You can take photos in all these modes as well. It doesn’t have to just be videos. You can do all of this from the app. It’s so easy to do. You can even play with your screen on your phone. It doesn’t get incorporated into what you are filming though. You can twist and turn it, and make it spin. It’s fun to do. My youngest son was having a lot of fun with that. This camera is 1.69” wide x 1.97” tall x 1.97” long. It’s a very user friendly size. It only weighs 2.7oz as well. This would be a fun camera to go hiking with. We love everything about this camera. The modes are fun to use, and the clarity is great. The app actually works very well, and it is so responsive and easy to use at any skill level.

Hot coffee to go. -HappyGo’s Stainless Steel Thermos.

My guys live and breathe on the road for work. Coffee is most definitely one of their staples. This thermos is so cool too. We are thrilled with how HappyGo set up their thermos. It not only is a thermos, but it is also your travel mug. The lid is a little different to open. It looks like you would press a button, and it would pop up, but it doesn’t. There’s a little lever you have to move out of the way, and then you can press and open the lid. So, on the positive side, you will not accidently open this up and spill it. The seal is pretty good as well. It was well done overall. This is a 16oz thermos travel mug. We bought it in black, but they also have it in white, which is a refreshing color. There is a great mouthpiece on this for easy drinking. I really appreciate it because I tend to dribble on myself, lol. The mouthpiece on this is pretty large and deep, so that shouldn’t be an issue for you with this one. My husband has used it for his coffee on the road with great success. There is no glass lining in this thermos. It is 18/8 stainless steel double walled and durable. The lid is made from BPA free Silicone, food grade. There are no toxin worries with this thermos. It doesn’t affect the flavor of your drinks at all either. It just helps to keep your coffee fresh and hot longer and your cold drinks to stay cold, much longer, as well. It’s definitely a keeper for us. It’s a great quality product.

Crisp clear sound with SoundPEATs New Arrival Q11 Bluetooth 4.1 Wireless Sport Headset.

I have to admit it; I am really fond of Soundpeat headphones. They really haven’t disappointed us in the past. I was so happy to receive their Q11 headphones to test. I love, love, love this over ear design. If you are bouncy, have a lot of hair, and are active, these babies will not fall out of your ear, and they are sweat proof! The design is perfecto! I wouldn’t change one thing! I really can’t express that enough. The design is perfect. Now, down to the music, lol. I wouldn’t be happy if they stayed on, but sounded horrible. That would be extra horrible, lol. These sound wonderful. The music and phone calls are nice, and crisp and clear. They chalk that up to their Bluetooth 4.1 technology and their apt X technology. It’s working for them. The bass and instrumental are clear. No edginess, or interference. There is no jumping or static at different levels. These headphones do have a bar off of the right ear. The controls are on the bar, and the micro USB port to charge them is on the right ear. The bar has a multipurpose button in the center, and a plus and minus buttons on either side of the multipurpose button. Press and hold the multipurpose button to turn them on and to pair. They come up as QY11 to pair, and no code is needed. They paired immediately with My Galaxy Note 5 phone. They do speak to you a little. For example: Power on, Power off, Phone 1 connected. They do not state the incoming call phone number though. One press of the multipurpose button is all it’s needed to both answer a phone call and to hang up a phone call. It will go back to playing your music when your call is over. Now, for the + and – buttons. Short press the minus button to lower the volume, long press to restart your song. Short press the + button to increase the volume, and long press to move to the next song. It’s very responsive, no lag. The calls are clear, and I had no trouble answering or hanging up. My husband used them out and about on the road for work without a hitch. You really can’t take calls without Bluetooth when you are in a car. Hands free is really the only way to go. He is on the road a lot, but has to take calls for work. These allow him to be safe and efficient. He also likes to run, and these are there for him yet again. Unfortunately I really love them too, lol. But, I love him more, so he gets first dibs on keeping them.

Dress up time for your baked goods. – LiStyle’s Cupcake Wrappers.

I love to bake. I find it very relaxing, and fun. These cupcake wrappers really bring baking up to the next level. These are literally clothing for your baked goods, lol. You do not actually bake with them, but you wrap them around your baked goods after you are done baking them. They are open, and are just wraps. These are not cups. They wrap and close with a tab. You get 100 of them in your package. They are made out of pearlescent art paper, in a filigree cut out design. They are quite gorgeous in person. The cut outs are such a fine detailing. It’s impressive what can be done with paper. The bottom diameter is 2.05 inches (5.2cm), and the top diameter is 3.19 inches. They are also 2.17 inches (5.5cm) tall. So, the perfect size for everyday cupcakes and muffins. These are great for parties, brunches, birthdays, get-togethers, anniversaries, weddings, showers, and more. They are even fun to dress up you every day muffin to make yourself feel special. I made a batch of chocolate chip muffins to test these out, and they really did dress them up! I wrapped them around the paper liner cup. If you choose a darker liner cup, that pretty color will shine through, adding to the design. This is really a no brainer way to dress up your baked goods for special occasions. I didn’t realize how easy it was.

Lights up the dark! – D.L. Life’s 50W LED Outdoor Security Floodlight.

I’m not so fond of the darkness, lol. I can be outside of my home and feel very secure. As soon as night time falls, everything changes. In other words, I am a fan of outdoor lighting. This light is very bright indeed. It really lights up a large area. It’s a hard wired light, and a 50W LED. That’s a lot of light. They state it puts off approx.. 4000 lumens. I do not have the ability to test it, but if we look toward it we do see stars, lol. This makes a great shop light/work light. You can hang it under an eave to illuminate the outside of your home as needed, or your garage, etc. My husband is a commercial electrician and really likes this light. It is made out of stainless steel and glass. Ours is well made. It is outdoor worthy with it’s IP65 waterproof rating. Make sure you mount it securely. It weighs 5.6lbs, and has an adjustable handle so you can set it at the angle you need. It measures out at 11.9” long, 9.7” tall, and 6.4” deep. It is equivalent to a 500W Halogen bulb, for comparison. This light is eco-friendly. It uses a lot less energy, and is more durable and long lasting. It has no toxic chemicals in it if broken, and can be disposed of in a regular manner. It’s not hazardous waste, like fluorescents. Our light is steady on. We have no flickering or dimming with ours. It’s nice and quiet, and doesn’t do any buzzing or humming. I love how bright it is. You don’t have to second guess what you are looking at if you are using it as a security light. While I was testing it out with our makeshift plug, it lit up our entire living room/kitchen combo room; pretty impressive. If you are looking for a cost effective way to really light up your shop or for added security, this one will definitely do the job.

Incredibly durable! – Bomber & Company’s Bomber Barrel Duffel Bag and Dopp Kit.

One can really never have enough bags. They wear out, and are always needed. My guys do a lot of on the road work. So, we go through bags. They are tough on them! My husband is also military, so I was intrigued by their military tough claims. I couldn’t wait to play with these bags. This girl loves a challenge. I was also intrigued how they raised over $500,000 in their kickstarter project. That is impressive. You will get the two bags in your set. They arrive in pretty cool packaging as well. The two bags are made out of 100% PU Coated Ripstop Nylon and webbing straps. The hardware is quite impressive. It is solid metal, not cheap at all. The pull cords are made out of Paracord, and not just a piece of it, but an actual braided section of it. The zippers are waterproof zippers as well. These bags truly are rough and tough. It cracks me up, that even the little doodads bag is just as tough. It’s the mini me of the bomber bag. The bomber bag measures out at 16” long x 10” tall, and 10” deep. It has a separate shoulder strap that clips on with the most durable, and cool clips. They are the best I have seen on a shoulder strap. The larger bag has a small zippered pocket on the outside of the bag, and another one on the inside of the bag. It’s amazing how much you can fit in these bags. I fit one of my sons jackets into the smaller bag, and 5 of our jackets into the larger bag. The smaller bag has a great grab handle as well as an exterior zippered pocket. We’ve had a lot of fun testing these bags out. We have been throwing them off our deck, throwing water on them, throwing them around the house, and kicking them around. These babies are truly very durable! After everything I have thrown at them, I still do not have a scratch even on the fabric. This is a great weekender bag, duffle bag, and every day use bag. It’s definitely become a go to bag in our home.

eco friendly,Let there be light! – Atek’s Aglaia UL Listed 9W E26 LED Light Bulb, and Atek’s Aglaia 6W E12 LED Filament Candle Light Bulb.

I am a LED nut, just love them! We have switched a lot of the household over to LED bulbs over the year, including outside, and we have noticed a drop in the electric bill. It was a lot larger than anticipated as well, so happy dance time. I just love them. Our kitchen chandelier takes the candelabra size, and all of our other lamps and lights take the standard size bulb. I really like these two from Atek. The candelabra bulb is a 6W LED, and the standard sized Atek bulb is a 9W LED bulb.

The candelabra bulbs are so well made. They are so solid in hand, it’s impressive. It’s definitely a different feel from the incandescent type, that I always feel like I am going to break. You get two in a package of these. They are very well packaged too, so no worries of them breaking during shipment. These LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours. That is a long time! This is a replacement for the traditional 40-60W incandescent bulbs, so they are pretty bright. These do not have a light filter on them, so they are best used in a shade situation, or they can be too bright on the eyes. This is not a dimmable light. But it is a really nice warm white light. They are a tad longer than the 30-40W equivalents. These measure out at 5.5” long from bottom to tip.

 

The regular everyday bulb has the eye filter built into it, so It affords plenty of light, but is still nice on the eyes. This is a 9W bulb and is equivalent to a 60-75W incandescent bulb. Which is pretty bright, and really lightens a room. It is rated to last 35,000 hours. I love how durable these bulbs are. I don’t have to worry about my kids goofing around. I had one of my sons break their compact fluorescent that was in their ceiling fan. Those have powdered Mercury in them, which is highly toxic. What a nightmare that was to clean up. You can’t vacuum it, because it kicks it and disperses it in the air. He didn’t sleep in his room for a week, and I had to throw so much away. These have no chemicals in them, last a long time, and are so durable. These are perfect for a child’s room. They offer a cool white light, and are non-dimmable.

 

Overall, these lights are solid, and offer bright, clear light. They are non-toxic and safe for the environment. They are very energy efficient, and will save you money on your electric bill.

Family fun. – iRush’s 3D Virtual Reality Video Glasses.

We are not new to VR glasses in my home. They are fun to use. We did discover though, that not everyone can use them. I have one son who injured himself when he was little. He can’t see the full view using the glasses. So, if you have some trouble, you are not alone. The rest of us can enjoy them though. This particular VR headset from iRush are very comfortable to use. They fit larger phones as well. This particular set is stated to fit phones from 4 – 6” in length. I have a Galaxy Note 5, and I can use these with my phone perfectly. I do have to remove it from my Otterbox case though. I have to with every pair of VR glasses we have. These are so easy to use. The front of the glasses has a magnetic closure, so just pull from the top to open. It opens easily for you. You will see the large clip that opens to hold your phone in place. There is a nice foam insert that protects your phone screen when inserted, and it holds your phone very securely as well. The front cover clips on, and can be removed completely. You can turn your camera mode on, and look through the lenses. It’s pretty wild. You can watch 3D movies on here as well as VR games and apps. Your phone does all the work. So, this will only be as good as your phone, really. I downloaded the VaR’s app from the Google Playstore. It is free, and has been working perfectly for me. Once you download the app, just do a search for VR games, and apps. Then download them to your phone. We like the dinosaur and aquarium apps. My son also like the rollercoaster one as well. When you have the goggles on, you really need to be able to stand up, and be able to turn in a full circle to get the full effect. On top of the goggles is a turn wheel. Just move this to adjust the pupil and focal distance as needed. It is adjustable from 55-75mm. I didn’t have to adjust it for myself. The headband is a wide and comfortable, Nylon webbing. It is adjustable on both the sides, and over the head. There is a plastic plate on the back of it to help keep it stabilized. It’s pretty comfortable on. Around the eyes, there is a deep padding done in a pleather like covering. It is very soft, and really makes the comfort of these glasses. It’s a fun experience that both the spectators, and the actual participate in. It’s fun to watch people react to what they are seeing. These can be used by virtually all ages as well.  You can have fun with this from Grandma to grandson, at one gathering. We have, and it’s fun to watch Grandma use it, lol.

I am a big fan of these new double walled stainless steel cups. We have the name brand one, Yeti, already. I was excited to compare the two. I like a challenge. This particular cup is by Kryogear on Amazon, and it is the 20oz version. They have the name Kryo nicely etched on the side of the cup. That is literally the only difference between the Kryo cup and the Yeti cup. My cup came with 1 lid and 1 stainless steel straw. It is supposed to come with two lids, but that was of no concern to me, so I never said anything. If that happens to you, you can request the 2nd lid. This cup is made out of 18/8 stainless steel. It is thick and durable. I love stainless. It doesn’t naturally harbor fungus, bacteria, or mold. The lid has a great seal on it and works perfectly. I placed ice in the cup, and after 12 hours of sitting in my living room/kitchen combo space, it had melted approx.. only a 1/6th of the way. I was very impressed indeed. It matches up to the Yeti perfectly. This cup is comfortable to hold when it’s full of ice. Since it is made with a double wall of stainless, hot drinks stay hot longer as well, and is just as comfortable to hold. We love using our cups like this one. I always keep a drink on hand with a ton of ice, even when I go out. I suffer from frequent anaphylactic reactions, and my throat is always sore and swollen. I have to have an icy drink with me. I can rely on this cup to even stay icy throughout the night! I can’t express how important this is to me. I love how they include the straw with the cup. It’s great for those who don’t have a supply on hand already. I love using our stainless straws. Yet again, no chemical worries. With this set up there will be no chemicals leaching into your drinks. This company even offers a lifetime guarantee! I am very comfortable recommending this product. It’s pretty top notch!

Portable, solar lighting. – Vproof Direct’s Solar Light Portable Magnet Outdoor/ Indoor Rainproof Solar Lantern.

I am an LED nut, and a solar one too. You really can’t beat the combination either. LEDs are so durable and long lasting. I love how clear and bright their lights are too. I hate compact flourescents, and am so glad they are being used less and less. People treat them like a regular light bulb, when they are filled with a powder form of Mercury, which is so toxic. My older on broke one once in his room. What an extreme nightmare that was. Kids and animals can break LED lights in the home, without worry of any toxic fallout. So yea, I love LEDs!!!!!!!!!!!! I do have a collection. I am not to fond of the dark, and either is my youngest. It’s great to have a back of source of light when the lights go out do to a storm, or while traveling. This particular light is so cool. I love it. Not only is it waterproof, an LED, and solar powered, but is also has magnets on the back of it. It really holds too! And, to add icing to the cake, it also has a loop, so it can be hung and/or attach your own carabineer clip to it. That way you can clip it to your pack, solar panel out, so it charges throughout the day. This light is lightweight at 3.2oz and measures only 5” in diameter. It has 10 LEDs in it, and three modes: low, high, and a slow strobe/flash. That is the order how they come on as well. On low, which is still pretty bright, this light can go up to 8 hours on a full charge, and up to 5 on the other modes. I charged mine up through my window in the living room, so It’s so simple to do. On high, this light is 90 lumens, and can illuminate approx. 15sq. ft. of light. I have to admit, I didn’t measure the light area, lol. But, I can say, it really does illuminate a good area. It would definitely light up a tent, or the inside of a work trailer. It has a 3.7VDC Lithium Polymer Battery in it. There is only one button on the back of the light, in the middle of the solar panel. This operates the entire light; so simple. If you had to get out of your vehicle at night, in the dark, this light wood really be helpful. It would stick to the outside of the car, and give you hands free light, which is a great safety aid. I love that. You can have it charge by throwing it on your dash during the day, and then it can really serve as a great emergency light if you should need it, at night. I really can’t say enough about this light. It has so many useful attributes to it. It has quickly become one of my favorites.
