I am insane about the pillows I use. I use multiple. Yes, I am one of those. I was so lucky, and found these on a flash sale, so I grabbed them. Normally I am hesitant about ordering pillows online. I have had bad experiences of them arriving and reeking of chemicals, and then having an anaphylactic reaction to them. I have insane allergies, and have to be so careful about my pillows. These pillows arrived in the most comical way. The box was heavy, and smaller, so I did not expect there to be 2 queen sized pillows in it. When I opened the box, it looked like there were two large cocoons in it, I kid you not. When you open the box, you will see two tightly wrapped up pillows. Each pillow is tightly wrapped up in a roll, and held in place with saran type wrap and packing tape. Fortunately, they are made in the USA, so I wasn’t too worried. I was so surprised that after I careful unwrapped them, they popped right out into pillow form. It took like no time at all, to be fully puffed right back up. Be very, very careful unwrapping them, though. Besides peeling, tugging, at the wrap, I had to occasionally use a pair of scissors and cut my way through the wrap and tape. I was afraid I was going to cut the pillow. After unveiling them, I found them to be odor free! They were also very clean, soft, and fluffy, and quite comfortable! These are not firm pillows at all. So, if you require a firm pillow, these are not for you. You sink into these. They do spring right back, though. These are meant to be squished and held, and pulled to support your head and neck. I sleep on my side a lot, and pull the pillow down on that side to my shoulder, to fully support my neck. This can be done with these pillows. The same goes if I lie on my back. I can grab a side of the pillow and pull it down over to each shoulder, thus again, fully supporting my neck. I had full whiplash from an accident in my past, along with my constant swollen throat from my anaphylactic reactions. So, supporting my neck is very important while I sleep. The gel fibers are made out of a Micro Denier Poly Fiber. They state that it is tougher than silk fibers. I personally do not have a way to test that, lol. But, they are performing better than my all cotton fill pillows, that have fallen apart after 6 months. I am very happy with these gel fiber down alternative pillows. The stitching was all done tight and on point. My pillows had no imperfections upon arrival. They do not bother my insane number of allergies at all. The internals haven’t become all twisted and malformed from my type of sleeping with them. Overall, I am a very happy camper with these pillows.

Fall is here, and winter is around the corner. I love the comfortable, cozy feeling of winter clothes. I am all for comfort during the winter months. I hate being cold, though. That’s where warm clothing comes into play. I tend to wear mostly cotton nowadays, due to my long list of allergies. It is so had to find quality, and warm winter clothing made out of cotton. I understand that manmade fabrics can be warmer, but they are unhealthy for your skin and body. Some of the fabrics have such loose fibers, that you actually end of inhaling them, which is also so bad for your body.

I was so thrilled to find this winter scarf from Natural Feelings. What an appropriate name, too. It is soft, thick, and plush. The size of it lends to the ability to do so many styles with it, too. Thank goodness for our online. You can find so many ways to wrap a scarf online, nowadays. I grew up with the basic tie knowledge, so I am loving the new trends. This scarf measures out at 6’ long, and 2 feet wide. That includes the fringe. My scarf arrived in perfect condition. I had no holes, odor, loose threads, snags, or any imperfections on mine. It arrives in a black plastic bag. The bag has a ziplock feature to it, and minute holes in it. This allows you to reuse the bag for storage and travel. I love the idea of less waste.

They state that the fringe has an oblong design to it, and is handmade. You can tell where it was hand pulled to create the fringe, and it does indeed leave a pretty pattern to that specific area on the scarf. I’ve honestly never paid that much attention to fringe before. I guess I’ve been taking it for granted, lol. I ordered the scarf in their pretty “Silver” color. The Silver color is really a soft palate of grey, pink, blue, white and beiges. The grey is the base of the scarf, and the other colors make up the pattern. Since the palate is so soft, these colors can go with almost anything. I really love it. There are two bolder color choices to choose from, also. One of which reminds me of the color scheme from a Burberry scarf. This is their “Black” color choice. Then, the last choice they have the scarf available in is their “Red” color choice. This one has a lot of dark burgundy tones in it. It’s very rich in color. Overall, this is a well-made all cotton scarf. It’s soft, and comfortable, and surprisingly thick as well. It’s definitely going to be a warm and pretty scarf this winter.

A beautiful dress. – Yazaco’s Vintage Swing Dress

I was so excited to get this dress. I have a lot of fabric sensitivities, and it’s so hard to find a dress nowadays that is not primarily made out of Polyester. I went to JCpennys, Belks, and Sears. Looked online, and Polyester, Polyester, Polyester, is all I saw. I really hate that fabric. Companies are switching to it because it is a cheaper fabric, and dresses snag easier, and wear faster. It means more turnover, and more profit for them. This dress is actually made out of 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex. The dress is just so beautiful. Nothing moves like Cotton, feels like Cotton, or Breathes like Cotton, but Cotton. I was also so relieved that the dress arrived in perfect condition.

It really is a quality dress. All of the stitching was done tight and on point. The zipper works perfectly. There were no odors, stains, holes, tears, snags, or imperfections. It is just perfect. Their size chart is off to the side, so do not use Amazon’s size chart. I wear a 36C bra, so I ordered the Large. I never go by waist size. I am short waisted anyhow, lol. But, since this dress either has to go over your hips, or slid on overhead, you need to make sure it can clear your hips or your shoulders. The zipper only goes down to the top of the waist line. I was able to step into this dress with no issues. I did however, need help to fully zip the dress. I couldn’t fully reach the zipper behind me. The zipper stays put on this dress. It won’t slide down on you and be embarrassing. I did not need a slip with this dress either. The front area, along the breast line, wrapped around to the back, is lined. That, and the material is thick enough not to be see thru. It really is made really well. The piping and seaming were done perfectly. I just love it. No, when it comes to washing it, they suggest hand wash only with cool water. Now, I do not hand wash, but I have a machine with no agitator. It’s basically a flat agitator. If you have a washer like that, you could put this dress in a lingerie bag with the zipper on the dress, zipped up. Then, wash it on the delicate setting, alone in the washer; problem solved, lol. The dress measures out at 42” long from the top of the back neckline, to the bottom hem. It’s a great length dress for most women, which is a great attribute to this dress. They offer it in sizes S-XXL, as well as 7 other patterns and design of dress as well. Overall, this is a well-made, beautiful dress. It fits a female figure beautiful, and is figure flattering, and forgiving. We are all not tall bean poles, and this dress doesn’t care.

So, so soft and comfortable. – North 15 Boy’s %100 Cotton Flannel Pajama Pants (Size 8 – 18).

I have all boys. Some love to hunt, but all love animals. Even my husband is a hunter. So, I was thrilled to see this line of flannel pajama pants. They offer several different patterns with deer, and hunting dogs, as well as your traditional plaid flannels. They offer them in sizes from 8-18, and I find that they run true to size. At least the size we ordered was right on target. I love that this is true flannel, and is 100% Cotton. So many companies are cheaping out now, and use Polyester. My pair of jammy pants arrived with no odor to them whatsoever. They were very clean, and fresh looking. My younger son absolutely loves them, especially because they feel so soft and comfortable. He will only wear things that are soft and comfortable, lol. Quality wise, they are top notch. All of the stitching was done tight and on point. I didn’t even have a dangly thread to trim. They arrived with no stains, tears, holes, snags, or deformity. The legs are nice and even. The waist has a 1 ½” wide elastic band and draw string. The draw string does not have to be used though, the elastic was done well, and holds the pants up perfectly. Since it is a wider waistband, it sits flatter and won’t roll on you. They also stitched the elastic very well. When it’s not done well, it can start rolling on you right away. These are not flame retardant, like some children’s jammies. I rather have my son wear cotton anyhow. It is healthier for the skin. They can be washed and dried. They are all cotton, and can shrink a little. I suggest drying on a cooler temp, and we wash everything with cold water. Overall, we are extremely happy with these flannel pants. They more than met our expectations. I can’t express enough how much my son loves them.

Ooh Lala! – Dimore’s Men’s Cotton Underwear Boxer Briefs.

Underwear is fun to wear, and you know it’s true. This set of 5 boxer briefs from Dimore is no exception. I mean, ooh lala, there’s no fly in these babies. Talk about fashion forward. I know that’s what all men think about when they are out underwear shopping. Ok, I know I’m being silly, but these are pretty sharp looking. Not only are they modern and sporty, but they are made out of the softest material: 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex. They are breathable, and soft on your tushy. The fit makes them great for all day wear, and for sports related activities. You have great freedom of movement in these. They do run true to size as well. Our set arrived in perfect condition. One pair has some frayed threads that needed to be trimmed off. It didn’t affect the pair at all. I couldn’t even see how the color thread was related to the pair of underwear. I thought it was funny and odd all at the same time. There was no odor to the undies upon arrival either. They used a Flatlock stitching to reduce any chance of chaffing or irritation. My husband says thy are very comfortable on. The waistband is a nice smooth, and wide elastic at 1 3/8^th inches. It lies nice and flat, even with movement. I love cotton underwear like this. It washes well, and only becomes softer with washing. They designed the front of the boxer briefs well, so even without the fly, you will not feel bound up. You should feel comfortable even after a long day of working. My husband says they do. Overall, he likes them. They are well made, and made out of quality of material.

Cotton always feels great against our skin. It’s soft, and moves with your body. It lets your skin breathe, which is also healthier for your skin. It allows your body to feel fresher, for longer. There really is no better material for underwear. This 5 pack of men’s underwear by Dimore is made out of 100% Ring Spun Cotton. The waist band is a wide 1 ¼” elastic waist band. It is soft to the touch and flexible. It also feels great against your skin. They have their logo placed around it, in a bolder, more modern style. All of the stitching on our pack of undies was done tight and on point. They arrived very clean, and with no odor to them whatsoever. These underwear do have a fly to them. So many are being made without nowadays. The colors in this pack are Navy Blue, White, Black, Grey, and Denim Blue. These are not your regular tighty whities, lol. They actually have some life and design to them. We find them to run true to size, which is always a relief. They are made to move with you, and not to ride up on you, with their reinforced leg bands. These underwear wash well too. We haven’t been able to find any negatives with this underwear. They are made well, and so soft and comfortable.
