My family and I all use these new double walled stainless steel cups. I would feel bad about not using my Tervis cups, but these cups really help keep my cold drinks cold, longer, and our hot coffee drinks, hotter, longer. You really can’t lose with these. This is another brand (Chief) that has entered the competition among the stainless cup industry, lol. It is a 20oz stainless steel insulated cup, with a lid. The lid is just like the lid on our 20oz Yeti that we have. The seal is nice and tight, and holds very well. There is that usual small opening to drink out of. I like that they included the stainless steel straw that will fit into this cup. They actually include a set of 4 stainless steel straws, and 1 straw cleaning brush. This is definitely the eco-friendlier way to go over disposable straws. I have been using a stainless steel straw and cup for a very long time now, and I do not ever taste a flavor difference with the metal. This tumbler has been able to hold its’ own amongst its competitors that we own. I always have an ice cold drink with me, even bedside, so it’s important that my ice last as long as it can. If you just place ice in here, you will have some ice left in it the next day. My throat is always swollen due to frequent anaphylactic reactions, so this is a must have feature for me. I think that’s pretty wild that ice will last so long in this cup; I love that. This cup will not leach chemicals into your drink either. It is obviously BPA free. It will not shatter or crack on you, if you drop it. Your hands will not get cold or hot when holding this either, due to its’ great insulation. Since stainless steel doesn’t rust, you will not have to worry about your cup not lasting for you. We use a Keurig to make our coffee. This will not fit, but if you brew a large cup of coffee, that will fit in here perfectly, and allow enough room for milk. So, the large cup setting is a perfect match for this cup, if you add milk to your coffee. If you drink it black, it still fits, and there will be some room left over in it. Another great to go benefit, is that it will fit into your car cup holders well. It fits into all of my cup holders. This is another must have feature for us as well. This has held up to our testing, and our must haves. They even have it available in the 30oz size as well. It’s a welcomed addition to the stainless tumbler market.

The newer collapsible chair. – Trekology’s Compact Portable High Back Camping Chair with Head Rest.

I don’t know about you, but I hate lugging around those usual camping chairs. The bags are long, and they take up too much room in the car. They are even cumbersome to carry, since we always have more than one. I have been wanting to test out one of these chairs for a long time. I am soooo impressed with their take down size, and with their higher weight tolerance. This chair from Trekology can hold up to 300lb, which is great for a collapsible chair. This is perfect for larger parents, or parents who always have a child on their lap. You won’t have to worry about the chair giving way, like some do. They even use a very thick and durable fabric. If you really know backpacks, you will immediately understand the 1000D Nylon material used. Most backpacks use a 600D. The more tactical, heavy duty packs use 1000D. It lasts so much longer, and can really put up with more abuse. I think that was a great choice of material for a chair like this. It’s very thick. I love how well made the chair is. The stitching on the fabric was done all tight and on point. The seeming was done perfectly. You can tell the craftsmanship as you look it over. Even the storage bag is made quite well. Down the top of the storage bag, you will find a strip of molle webbing. You’ll be able to attach other items you might need to this bag. I love being able to organize our things, in a quick and simple manner. The bag itself only measures 14” long. They state on their ad page that the chair weighs only 3.5lbs. I weighed it with my fish scale, and it cane up at only 3.22lbs. So, that was awesome. It’s even less weight to pack out if you are going hiking and camping. The chair is pretty simple to put together. The frame is designed with a hinge system. There is a Velcro strap connecting it together. Just undo it when you remove it from the bag, and then do a snapping motion to open and click the frame together. We discovered it snaps into form pretty quick that weigh. It’s made out of aluminum, and really holds up our weight well, and even in the grass, on mushy ground. Then, just place the chair cover onto the frame. My husband called it more of a recliner feel, and I have to agree with him. The head rest is really just part of the chair. It’s a high back chair, so you can really lean back into it, and the chair stays very stable. You can easily fall asleep in this chair and take a nap. Fortunately, it’s just as easy to take apart as it is to put it together. We absolutely love the chair. Thanks Trekology!

This makes it easy to be prepared. – Western Frontiers’ Ultimate MRE, Case of 12.

I cannot count how many MREs that have come through my home, lol. Between having Military and outdoor enthusiasts in the home, we have had our share. I personally think every home should have some in case of emergency. Ignore the sign of not for resale. That is because the military cannot resale them. MREs are released after a year in surplus, and then companies are allowed to sell them. These have a varied life span from 2017 and up to 4 years. They are clearly labeled with an expiration date. The expiration dates will vary. You receive 12 MRE’s in this case. There is a mixed variety of meals as well. Each package is clearly labeled and tightly sealed. It’s really easy to pack out with these, and very easy to store for preparedness too. You want to store them in a clean, cool, dry place. Each meal contains a water activated flameless ration heater in it. This way you can eat in the field if you need to. It’s also a great way to get hot food when there is no power or readily available fire. The meals received in my box are as follows:

Now, do not expect gourmet taste in an MRE, lol. That’s never going to happen. This is food that can keep you alive in dire situations. Some of them can be tasty. My son and husband really like some, and hate others. That really is a personal decision. These are easy to store, and take along with you. They are great to take with you on a trip in case your car breaks down, and you’re stranded. These are definitely the choice to make for a camping trip, especially when you pack out. Every home should be stocked with meals like this in case of an emergency, so your family can still eat. I love that MREs are available to the public. It’s definitely something every home should take advantage of. You need to still provide your own fluids, and water to activate the heater bags. My husband states that some MRE’s will include the water. He says it’s always hit or miss in this department. I love how you get such a mixture of foods in an MRE, including chicklets. I think that is hilarious for some reason. These really make being prepared easy.

Makes it easy to carry your tumbler. – K3 Brands’ 30 Ounce Yeti Tumbler Handle.

My mom and I use our 30oz Yeti Tumblers every day. She had a handle like this for her Tervis, so she was so happy to see this handle for the Yeti. This handle is from K3Brands on Amazon. It is made to fit the 30oz Yeti Tumbler, and their competitors as well. It fits like a glove too. Just slide you cup into it, and it holds on perfectly. It doesn’t slide down at all when you place your cup down on the table. It does make it easier to grab and go. You can actually carry more things since you have a firmer hold on your cup. It may sound weird, lol, but it’s true. The handle is made out of a thick, black plastic. This plastic is a “Food Grade Polypropylene”. The handle does not bend on you at all. It is a very sturdy, and reliable handle which is a great relief. I know I do not want to spill my icy drink all over me. I always have a glass full of ice, and a nice cool beverage. My mom always has her large ice coffee with her. We discovered that this handle does add a little weight to the lot, but not enough to make it too cumbersome; even for an older person like my mom. She even has some arthritis in her hands. The handle does make it easier to carry. The handle does not bend under the weight. It’s just very reliable and sturdy. It’s really easy to keep clean as well. The material doesn’t show fingerprints. It seems to always look nice and clean. I am very happy to see that it is just as useful as I hoped it would be.

Veteran Owned and Operated. – American Brass’ 7.62 and .50 Caliber Bullet Bottle Opener Combo Pack.

I actually already own both the bottle opener and keychain from American Brass. I love them, and use them all of the time. My older son actually confiscated and has kept the bottle opener. The thing is made unbelievably well, and is so durable. It works perfectly, and has a very high cool factor to it as well. The same goes for the keychain. I kept that one though, and never let him touch it, lol. I was thrilled to see them available as a set, and even more thrilled to be able to review the set. This company uses only pre-fired demilitarized, bullet casings, from our US Military. How fantastic is that. I love that! What a story that makes when you present this as a gift. It’s nicely packaged, and ready to go out of the box. The keychain is made out of the 7.62 casing, and the bottle opener is made out of the .50Cal casing. These are brass, thick, and solid. They are not bendy in the least. They are not dirty, or rough to hold. They have a great patina to them as well. The keyring that comes with the 7.62 bottle opener, is a tight and solid key ring. This company is even a “Veteran Owned and Operated company.” It doesn’t get better than that. The surface is smooth. You could have the larger bottle opener engraved on your own as well. Or, you can do it yourself if you are handy. There are no negatives with this set. It’s completely a win, win situation here. You get to open your bottle like a boss, hands down. You’ll even get to carry your keys, like a boss! I most definitely recommend this set.

Another great tumbler. – Simple Modern Vacuum Insulated 30oz Stainless Steel Tumbler.

Let me tell you, we had been converted Tervis people. Then, my son moved us over to the Yeti stainless cups. We have officially been converted over to the Yeti side, lol. I have tried other competitor brands, but this is my first 30oz competitor cup. I use my 30oz Yeti every day! I just love it. So, I was very, very curious and excited about testing out this competitor. I love the challenge. This mug looks just like my Yeti. It has a smaller bottom area, so it can fit in my car cup holder. I will not use a cup, if it doesn’t fit in my car. My throat swells shut all of the time due to numerous life threatening allergies. My throat is always swollen and sore. I always have a cup fully of an icy drink to sip on, 24/7. My throat wakes me up during the night, and I sip on the icy drink. It really helps. So, it is very important to me that my cup can keep my drink cold for an extended period of time. I did an ice test on this cup first thing. I filled it to the top with ice, and then placed the top on. The top has silicone rings around it, and it creates a great seal. Mind you, there is a drinking hole in the lid. You can fit a narrow straw through this. I have thin stainless steel straws that we use with these cups. After 25 hours, there was actually still some ice left in the cup. It performs as well as my Yeti, which makes me very happy!!!! It even comes in 8 different color choices, for no additional cost. It is made out of 18/8 stainless steel, and has the double wall construction. It is toxin free, chemical free, and safe to drink both hot and cold liquids out of it. My husband took his coffee to work with him. He had a 3 hour drive to the office, too. He is very happy with how this cup is performing with hot liquids. The double wall construction is great. I wouldn’t have it any other way. The cup never sweats. It is comfortable to both hold and drink out of this cup. You can put steamy hot coffee right from the Kuerig in here, and not feel the heat through the cup. We haven’t been able to find any negatives with this cup. It has held its own against our Yeti. So, so comfortable. – Klue Knights’ Stoga Outdoor Inflatable Couch Camping Furniture Sleeping Compression Air Bag Lounger.

If you like to go camping, go to the beach, or just lounge, this is for you. The concept is pretty cool, and it really works. All you need is some wind, and you have a couch to sit or lie on. If you have ever used a dry bag, you can operate this with ease. It literally functions as a dry bag does. This particular couch from Stoga, has a maximum weight limit of 330 – 440lbs. That is a lot of weight. One person can comfortably lie down on it, and three smaller people can sit on it comfortably. You may have to roll yourself over to get up though, lol. The couch is just full of air, and getting out of it is not the most graceful action. To fill it up you need to open the bag, and hold it up with the compartment open, facing the wind. If there is no wind, create your own by running. It doesn’t take much to fill it. Now, after you fill it with air, you roll the end over like 3 times, and then clip it shut. Voila, you have a couch to get cozy on. The material for the outside of the couch is a Nylon. The interior of the couch is PVC. It’s pretty durable, and puts up with the weight of me and my husband, together, lol. It’s very easy to keep clean, and dries quickly in case you get it wet poolside, or beachside. You can even use it indoors, for that impromptu sleepover. I love how lightweight this is. It arrives with its own shoulder bag to store and carry it in. It weighs only 3lbs, which is really light. You need wind to fll it up, but if it gets too windy, it can blow away if no one is on it. You can get a sand stake, or yard stake, and some paracord. Then just loop the paracord through the strap you buckled. Then it can’t blow away when you get up; problem solved. Also, remember to take your keys out of your pocket, or anything sharp you may have. The material can actually put up with a lot, but you can put a hole in it, if not careful. Overall, I am really impressed with this couch. The storage bag was not made with the best craftsmanship, but it works, and well too. It is easy to roll up the couch, and put it back in it, when you’re done with it too. I am comfortable recommending this product.

I review a lot of items, and occasionally one comes by that makes you feel so happy about it. This is one of those items. It brings you back to the kids Army men toys. I keep thinking about the Toy Story Movie’s Army men. They are awesome, and so is this bottle opener. It’s a no brainer, really. I think every home needs one, lol. I pretty much started playing with it the moment it arrived in the mail. It is titled the Sgt. Pryer Army Man Bottle Opener. I love pun humor, so the name is perfect for our family. To top it off, my husband is in the Army. See, just perfect. This little guy is only 4 ½” long, so it’s easy to hold, use, and store. It is also made out of die cast metal, and is extremely durable. You really can’t go wrong with it. To use it, just place the rifle over the bottle cap, and then catch the bottom of the bottle cap on top of the rifle. Then, all you need to do, is press down on his legs, and pop, off comes the bottle cap. It’s just so easy to use, and doesn’t look ugly while sitting out. Lol. When I first saw it, I thought of a new drinking game the guys could do. Let’s see them low crawl under a set up obstacle course, to get the bottle opener, to open up their drink. That would be both fun to do, and fun to watch. It’s the perfect bottle opener.

The perfect grind. – AFL Product’s Manual Coffee Grinder with Conical Ceramic Burr.

We are big coffee drinkers in my family. We love drinking organic coffee. I have insane food allergies and we get it now and then. We buy whole bean and grind it ourselves, for even more yummy freshness. There really is a difference in flavor. We have an electric grinder, but I have to admit, manual grinders are better on coffee beans. My husband really prefers it, and so do I. It’s quieter, lol, and the manual grinders are easier to clean and maintain. They do a better job on the grind as well. There is a ceramic burr in this one. In our personal experience, ceramic lasts longer, and does an amazing job in grinding. It keeps it’s “sharpness” a lot longer than traditional metal. You can adjust and set your coarseness. Just do it before putting your coffee beans in it, lol. If you are using a coffee press, or putting it into a Keurig cup, and need a coarser grind. That is easy with this. I do it and use my Keurig cups for the most part. It works perfectly. This grinder is made out of stainless steel. It is pretty durable and perfect for travel. Stainless also doesn’t naturally harbor bacteria, mold, or fungus. Included in this set is the grinder, a handle, a storage bag, and a cleaning brush. You just need to provide the muscle power and the coffee beans. The handle does not screw on. It is a separate piece that just gets placed on top while you use it. The top cap comes off, and that is where you place your coffee beans. The ground coffee then falls into the lower portion of the unit, and gets stored there until you need it. You can see the ground amount in it. There are two clear panels in the lower compartment. This particular unit is also compatible with the Aeropress, if you have it. I do not own it, so I was unable to test that out personally. The bottom portion was hard to remove the first time out. I was able to rock it back and forth and get it off that way. After that one time, it was easy to do, like my other manual grinders. If you travel a lot for pleasure, or work, this is perfect for you. You can easily make fresh coffee on the go with this unit. I love that they included both the cleaning brush and the drawstring storage bag. They really did think of everything. After you grind your coffee, just use the brush to clean out the top portion and what is visible of the grinder. That’s all you have to do. It really takes no muscle at all to grind it. Even when I am weak after an anaphylactic reaction, I can turn this grinder. I think people hate to hear the word, manual, lol. Don’t scare away from it with this. It really is easy to do, and quick to do as well.

We love coffee in our home. My guys are big drinkers of the coffee, and so is my mom. That is pretty much all my mother drinks. I was really excited when I saw these spoons. I mean, I have tea infusers, but I had never heard of coffee ones; brilliant! You can use these at work and have fresh, yummy coffee, so easily. There are two in this package. That is great for a couple, or if you want to leave one at home, and one at work. These work like tea infusers too. These particular coffee filter spoons are made out of stainless steel mesh and BPA free plastic. The plastic handles keep you from burning your fingers. They do not absorb the heat form the hot coffee like metal would. The basket slides, so do not try to open it. I almost broke mine doing that. Such a duh moment for me. The top literally just slides to the right to open. Grab the tab at the end of the spoon part, and push it to the right. Then fill it with your fresh ground coffee, and place it in your cup of hot water. It works better for course ground coffee, otherwise some grounds will get into your cup. Just stir it in your cup, and then let it steep for a few minutes. Almost just like a coffee press, and tea infusers. So simple, quick, and easy. Then after your coffee, just open it up, dump the grounds, and rinse out the spoon. These are dishwasher safe, but rinsing them out by hand is faster. If you are using them at work, rinsing them would be your only option anyway. You can use these in RV’s, hotels, at work, camping, and more. It’s really a neat new kitchen gadget to have.
