Whether you are in the middle of a remodel, or just want to freshen up a room, these wall panels sent to me from 3D Wall Panels – CSI Wall Panels, will definitely do the trick. We happen to be in the middle of a renovation. The home is from the 1960’s, and definitely needs some modernization. What I love about these wall panels, is that you do not have to only choose an ultra-modern design, but you can choose more neutral designs as well. There is something for everyone. They offer a YouTube video to show you how simple it is to install these panels. You do not need a professional to install, which is always a benefit to the wallet, lol. Although, my husband is a master carpenter and a commercial electrician, so I did have the upper hand. These wall panels are appropriate for home, office, and commercial properties. They come unfinished, and will need to be painted by you. I was given a panel of wall panel choices to choose from. They were made from either one of these choices:

I chose the wood wall look, done in the MDF wood fiber material. The natural finish is more of a light brown. Besides providing the paint to finish, we also had to buy adhesive to mount them to the wall. We repainted our wall before applying the panels. You will want to mount them to a clean, dry surface. These wall panels have an A+ air emissions rating, so they are healthy to have them in home. They are 100% Natural, eco-friendly, and 100% of the wood is from well managed forests. I am really happy with these panels over all. I have insane allergies and asthma, and I have had absolutely no irritation from thee panels at all. The company obviously has pride in the products they sell, and it shows.

I received two boxes of wall panels. Each box contained 10 panels, which covers approx.. 27sqft each. Make sure you let the panels acclimate to the temperature in your room, where you are doing the install, approx.. 24 hours before you apply them. We let them sit about 4 days, since we were waiting for the weekend. Each panel measures out at 19.68?x 19.68? inches. However, they are all nominal. The way the come out of the machine, they are not all exactly the same. So, measure and trim before install. That is what we discovered. My husband said this is too be expected, and experiences this with tile all of the time, too. The adhesive we used to install the panels is Power Grab by Loctite. He really liked how well this adhesive worked. The panels held very well, and didn’t need to be taped while the adhesive took hold. Now, besides measuring and trimming your panels, you will also want to sand down the edges. Really check out each panel. Ours had mildly rough edges, from the way they were made. So, sand them down before mounting them. Below are two pictures of a painted sample with rough edges. You can sand the edges down and repaint without difficulty.

Then, make sure you mark your center line when you start your layout. You want to apply your adhesive to the back of the panel, on all of the raised surfaces, then apply them to your wall. Once all of your panels are up, according to your plan, it is time to prime, and then paint your panels. The panels dry fairly quickly, as the boards are quite absorbent.

You may need to re-sand the edges after the primer dries. That is something you will have to decide. We chose a high gloss paint, for that smooth, modern finish. We set up our own spray tent area with visqueen and painters tape. That way our area was protected from any overspray mist. The spray technique really allows you to get that smooth, sleek finish. We used Valspar High Gloss Lacquer in White. This paint really worked well on the panels, and no special sprayer was needed. Since we only did a section on our wall, we trimmed out the panels with premium grade 1x2s. Then we used caulk to fill in the gap. That was also really simple and fairly inexpensive to do. You want to prime and paint the panels after they are installed on the wall. That way you can also make sure any spacing between the panels is also painted, for a smooth finished product.

Our panels were nice and solid, and easy to work with. We did not have any damaged panels in our shipment. We are extremely happy with the finished product. We love it as our background for the electric fireplace we installed. It adds so much style and flare to the room. With the lacquer finish that we chose, it adds a lot of shine to them when the light hits it just so. Gel nail polish is all the rave. It is so easy to do at home now, with the large availability of UV Nail Dryers on the market. Gel nail polish, however, is still pricey. Most require you to use the at least the top coat to cure it, too. The first time I was sent a nail dryer to review, I went down to my local drug store to buy nail polish. I was shocked that a bottle was $15 plus tax. It was over $30 to buy a top coat and the polish. I could get my nails done for that price. So, I was overjoyed to find this product. It is an all in one Gel Nail Polish. No top coat, or base coat needed. I received the package of 6 different nail colors: MelodySusie Gel Nail Polish Set, Lux Classics. When I ordered mine for review, the price on the set was only $23.99 with prime shipping from Amazon. You really can’t beat that price. They do offer a set of 6 in different colors, as well as a base coat/top coat all in one, too. How ironic that they sell it, even though you do not need it for this nail polish to work. In this case, it will just prolong the life span of your nail polish on your nails. You can use an LED UV nail dryer too. That is what I am using now. The colors this set come with are:

These polishes are nontoxic as well. I am very happy to report that this nail polish does not have a strong odor at all. I was actually very surprised at how little odor there was. My 9 year old was in the room with me, and normally complains when I do my nails. He sat about 4 ft. from me, and never even looked up with this polish. Curing time depends on the type of dryer you use. If you use an UV lamp, and apply a thin coat, you can get away with approx. 1 minute under the lamp. If you use a LED UV lamp, then double that to two minutes. I always mess up my nails, so I did three minutes under my UV LED lamp, and that worked perfectly. Even after I did a 2^nd coat. The colors are pretty true to the cap. I love the shine gel nail polish gives off. I do not notice a difference between the type that requires a top coat, and this one that does not. I really love the ease of this polish too. For the ease and the price of this gel nail polish, I am surely impressed. I have no complaints.

Out in style with Vmates’ Delicate Flower Handbag.

We women love our purses. They come in so many varieties, and materials too. I never go out without some type of bag. I tend to lean toward to the more “plain” style, when it comes to patterns and purses. It normally is the safer bet, for me, anyhow. That’s where my comfort zone lies. This purse by Vmate, is so different from what I normally use. It makes me expand my comfort zone. I am really glad I had the chance to test out this bag. The size is fantastic, which makes it so useful to many people. It measures out at 13 ¾” wide, 9 ½” tall, and 3 ¾” deep. These are my personal measurements, too. The purse arrives well packaged, and comes in a purse sleeve. So, when you are not using it, you can store it in it’s own bag, to make it last longer, and protect it. They made this purse out of a soft, pliable pleather. The hardware on it is Gold Tone in color. It I metal as well. I like how they added 4 gold tone feet to the bottom of the purse. We always end up putting our purse on the floor at some point, and the feet really help to protect the bottom of our bags. I do not find this feature that often anymore. I think these feet are done in a plastic material, but with the same gold tone finish. That is my personal guess, as it is not mentioned in their purse description.

When my purse arrived, I found the shoulder strap folded up inside of the purse. It clips onto the bag, as another carry option. Otherwise, it has a handle on the top of the bag, and you could carry it this way also. I always put the shoulder straps on my bags. Another personal choice, of course. The shoulder strap is made very well. It is thick, durable, and highly adjustable. I love that it has a full front flap closure. It closes with 2 magnet snaps as well. The full front flap makes it so much harder for pick pockets, which is awesome! I have a vivid memory, as a young child, of someone trying to steal my mom’s purse in Mexico, when we lived there. So, I always think purse safety. My purse arrived in perfect condition. I found no imperfections with it, whatsoever. There was no odor to it either, which is always a great thing. The inside of the purse is fully lined, with pretty durable material. It is not a soft fabric, but more of a fabric that you can wipe down a little, like a nylon fabric. It is brown in color. Inside of the purse is one large, open compartment. On the back wall of the purse, you will find the usual zippered pocket. The sipper functions perfectly on mine. On the front wall of the purse, you will find the usual dual, open pockets. These are great for placing your lipstick, pens, pocket knife, and the like, in them. Overall, I am very happy with this purse. It has such a unique style to it, it’s a great size, and made well too.

From home to salon, MiroPures’ UVLED Nail Dryer.

Getting your nails done is a huge deal around the globe. Unfortunately, our pockets do not always allow the funds to go out and have them done. I personally, never go out and have my nails done. If you work hard too, it’s hard to find the time to get them done professionally as well. Gel polish is also highly popular. Many people think that they can’t do it easily at home, and then, don’t even try. I’ve had a UV nail dryer in the past, but my husband stole it to fix telephones with. It turns out the glue for smart phone screens, need UV light to dry too, lol. So, I was very happy to be able to test out this Nail Dryer/UV Light from MiroPure. It is much nicer than my last one. I really like the size of it. It is larger than a lot, which allows you the ability to easily do your toes as well, in it. It is also more forgiving if you move your hands, because your child keeps interrupting you, lol. The width on it measure out to be approx. 8 6/8^th”. This particular model has 2 different light sources, not one main one. They use a 305/405nm Light Source Technology. If you look inside of the dryer when it is not on, you will see the many UVLED light points spread throughout the dryer. 24 to be exact, and they each have a 50,000 hour lifespan.

The dryer has 4 buttons on it. One is the on/off button/99S, and the other three are labeled 10S, 30S, and 60S. When the heat setting is 99s, it gradually increases, which is supposed to provide more comfort during the nail drying process. I never experienced discomfort, but for those that are more sensitive, this may be a great thing for you. It normally only takes approx.. 30 seconds to cure/dry Gel Nail Polish, and 60 seconds to dry rhinestone gem glue. I have never done the Rhinestone gem glue myself. But now I am quite curious about it. In your package you will get 1 dryer, 1 power cord, 2 nail files, and an instruction pamphlet. The nail files are the larger ones, and are quite handy to have and use. The power cord is detachable and is a 2 prong plug, which can be used on an extension cord. It is a 36W lamp. If you mess up and get the inside of the dryer dirty, you can detach the base, for easy cleaning. The digital screen on it is pretty large, and very clear to read. They use bright white LEDs for the readout. So, at a quick glance you can see where you are at, time wise. The dryer runs fairly quiet, like what I am used to. Overall, this is a very well made product, and it does its’ job well. I really love the large size of it. I can’t express that enough. After working with this nail dryer/UV light, I have absolutely no complaints. Everything works as it should, and it is so easy to clean and use. I am very happy with this product.

I love the holidays, all of them. I also love jewelry. Jewelry personalization is a lot of fun. It adds a whole new layer to the enjoyment of jewelry. I love that more companies are offering a version of clear lockets, and locket charms. A Touch Of Dazzle has a great variety of jewelry. I was very happy to get acquainted with this company. I ordered their Joy To The World Christmas Necklace Charms Locket. It is absolutely adorable, and oh so Christmassy.

They offer all types of jewelry: earrings, dangles, bangle bracelets, bracelets, charm necklaces, charm sets, necklaces, key chain charms, and even a DIY Locket Party Set. I’ve never seen a DIY party set before, for sale. What a fun idea! So many age groups would really enjoy that. A lot of their jewelry is even 18KT gold plated, or Rhodium plated, for those of you with metal sensitivities.

I absolutely love, love, love the Joy to the World necklace, I received. They have other versions of the same necklace, as well as charm packs, for purchase. The case surround is encircled with pretty, sparkly red crystals around it. It arrived nicely packaged, in a jewelry gift box. Perfect for gift giving. The necklace itself is stainless steel, which is very durable, and long lasting. It won’t turn on you, like other metals, and shouldn’t bother most people. My guys love stainless steel jewelry, as do I. The charms included with my locket are: 1 Joy to the World plate, 3 green floating crystals, 1 gold tone star, 1 wreath, 1 candy cane, and 1 Santa. I love them. Not only are they so cute, but the detail is perfect. The locket stays closed tightly due to the strong magnets used. It shouldn’t just pop open you. There is an indent on the right side of the locket, where you place your nail into it to pry it open. It’s pretty easy to do. Both sides of the locket are clear glass. The chain opens and closes via a lobster claw clasp. I find this type of clasp to be easier to do by oneself, and more reliable too. That has been my personal experience. I love that lockets like this can be changed out. You do not have to order a whole new necklace just to change the look and feeling of it. You can just order new charms. I love charms, especially ones this tiny. They add that touch of whimsy and personality that I really love. The chain on this necklace it a 22” chain with the extender. The extender has a pretty oval charm on it that states A Touch of Dazzle. Overall, this is a well made, and festive necklace. It is absolutely perfect for the holidays! I love it.

I received three bracelets. They look very similar, but they are all slightly different. Each bracelet has a white, glass bead, base, along with some silver beading. One has a solid stripe that covers about a third of the bracelet. Another has what I refer to as a candy cane stripe effect. Lastly, the third one has a fun pattern that encircles the bracelet. They offer, on their website, bracelets in sets, solids, and patterned singles. They have so many different colors, and designs available. You may end up finding you want them all. They offer free shipping worldwide too, so getting them all may be feasible, lol. If you are ordering from another country, they have options to pay in different currencies. In regards to fit, I really didn’t see any size options available, just the one size. I wear a regular size 7 bracelet, and it is normally a flowy look for me. I do not wear a lot of snug bracelets. They are great in the colder months, when most people wear higher necklines. That way your jewelry still shows and shines. The clasps on the ones that have them, are lobster claw clasps, and easy to do on your own. They are pretty comfortable on. I did have to use the extensions on the ones that have them. The other ones were comfortable too, since they are stretchy. My set arrived in perfect condition, and each choker was wrapped individually, in case you want to break up the set as gifts. I really like how they included a velvet drawstring storage bag to save them in. It makes storing them a lot easier. Overall, these are well made, pretty, and comfortable to wear. It’s a fun set.

It’s boot weather now! – Blogory’s 2 Pack Women Short Crochet Boot Cuffs Toppers.

t’s fall fashion time, and there are so many cute pieces to choose from. Even if you live in a warmer climate, you can still enjoy something like this. I can easily see boot cuffs with a pair of cute boots and shorts. These boot cuffs are the Dickies of the boot world, lol. They literally function the same way. They offer a look of a thick, and well styled boot sock, without being the actual thick bulky sock. They can be worn with both ankle boots, and regular boots. I think they are really cute with cowboy boots, that’s what I have. You actually get two sets of cuffs in this order: 1 beige, and 1 black pair. They are pretty generous in size, and should fit a variety of women. I had tried on a pair like these, but a little different in style, and I popped a seam with my calf, lol. I do not have bird legs, but they are not large either. My calf size is 13.5 inches around the widest part. These are not like that at all. I am really happy to see that. Since they stick into your boot, they don’t slide on you either. Each boot cuff has a fold over look to it. This fold over is sewn down in place in a couple spots. There are also 2 buttons on each cuff.

Unfortunately, on one of my black boot cuffs, one button was dangling. It only takes a little thread and some time, to tighten back on, but, it’s not something I want to do with a new item. On the other hand, these cuffs are currently only priced at $8. For both pairs, which is really cheap. These boot cuffs are made out of 95% acrylic and 5% spandex. They did not have any funky odor to them upon arrival. The loose button was the only issue I could find on them, as well. I really looked too, after seeing the loose button. They are so easy to use, so they are a no brainer for the fall and winter seasons. You literally just slip them on, put your boots on, and tuck the ends into your boot. That’s it! Overall, these are really cute, and very stylish for the fall and winter seasons. Fingers crossed quality control will be better, in regards to the buttons, that is.

So warm and cozy. – Natural Feelings Oblong Woven Cotton Soft Frilly Winter Scarf Shawl for Women.

Fall is here, and winter is around the corner. I love the comfortable, cozy feeling of winter clothes. I am all for comfort during the winter months. I hate being cold, though. That’s where warm clothing comes into play. I tend to wear mostly cotton nowadays, due to my long list of allergies. It is so had to find quality, and warm winter clothing made out of cotton. I understand that manmade fabrics can be warmer, but they are unhealthy for your skin and body. Some of the fabrics have such loose fibers, that you actually end of inhaling them, which is also so bad for your body.

I was so thrilled to find this winter scarf from Natural Feelings. What an appropriate name, too. It is soft, thick, and plush. The size of it lends to the ability to do so many styles with it, too. Thank goodness for our online. You can find so many ways to wrap a scarf online, nowadays. I grew up with the basic tie knowledge, so I am loving the new trends. This scarf measures out at 6’ long, and 2 feet wide. That includes the fringe. My scarf arrived in perfect condition. I had no holes, odor, loose threads, snags, or any imperfections on mine. It arrives in a black plastic bag. The bag has a ziplock feature to it, and minute holes in it. This allows you to reuse the bag for storage and travel. I love the idea of less waste.

They state that the fringe has an oblong design to it, and is handmade. You can tell where it was hand pulled to create the fringe, and it does indeed leave a pretty pattern to that specific area on the scarf. I’ve honestly never paid that much attention to fringe before. I guess I’ve been taking it for granted, lol. I ordered the scarf in their pretty “Silver” color. The Silver color is really a soft palate of grey, pink, blue, white and beiges. The grey is the base of the scarf, and the other colors make up the pattern. Since the palate is so soft, these colors can go with almost anything. I really love it. There are two bolder color choices to choose from, also. One of which reminds me of the color scheme from a Burberry scarf. This is their “Black” color choice. Then, the last choice they have the scarf available in is their “Red” color choice. This one has a lot of dark burgundy tones in it. It’s very rich in color. Overall, this is a well-made all cotton scarf. It’s soft, and comfortable, and surprisingly thick as well. It’s definitely going to be a warm and pretty scarf this winter.

Fashion and Boots, Yeah Baby! – Abusa’s Women’s Heeled Buckle Leather Ankle Boots.

Fashion is important to so many people. A part of fashion, of course, is engulfed in footwear. The amount of different styles out there is immense, too. Boots are a great fashion pick. I have a go to pair I absolutely love, but they are cowboy boots and do not go with everything. So, it’s nice to have a classic pair, that can even be worn year round. This particular pair of boots from Abusa is like that. They are a pretty ankle boot that can be worn with a skirt or dress during the warmer months, or with a pants suit to jeans. I chose the black pair which are made out of dyed calfskin leather, and the sole is rubber. They do offer them in a suede finish, in “skin beige” and “wine red”. I was really torn on which pair I wanted, because the wine red is so pretty. I decided to go with the smooth leather, so I chose the black pair. I have a pair of Abusa sandals and love them because of the quality and comfort.

So, I couldn’t wait to test out their ankle boots. They do run true to size, but since they have a tapered, rounded toe, I ordered up a ½ size, and they fit perfectly, and comfortably first time out. I’m so glad I ordered the 8. I can even wear a sock for added comfort. I hate shoes that pinch! I won’t even wear them once, if they are not comfortable. The leather quality in these boots is so sumptuous! It is soft, and supple, and let your feet be happy. It is so hard to find quality leather shoes anymore. I hate pleather boots. They make your feet sweat and smell. I also can’t stand hard leather, that has been treated in chemicals. Half the time it’s not full leather, but leather that has been laminated onto another material, and then it starts to crack and peel. And now, they are starting to use leather to describe manmade materials. It is getting to be so hard to trust what you are buying. With this brand, I have only ever experienced top quality.

I even own a pair of their ballet flats, which has the same beautiful leather on them. These ankles boots have a buckle on them, but slip on via the side zipper that is on the inside side of the boot. The zippers function smoothly, and I have not had any issue with them. They use YKK brand zippers. They stay put, and do not slide down while you’re walking. They are also very easy to walk in as well since the soles are rubber. The heel is only just over 2” in height, which is a very comfortable height to deal with. Lol. I cannot walk in taller heels to save my life. So, no worries with these out of the box. These really are a go to pair of boots. They go well with many styles of clothing. The quality is perfect, and they run true to size. The come in a sizes 6-12, which cover most women, but only come in a medium with. Remember to order accordingly though, because of the tapered, rounded toe. I absolutely love these boots.
