Another great tumbler. – Simple Modern Vacuum Insulated 30oz Stainless Steel Tumbler.

Let me tell you, we had been converted Tervis people. Then, my son moved us over to the Yeti stainless cups. We have officially been converted over to the Yeti side, lol. I have tried other competitor brands, but this is my first 30oz competitor cup. I use my 30oz Yeti every day! I just love it. So, I was very, very curious and excited about testing out this competitor. I love the challenge. This mug looks just like my Yeti. It has a smaller bottom area, so it can fit in my car cup holder. I will not use a cup, if it doesn’t fit in my car. My throat swells shut all of the time due to numerous life threatening allergies. My throat is always swollen and sore. I always have a cup fully of an icy drink to sip on, 24/7. My throat wakes me up during the night, and I sip on the icy drink. It really helps. So, it is very important to me that my cup can keep my drink cold for an extended period of time. I did an ice test on this cup first thing. I filled it to the top with ice, and then placed the top on. The top has silicone rings around it, and it creates a great seal. Mind you, there is a drinking hole in the lid. You can fit a narrow straw through this. I have thin stainless steel straws that we use with these cups. After 25 hours, there was actually still some ice left in the cup. It performs as well as my Yeti, which makes me very happy!!!! It even comes in 8 different color choices, for no additional cost. It is made out of 18/8 stainless steel, and has the double wall construction. It is toxin free, chemical free, and safe to drink both hot and cold liquids out of it. My husband took his coffee to work with him. He had a 3 hour drive to the office, too. He is very happy with how this cup is performing with hot liquids. The double wall construction is great. I wouldn’t have it any other way. The cup never sweats. It is comfortable to both hold and drink out of this cup. You can put steamy hot coffee right from the Kuerig in here, and not feel the heat through the cup. We haven’t been able to find any negatives with this cup. It has held its own against our Yeti. The clearest portable projector! – iProjector’s Syhonic S70GP 1080P Full HD LCD LED Mini Portable Multimedia Home Theater Projector.

Projectors are a lot of fun. My husband is like a kid in a candy store when I mention the word projector. He just loves them. So, I am obviously not new to projectors. They are a fun addition to any family. I was really excited to be able to try this one from Syhonic. It’s a really nice projector, and so easy to operate. Instructions are included with this unit, and it’s only a fold out pamphlet. But, it really isn’t needed. The chart that lets you know what some of the buttons on the remote are for, is pretty handy though. Directions aren’t really needed because the menu screen on the projector is very clear to navigate through. That alone equals love to me, lol. You can be brand new to operating a projector, and be fine using this one.

This projector comes with: 1 lens cap, 1 HDMI cord, 1 Power Cable, 1 instruction pamphlet, One 3-in 1 AV Cable, and 1 Remote Control. The controller needs 2 AAA batteries to operate, and they are not included. No worries, you can operate the projector just as easily without the remote. The operational buttons are all located on top of the projector. The headphone port and SD card slot are on the side of the projector. The 2 HDMI ports, 1 USB port, 1 AV port, 1 VGA port, and 1 TV input port (RF connection) are on the back of the projector. The IR for the remote is also located on the left side of the back of the projector. There is a dial to tune in your focus on the top of the projector, as well. Underneath the projector you will find 1 leveling leg. Just unscrew it until you reach the height it needs.

The remote is so easy to use as well. Make sure you are aiming towards the IR on the back of the projector, though. You can turn it on and off, and run through all the functions with the remote. The menu button is actually clearly labeled on the remote as well. Once you turn on your projector, press the menu button. You will see the choices clearly labeled for you. I love this. Once you pick your category, just follow through the menu options. It’s that simple. It amazes me that there is even a TV tuner with this projector. You will need to connect it to a digital antenna though to pick up a channel. This unit can operate in 12 different Country languages. The remote, however, has English printed on some of the buttons. The size of the projector is great. It measured out at 7 ¾” long, 3 ¼” thick, and 6 ¼” deep, for me. We like to play movies through our. That is mostly what we use projectors for, that nd pictures. You can plug right into your computer to play them, use a USB stick, or a micro SD or SD card, to do so. If you use a micro SD card, you need to use a SD card adapter to do so. That is what we have been doing. It did not like one of our generic SD card adapters. It wouldn’t allow the volume to come through. It did however, work perfectly with other adapters of ours. When you use the SD card, you have to slide it in upside. I found that so funny. It won’t even begin to fit in the other way either. The volume isn’t the loudest on this projector. Is it loud enough to hear, yes. It might not be if you are outside, or have noisy children though. No worries, you can hook it up to an external speaker for added listening power, if needed. We did not need to in home. I cannot get over the picture on this thing. It is clear, and it is bright. This projector boasts 1200 lumens and you can tell. We have had projectors that did not have that many lumens, and you couldn’t get a big enough picture with it, for good viewing. This is a 1080P Full HD projector. The picture is large and it is crystal clear. You will absolutely love it, we sure do!

As an example on how easy this projector is to operate, I will write out the steps:

1. Power on, and then press the Menu button.

2. Press the arrow button until the Movie Section is highlighted, then press the OK button.

3. Now you will see a section named C, press the OK button.

4. Now, scroll to your desired movie, and press the OK button.

5. It will then start loading, and will go onto play your movie.

That is how simple it is to do any of the actions. I love how you can attach this to so many devices. You pretty have any venue at your fingertips with this projector. As a media projector, this is wonderful, absolutely wonderful.

The perfect grind. – AFL Product’s Manual Coffee Grinder with Conical Ceramic Burr.

We are big coffee drinkers in my family. We love drinking organic coffee. I have insane food allergies and we get it now and then. We buy whole bean and grind it ourselves, for even more yummy freshness. There really is a difference in flavor. We have an electric grinder, but I have to admit, manual grinders are better on coffee beans. My husband really prefers it, and so do I. It’s quieter, lol, and the manual grinders are easier to clean and maintain. They do a better job on the grind as well. There is a ceramic burr in this one. In our personal experience, ceramic lasts longer, and does an amazing job in grinding. It keeps it’s “sharpness” a lot longer than traditional metal. You can adjust and set your coarseness. Just do it before putting your coffee beans in it, lol. If you are using a coffee press, or putting it into a Keurig cup, and need a coarser grind. That is easy with this. I do it and use my Keurig cups for the most part. It works perfectly. This grinder is made out of stainless steel. It is pretty durable and perfect for travel. Stainless also doesn’t naturally harbor bacteria, mold, or fungus. Included in this set is the grinder, a handle, a storage bag, and a cleaning brush. You just need to provide the muscle power and the coffee beans. The handle does not screw on. It is a separate piece that just gets placed on top while you use it. The top cap comes off, and that is where you place your coffee beans. The ground coffee then falls into the lower portion of the unit, and gets stored there until you need it. You can see the ground amount in it. There are two clear panels in the lower compartment. This particular unit is also compatible with the Aeropress, if you have it. I do not own it, so I was unable to test that out personally. The bottom portion was hard to remove the first time out. I was able to rock it back and forth and get it off that way. After that one time, it was easy to do, like my other manual grinders. If you travel a lot for pleasure, or work, this is perfect for you. You can easily make fresh coffee on the go with this unit. I love that they included both the cleaning brush and the drawstring storage bag. They really did think of everything. After you grind your coffee, just use the brush to clean out the top portion and what is visible of the grinder. That’s all you have to do. It really takes no muscle at all to grind it. Even when I am weak after an anaphylactic reaction, I can turn this grinder. I think people hate to hear the word, manual, lol. Don’t scare away from it with this. It really is easy to do, and quick to do as well.

We love coffee in our home. My guys are big drinkers of the coffee, and so is my mom. That is pretty much all my mother drinks. I was really excited when I saw these spoons. I mean, I have tea infusers, but I had never heard of coffee ones; brilliant! You can use these at work and have fresh, yummy coffee, so easily. There are two in this package. That is great for a couple, or if you want to leave one at home, and one at work. These work like tea infusers too. These particular coffee filter spoons are made out of stainless steel mesh and BPA free plastic. The plastic handles keep you from burning your fingers. They do not absorb the heat form the hot coffee like metal would. The basket slides, so do not try to open it. I almost broke mine doing that. Such a duh moment for me. The top literally just slides to the right to open. Grab the tab at the end of the spoon part, and push it to the right. Then fill it with your fresh ground coffee, and place it in your cup of hot water. It works better for course ground coffee, otherwise some grounds will get into your cup. Just stir it in your cup, and then let it steep for a few minutes. Almost just like a coffee press, and tea infusers. So simple, quick, and easy. Then after your coffee, just open it up, dump the grounds, and rinse out the spoon. These are dishwasher safe, but rinsing them out by hand is faster. If you are using them at work, rinsing them would be your only option anyway. You can use these in RV’s, hotels, at work, camping, and more. It’s really a neat new kitchen gadget to have.

I am a LED nut, just love them! We have switched a lot of the household over to LED bulbs over the year, including outside, and we have noticed a drop in the electric bill. It was a lot larger than anticipated as well, so happy dance time. I just love them. Our kitchen chandelier takes the candelabra size, and all of our other lamps and lights take the standard size bulb. I really like these two from Atek. The candelabra bulb is a 6W LED, and the standard sized Atek bulb is a 9W LED bulb.

The candelabra bulbs are so well made. They are so solid in hand, it’s impressive. It’s definitely a different feel from the incandescent type, that I always feel like I am going to break. You get two in a package of these. They are very well packaged too, so no worries of them breaking during shipment. These LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours. That is a long time! This is a replacement for the traditional 40-60W incandescent bulbs, so they are pretty bright. These do not have a light filter on them, so they are best used in a shade situation, or they can be too bright on the eyes. This is not a dimmable light. But it is a really nice warm white light. They are a tad longer than the 30-40W equivalents. These measure out at 5.5” long from bottom to tip.

The regular everyday bulb has the eye filter built into it, so It affords plenty of light, but is still nice on the eyes. This is a 9W bulb and is equivalent to a 60-75W incandescent bulb. Which is pretty bright, and really lightens a room. It is rated to last 35,000 hours. I love how durable these bulbs are. I don’t have to worry about my kids goofing around. I had one of my sons break their compact fluorescent that was in their ceiling fan. Those have powdered Mercury in them, which is highly toxic. What a nightmare that was to clean up. You can’t vacuum it, because it kicks it and disperses it in the air. He didn’t sleep in his room for a week, and I had to throw so much away. These have no chemicals in them, last a long time, and are so durable. These are perfect for a child’s room. They offer a cool white light, and are non-dimmable.

Overall, these lights are solid, and offer bright, clear light. They are non-toxic and safe for the environment. They are very energy efficient, and will save you money on your electric bill.

Performs like my Yeti! – Kryogear’s KRYO KUP – 20oz Tumbler Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug.

I am a big fan of these new double walled stainless steel cups. We have the name brand one, Yeti, already. I was excited to compare the two. I like a challenge. This particular cup is by Kryogear on Amazon, and it is the 20oz version. They have the name Kryo nicely etched on the side of the cup. That is literally the only difference between the Kryo cup and the Yeti cup. My cup came with 1 lid and 1 stainless steel straw. It is supposed to come with two lids, but that was of no concern to me, so I never said anything. If that happens to you, you can request the 2^nd lid. This cup is made out of 18/8 stainless steel. It is thick and durable. I love stainless. It doesn’t naturally harbor fungus, bacteria, or mold. The lid has a great seal on it and works perfectly. I placed ice in the cup, and after 12 hours of sitting in my living room/kitchen combo space, it had melted approx.. only a 1/6^th of the way. I was very impressed indeed. It matches up to the Yeti perfectly. This cup is comfortable to hold when it’s full of ice. Since it is made with a double wall of stainless, hot drinks stay hot longer as well, and is just as comfortable to hold. We love using our cups like this one. I always keep a drink on hand with a ton of ice, even when I go out. I suffer from frequent anaphylactic reactions, and my throat is always sore and swollen. I have to have an icy drink with me. I can rely on this cup to even stay icy throughout the night! I can’t express how important this is to me. I love how they include the straw with the cup. It’s great for those who don’t have a supply on hand already. I love using our stainless straws. Yet again, no chemical worries. With this set up there will be no chemicals leaching into your drinks. A great way to detect moisture lurking in your home. – Sgot’s Obecome LCD Display Digital Wood Moisture Meter.

Years ago I was a Real Estate agent for a while. It was important to make sure the inspector tested areas for moisture during a home inspection. Every since then I have realized about the importance of knowing these things. I think it should be part of your household tools. Water is so damaging to your home and health, if mold starts to grow because of it. This particular unit from Sgot comes with the 9V battery, and a great zippered storage case to keep it in. The instructions are written in broken English, lol, but are still easy to follow. This unit will give you a lower power indicator. If you are using this for your job, I suggest carrying an extra battery with you. It is simple to operate. The top of the unit comes off with a push of the button, and pull of the top, at the same time. The battery compartment can be accessed without a tool, so it’s quick and simple to place the battery in it. The power button is clearly marked on it as well. After you take the top off, turn it on, and place the spikes into what you are testing. They recommend about 5mm. Instead of questioning if you have a slow leak in your shower, test it. If you think the water is flowing to far toward your home, check your exterior walls, and see if they are holding moisture. And so on, and so on. The LCD screen on this unit is large and clear. It will work in temperatures ranging from 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 104degrees Fahrenheit. It is small, lightweight, and high portable. The measuring range is 5 – 40% with a +/-1% accuracy. When you are doing a wall check, let’s say, you want to work your way up from the base to see how far the water issue is running. This unit even has the ability to store some of your recent measurements. That is pretty handy if you are checking multiple areas. Overall, I am pretty happy with this unit. It’s easy to use and read. What else can you ask for.

Meet the Dragon from Vomach.

I live in a home of gamers, lol. Especially computer gaming. These headphones are definitely getting some use. The have two 3.5mm cables and one USB cable attached to it. The USB is to power the green LED lighting throughout the headphones. I love the green LED lighting on these Vomach Dragon headphones. It really adds to the gaming environment. The mic on these actually lights up green as well. You do not have to use the LED lighting in order to use the headphones. My younger son’s computer isn’t set up for him to use the LEDs while using the headphones, unfortunately. My computer is, as well as my older son’s. One Aux cable powers the mic and headphones, and one just does the headphones, and no mic. No, they are not labeled, lol. My younger son always speaks to his friend while they play games, and the mic has been very clear for him. There is a mic off switch and a volume control bar, part way down the 2meter cable, and they are very easy to operate. It’s pretty generous in size, which is good for him, because he can’t sit still. The mic is clear on both ends too. You will not have to yell and keep repeating yourself with this one. I listened to videos and the sound is very clear. Both the bass and instrumental were pretty level. No weird pitches, no static, or lag. My son says they are perfect. And he is not a fan of headphones. He’d rather scream into the computer. It’s a lot of fun, lol. The ends of the Aux cables are gold plated for enhanced performance. The headband itself has a spring loaded adjustment to fit your head, and allow for comfortable movement and fit. The ear padding is very soft on the ears as well. On the inside of the ear cups you will see a screen printed Dragon; a nice touch if I do say so myself. Overall, we are very pleased with the Dragon from Vomach.

This little guy is actually quite heavy. I knew it was weighted, but I was still surprised. The outside has a rubber coating, but when you turn it over you can see the metal threading in case you want to mount it. So, it is obviously metal on the inside. This holder will help keep up to 4 wires more organized, and thus hopefully, tangled free. This holder does not hold onto thin USB wires in a snug manner. They are loose fitting, but they remain there as they should. If you position this, where you would be moving the wires in an upward motion a lot, they will come out if they are thinner wires. I hate getting my wires tangled. I test a lot of items, and I am always moving and inter changing plugs and USB wires. This does help the insanity when you have multiple wires in a small space. Just position it well. I like how small it is, it really doesn’t take up much space at all. It measures out at just over 3 inches long and just under 2 inches wide. It is definitely a durable and long lasting piece.

Time to be louder! – Pyle Voice Amplifier PA MP3 Bluetooth Speaker.

Sometimes you just need to be a little louder. This new toy from Pyle will definitely let you do that to. It is a small, and lightweight personal amplifier, Bluetooth player, recorder, and FM radio. You will get 1 charging cable, 1 unit, and 1 headset in your package. Do not lose the charging cable, it is not a micro USB cable. Once it’s charged up, it’s fairly easy to use. It pairs very quickly as Pyle Audio and no code is needed to pair. It gets really loud, lol. Be careful not to get the microphone close to the amplifier. You will get this deafening high pitched squeal sound; it’s horrible! This unit has a belt clip on it for easy carry. So, you can walk around with the headset on, and have the freedom of your hands. If you are using this as an amplifier to give a class, or a presentation, you can still use your hands to show displays or go over charts and graphs. The Bluetooth mode plays your music, or audio books quite well. There are buttons to go back or forth through your playlist. The volume control is the on/off turning knob on the top of the unit. The mode button is the multipurpose button. Press and hold it to change the mode. It does tell you what mode, plus it displays the mode on the LCD screen, on the front of it. You can also save your radio stations to designated buttons, on the front of the unit. If you supply your own micro SD card, you can record and playback on it too. You can also play your own music from your micro SD card. My husband loves to sing, so he is definitely using it for Karaoke as well. The FM radio is by far my least favorite feature on this unit. The volume control isn’t great on this machine. It’s easy to get it very loud, and almost off, lol, but in-between is not that doable. Especially with the radio. There is an antenna to pull out which does help with the FM reception. As a PA system, I think it works great. It’s loud and clear. The headset is lightweight and comfortable on. It is also very adjustable too. They have an FCC disclaimer on their ad, and let’s just say, I’m not happy about all the control there is on everything nowadays, lol. So, Here is their disclaimer:

Overall, this is a great personal PA system. It’s fun to sing on, especially since you can record. You can’t go wrong with Bluetooth either. You can’t beat it for the price.
