A beautiful dress. – Yazaco’s Vintage Swing Dress

I was so excited to get this dress. I have a lot of fabric sensitivities, and it’s so hard to find a dress nowadays that is not primarily made out of Polyester. I went to JCpennys, Belks, and Sears. Looked online, and Polyester, Polyester, Polyester, is all I saw. I really hate that fabric. Companies are switching to it because it is a cheaper fabric, and dresses snag easier, and wear faster. It means more turnover, and more profit for them. This dress is actually made out of 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex. The dress is just so beautiful. Nothing moves like Cotton, feels like Cotton, or Breathes like Cotton, but Cotton. I was also so relieved that the dress arrived in perfect condition.

 

It really is a quality dress. All of the stitching was done tight and on point. The zipper works perfectly. There were no odors, stains, holes, tears, snags, or imperfections. It is just perfect. Their size chart is off to the side, so do not use Amazon’s size chart. I wear a 36C bra, so I ordered the Large. I never go by waist size. I am short waisted anyhow, lol. But, since this dress either has to go over your hips, or slid on overhead, you need to make sure it can clear your hips or your shoulders. The zipper only goes down to the top of the waist line. I was able to step into this dress with no issues. I did however, need help to fully zip the dress. I couldn’t fully reach the zipper behind me. The zipper stays put on this dress. It won’t slide down on you and be embarrassing. I did not need a slip with this dress either. The front area, along the breast line, wrapped around to the back, is lined. That, and the material is thick enough not to be see thru. It really is made really well. The piping and seaming were done perfectly. I just love it. No, when it comes to washing it, they suggest hand wash only with cool water. Now, I do not hand wash, but I have a machine with no agitator. It’s basically a flat agitator. If you have a washer like that, you could put this dress in a lingerie bag with the zipper on the dress, zipped up. Then, wash it on the delicate setting, alone in the washer; problem solved, lol. The dress measures out at 42” long from the top of the back neckline, to the bottom hem. It’s a great length dress for most women, which is a great attribute to this dress. They offer it in sizes S-XXL, as well as 7 other patterns and design of dress as well. Overall, this is a well-made, beautiful dress. It fits a female figure beautiful, and is figure flattering, and forgiving. We are all not tall bean poles, and this dress doesn’t care.

Brings your wine to the next level. -Moderna Housewares’ Ozeri OW05A Prestige Electric Wine Bottle Opener.

Wine anyone? I wish, right. We do drink wine on occasion in our household. I normally just use my “everyday” corkscrew bottle opener too. This wine bottle opener from Ozeri, takes it to the next level; the fancy level. This is a fun item to pull out with company. In your package you will get 1 electric wine bottle opener, 1 AC power cord, 1 charging base/stand, 1 foil cutter, 1 pourer/aerator, and 1 instruction booklet. Yes, a charging base. No batteries required. This is a rechargeable unit, and the plug that attaches to the base/stand is a US 2 prong plug. Even though the wine opener looks really large, it is actually pretty lightweight and easy to hold. It is made out of a mixture of materials, and the main body is coated in a rubber like material, like some phone cases are. It really helps for a sturdy grip. To operate it, there is only one long button. It has both up and down directional abilities. Press the top of the button to remove the cork from the wine bottle, and press the down button, to remove the cork from the opener.  It’s really easy to operate with your thumb too. This is their 2nd generation addition. The state they improved the battery size on this unit, and it can open 80 bottles on one charge. I am not buying 80 bottles, lol, so that will not be tested. I however, keep pressing the button to make it go, and it does last a long while. The base it sits on is pretty neat. It is coated in the same material, and has a cut out on the back of it. The foil cutter, slips into, and fits into this slot perfectly. It really makes for great and convenient storage. The base is very stable, and actually looks very nice as well. Having a foil cutter can really come in handy. We just opened a bottle of wine that had the toughest foil I’ve had to deal with in a long time. I had to use a knife, to make a break into it. I am so happy I have the foil cutter now. There is no slipping and cutting yourself with this one. Just wrap it around the top of the bottle, squeeze it, and turn it around the bottle. It will cut right through the foil, and let you remove the foil blocking you from the yummy goodness that’s inside. It is not super quiet. It sounds like an electric can opener. I feel that is a good comparison to the noise level. That is not an issue for me at all. The wine pourer/aerator will fit into most bottles. Just pour through it and it mildly aerates, as it pours. I do fully find that aerating your wines increases and brings out the favors in it. This is mild aeration, but it’s better than none. Especially when you buy cheaper wines, like we do, lol. The battery in it is not replaceable, like with a lot of electronics, so when it goes, it goes. The key is to not overcharge it. This will prolong the battery life. Since the power cord is separate from the base, just remove the plug with using it just as a stand. Just wait for the battery to drain down before recharging. Overall, this is a great working unit. It removes the cork within seconds, and with ease. It’s definitely a show piece for company too.

I love summertime. You can really show off your jewelry during this time of year. Especially your anklets. These two pieces of jewelry from J.Rosee are so feminine and beautiful. I have been nothing but happy with my other J.Rosee jewelry, so I was so happy to be able to review these pieces, and even more excited that they are matching pieces. One piece is a bracelet, and the other is its anklet doppelganger. They may be sold separately, but they make a perfect pair. The pieces are delicate looking, but well made. They are both made out of 925 Sterling Silver, and plated in 18K Rose Gold. So, no matter what, you should me perfectly safe with these, if you have metal sensitivities. I did have problems with my bracelet upon arrival. One strand separated from the clasp, where it was attached. The company was great and sent out a new one. No, they did not just do that because I was reviewing. 99.9% of the time, I do not get a replacement if something is wrong. Amazon does not replace broken items for reviewers. So, I was very happy to see the integrity of this company be so high. They wanted to learn and see if their design had any weaknesses. I actually have been sleeping in the anklet, as well, to see how durable it was, while waiting for my new bracelet. It is made the same, only longer. It has held up perfectly. I do say, that the anklet fits me perfectly, but it just fits. If you have larger ankles, this one may not be for you. If you have lager wrists, then this might be perfect as a bracelet for you. It is a feminine and beautiful piece and would look great as your bracelet. The plating was done well on the pieces, and have even put up with me showering with them on, lol. I really tested them out. When my replacement bracelet arrived, I was able to play with it and put it on without any problems. It fit well, and has put up with the same testing as the anklet. I have yet to remove the anklet, lol. I slept and showered with the bracelet on as well. It has held up wonderfully. I even picked up and moved some furniture today, and both pieces go unscathed. They are very comfortable pieces to wear as well. With the extender, the anklet measures out at approx.. 9 ¾”, and the bracelet with the extender measures out at approx. 7 ½”.  So, they will fit the average person without issue. I can’t express enough how much I love this set. I never sleep in bracelets or anklets. This set is very lightweight and comfy. I love how it matches too. It’s beautiful, and well made jewelry.

A modern, fresh look. – Infinite Charming Jewelry Silver Tone Bar and Ball Layered Necklace.

Infinite Charming Jewelry’s Silver Tone Bar Bell Necklace. Such a modern piece, I love it. I love the layered look with the bar against the ball. It’s quite geometric in design, yet so beautiful on. I love summertime, because your jewelry can really shine as part of your outfit. This particular necklace will be so pretty in anything from a tank top to a dress. I also think its suitable for a large age range. This necklace has a pretty dual chain. The chain itself was designed so it sparkles a lot when the light hits it just so. I use jewelry to help me express my mood as well as change up my outfits. I have my favorite pieces of clothing that I wear all of the time, so a piece of jewelry can help change it up, lol. I know a lot of people that do the same. This is a fun necklace. It has a layered design to it, and both chains link up and close via the same Lobster Claw clasp. The Bar chain is 17” long, and the Ball chain is 18.85” long. There is also a 2.16” extender on this necklace. So, it should fit a variety of women. The metal use is not stated, but they did state it was constructed out of a base metal. A base metal can be any non-precious metal. Copper, Nickel, and Brass are the common ones used. The high polished chrome shine was done well. My necklace arrived in perfect condition. It had no flaws, no discolorations, or scratches. The packaging this necklace arrived in is so gift worthy. It arrives in a velvet jewelry box, and the box was in a large, drawstring velvet bag. This set up really presents well, as well as is great at protecting the jewelry inside of it.

A very feminine bracelet. – Infinite Charming Jewelry “Pearl Teardrops” Rose Gold Plated Tennis Bracelet.

More beautiful jewelry from Infinite Charming Jewelry, yea! This is a really pretty one too. I love the Rose Gold Plating. It has such a warm glow and shine to it. This beautiful bracelet was inspired by The Little Mermaid. They state that this Pearl Teardrop bracelet symbolizes how she could not bear the sorrow that he did not know her love. So sweet. The links represent the teardrop with the simulated pearl at the end of each one. This pretty bracelet measures out at 6.6” long with a 1.2” extender. It fits beautifully, and flows wonderfully on my wrist. I am not a fan of tight fitting bracelets. I love how they package their jewelry. It is so gift worthy. This bracelet arrived in a velvet jewelry box, which was inside of a beautiful velvet drawstring gift bag. The bag is perfect for storing the bracelet when not in use. I find a microfiber jewelry cleaning cloth to be a great and easy way to keep your jewelry nice and clean. That will help protect the plating on this bracelet. This bracelet was made out of a base metal, with Rose Gold plating. A base metal can be any non-precious metal. Copper, Nickel, and Brass are the common ones used. My bracelet arrived in perfect condition. I have no flaws, chips, or discolorations. All my simulated pearls are set well, and in great shape. I love the story behind the bracelet. It adds a special sentiment to it.
