One warm and toasty ice scraper, by Otoo.

I really do not like cold weather, lol. I cannot express that enough. I also despise having to de-ice my car during the winter time. I have Raynauds, and my hands just freeze up, and get so painful. A lot of times, I will just turn my car on and let it heat up while I stay in my warm house. I let the defrost run, as well, to help out with the windows. I waste a lot of gas, but, with my Raynauds, it’s worth it. I still however, have to clean off all the ice and snow off of my car, so it doesn’t fly into others. We do not have much snow here, fortunately, but we do get a lot of ice. I have regular ice scrapers, as does the rest of my family. I, however, have never owned one like this before. I love the mitt design. The mitt is quite long, and fully covers your hand and wrist. The inside is lined with a warm, thick, black fleece. It’s not flat fleece, but a little shaggy, like faux fur. The material on the outside is quilted, and looks just like the ad, which I was glad to see. There is elastic on the mitt, which hits at the wrist area. This helps keep the cold air out. The thick plastic scraper just slides into the mitt, and out the opening of the top. Just hold onto it, and then do your scraping. I compared it to my regular scraper, and it is made just as well; no deficiencies. It even comes with a storage bag. I love simple things like that. The mitt material is pretty durable, and will help to keep your sleeve nice and dry while scraping, which is a great benefit. I used to live around the Boston area, and have vivid memories, of the ice and snow falling into my sleeve. Can you say, freezing!!!!!!!!!!!! It actually stung, lol. I really wish I had this mitt back then. Overall, this ice scraper mitt is well made, very affordable, and will be very beneficial on icy days.

So warm and cozy. – Natural Feelings Oblong Woven Cotton Soft Frilly Winter Scarf Shawl for Women.

Fall is here, and winter is around the corner. I love the comfortable, cozy feeling of winter clothes. I am all for comfort during the winter months. I hate being cold, though. That’s where warm clothing comes into play. I tend to wear mostly cotton nowadays, due to my long list of allergies. It is so had to find quality, and warm winter clothing made out of cotton. I understand that manmade fabrics can be warmer, but they are unhealthy for your skin and body. Some of the fabrics have such loose fibers, that you actually end of inhaling them, which is also so bad for your body.

I was so thrilled to find this winter scarf from Natural Feelings. What an appropriate name, too. It is soft, thick, and plush. The size of it lends to the ability to do so many styles with it, too. Thank goodness for our online. You can find so many ways to wrap a scarf online, nowadays. I grew up with the basic tie knowledge, so I am loving the new trends. This scarf measures out at 6’ long, and 2 feet wide. That includes the fringe. My scarf arrived in perfect condition. I had no holes, odor, loose threads, snags, or any imperfections on mine. It arrives in a black plastic bag. The bag has a ziplock feature to it, and minute holes in it. This allows you to reuse the bag for storage and travel. I love the idea of less waste.

They state that the fringe has an oblong design to it, and is handmade. You can tell where it was hand pulled to create the fringe, and it does indeed leave a pretty pattern to that specific area on the scarf. I’ve honestly never paid that much attention to fringe before. I guess I’ve been taking it for granted, lol. I ordered the scarf in their pretty “Silver” color. The Silver color is really a soft palate of grey, pink, blue, white and beiges. The grey is the base of the scarf, and the other colors make up the pattern. Since the palate is so soft, these colors can go with almost anything. I really love it. There are two bolder color choices to choose from, also. One of which reminds me of the color scheme from a Burberry scarf. This is their “Black” color choice. Then, the last choice they have the scarf available in is their “Red” color choice. This one has a lot of dark burgundy tones in it. It’s very rich in color. Overall, this is a well-made all cotton scarf. It’s soft, and comfortable, and surprisingly thick as well. It’s definitely going to be a warm and pretty scarf this winter.

Snowflake simplicity. – SolarDukes’ Snowflakes Solar Powered Garden Stake Lights.

The winter season is coming fast. Instead of just thinking of the ice cold weather that is coming, it’s fun to think of the decorations that surround the months, and the beauty and intricacy of the snowflake. Snowflakes are so beautiful. As children we are taught how to cut them out of paper, and to draw them as best as we can. They are just so beautiful. These particular solar lights from SolarDuke are really pretty too.

I am loving how sensitive the newer solar panels are, for something so small. The solar panels on these lights are only as big as my palm, yet, I was actually able to charge one in my window, during Hurricane Mathew. We needed something bright and cheery with all the darkness, wind, and rain. These lights are actually yard stakes that you put together easily. They are fully weatherproof as well. They stand about 32” tall, and will go on by themselves at nighttime.

These are LED lights as well, and are rated to last about 100,000 hours. Fortunately, the internal battery is replaceable, because it won’t last as long as the LEDs, lol. They rotate through 7 beautiful colors, and because of the clear plastic snowflake design, really glow in such a mesmerizing way. Under each solar panel, you will see a switch to turn it on and off, as needed. Otherwise just slide the stakes together, to assemble them, and place them out in the sun. They will go on at night and be off by morning.

The snowflakes are made out of a clear plastic. But they are actually pretty thick, and a little bigger than my fist. This is a set of two, so they would be really pretty flanking a doorway, or a garage door, walkway, gateway, and more. You can order more than one set, and then place them in pots along your deck. I love that no electricity is required. Your electric bill will not go up. They are not hot to the touch, and they are not too bright, and shouldn’t keep you awake at night. I love, love, love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, I’m sure you can tell by all of my gushing about them. These are a win, win for the winter season. They were a big hit in my household.

Be a fashionista this fall. -Blogory’s 2 Pack Women Short Crochet Boot Cuffs Toppers.

It’s fall fashion time, and there are so many cute pieces to choose from. Even if you live in a warmer climate, you can still enjoy something like this. I can easily see boot cuffs with a pair of cute boots and shorts. These boot cuffs are the Dickies of the boot world, lol. They literally function the same way. They offer a look of a thick, and well styled boot sock, without being the actual thick bulky sock. They can be worn with both ankle boots, and regular boots. I think they are really cute with cowboy boots, that’s what I have. You actually get two sets of cuffs in this order: 1 beige, and 1 black pair. They are pretty generous in size, and should fit a variety of women. I had tried on a pair like these, but a little different in style, and I popped a seam with my calf, lol. I do not have bird legs, but they are not large either. My calf size is 13.5 inches around the widest part. These are not like that at all. I am really happy to see that. Since they stick into your boot, they don’t slide on you either. Each boot cuff has a fold over look to it. This fold over is sewn down in place in a couple spots. There are also 2 buttons on each cuff. Unfortunately, on one of my black boot cuffs, one button was dangling.

It only takes a little thread and some time, to tighten back on, but, it’s not something I want to do with a new item. On the other hand, these cuffs are currently only priced at $8. For both pairs, which is really cheap. These boot cuffs are made out of 95% acrylic and 5% spandex. They did not have any funky odor to them upon arrival. The loose button was the only issue I could find on them, as well. I really looked too, after seeing the loose button. They are so easy to use, so they are a no brainer for the fall and winter seasons. You literally just slip them on, put your boots on, and tuck the ends into your boot. That’s it! Overall, these are really cute, and very stylish for the fall and winter seasons. Fingers crossed quality control will be better, in regards to the buttons, that is.

A Fall beauty. -Ivku Commercials’ Women Plaid Blanket Scarf.

Fall is among us, and the cold breath of winter is at our backdoor. The positive side of all that, is the pretty winter clothing that comes along with it. It’s nice to snuggle up and be warm and cozy. I know I love it. Unfortunately, you can’t always stay snuggled up, and you do need to venture outside, where you are quickly reminded about how much you love the summer time. Your winter outerwear is very important. For most people, fabrics aren’t an issue, and Acrylic is definitely a warmth keeper. This shawl/scarf is made out of acrylic, and it’s huge. I measured it at 57” x 57”. I could be a little off, and by a little, I mean a tiny bit. Every time I tried to measure the scarf, it would move with the measuring tape, lol. It was quite comical, actually. The colors of this shawl remind me of fall. You have such pretty shades of beige, red, green, blue, yellow, and white in here. It really would go with pretty much any color. You do not only have to wear it as a scarf with your winter jacket. It’s so pretty, and flows so nicely, it can easily be an important part of your wardrobe, as well. You can add a pin to it, and style it just so, over your shoulders. They have pretty shawls slides that they sell, that you can add to this as well, for a special look. You can wrap it around your waist line, for another dramatic look as well. You can really do so much with it.

Since it is really large, you could be non-conventional and drape it across your couch, chair, or bed. You can do a no sew window treatment for the winter months. You are pretty much limited to your own imagination with this product. There is a little bit of fringe on this shawl, but it is very short fringe, about ½” in length. I prefer the shorter fringe. It frays less, and your product lasts so much longer. If you have to machine wash it, I highly suggest cool water, and placing it into a lingerie bag. Then, just drape it through a hanger and let it air dry. Acrylic has a distinct smell to me. Some more so than others. This product was much lighter on the “sweater” smell than other acrylic products I came across shopping today. It’s that time of year, and our stores are filling up with warm acrylic clothing and accessories. To top it off, they even include a pair of stretchy gloves with this shawl. The color of my gloves is a deep, bright pink. It’s a fun color, and my mom loves that color, so they will be hers. It’s a fun added bonus, and a great perk. You can never have enough gloves during the winter months. They get wet, dirty, or, more than not, you lose one glove, at a time, constantly throughout the winter, lol. That is a common occurrence. I really can’t find any negatives with this product. My set arrived with no imperfections, and arrived quickly. I can’t do acrylic due to odd allergies, but my mother can, so she is the big winner here.

Fuzzy slippers! – Norty – Grizzly Bear Animal Claw and Paw Slippers.

My son was so excited to get these slippers. He picked out the Polar Bear ones, from the different designs offered. We measured our feet, and know our shoes sizes, and we ordered accordingly. Unfortunately, these slippers run very small, so I have an upset young man on my side. He wears a size 5, and I wear a 7 ½ women’s. His feet are slightly smaller than mine, and our toes are pressed at the end of them. That, by the way, isn’t comfortable at all. So, be careful ordering these size wise. Quality wise, they were what I was expecting. We’ve all seen fuzzy slippers at the stores around the holidays, because they make fun gifts. These are quite fuzzy, and you will get some fuzz coming off the slippers at first. The fake claws are done in a padded shiny white material. There are 4 claws on each slipper. Overall, really cute. Mine arrived with no odor to them at all. Overall, very clean. They are highly padded as well. The bottoms were covered with silicone dots, creating the non-slip grip. Which is imperative on non-carpeted flooring. There is a tag in the slippers, by the heel area. You may want to cut that out so it doesn’t rub your heel. I’ve noticed no holes on mine, and the only imperfections noted were the fuzz coming off, and that this style runs small. The fuzz does stop coming off, though, so no worries. I’ve experienced this with other fuzzy items, like jackets and stuffed animals, so I wasn’t surprised. Overall these are well made, provide a lot of padding, and are comfortable to walk in. Down side, this style (polar bear) runs small.
