Everyone dabbles in photography without even realizing it. If you love to take photos of our friends, children, fur babies, and more, than you dabble in photography. I also like to do videos at home, and my son wants to start doing some as well. I always thought that buying a backdrop would be expensive. I was wrong though. I really like the white washed brick design of this backdrop, along with the weathered wood floors. It’s a style that speaks to me, and goes with virtually any color. The size is 3ft wide by 5ft long. The material this particular backdrop is made out of is a thin vinyl, but it reminds me of a thin canvas material, in texture. For some reason, when I think of vinyl, I think of shower curtains, lol. This is far from that. I do wish that this had arrived wrapped around a tube. It arrives fully folded, and it is sooooooooo hard to get the fold marks out, initially. I never tried ironing it. I was afraid I would melt it. I put it into my dryer alone, for a few minutes only, and it took most of the fold marks out, but then it was a tiny bit wrinkly, lol. (Insert silent scream here.) It takes time and patience, and the wrinkles start to fade. As a backdrop, It’s great for portrait/still style photos due to the smaller size. Mine arrived with no odor. It had a couple threads to trim off. It is not seamed or stitched on the ends. I will continue to use it. It’s a little on the thin side, so you will need to be careful about light filtering through the backside. If you have a stand with a plain background on it, you can then attach this one in front of it, and then you won’t have an issue with light bleeding through. Otherwise, it really does not lend itself to professional photography.
