Tea is a staple in my daily routine. I absolutely love to drink a cup of hot organic tea with raw honey every night. I have frequent anaphylactic reactions and my throat is always swollen and raw. A good, healthy cup of tea always soothes it. I was quite pleased when I was afforded the opportunity to review Leafholic’s Cute Silicone Tea Infuser with Drip Tray in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. With an infuser, so many more varieties of tea are possible. You can even create your own special blend. My favorite tee to drink is one that encompasses all the antioxidants and properties that really soothe and help heal my throat. There is a big difference in my throat when I run out of my tea.
This Monkey infuser with the burgundy to red face is just precious and fun. This is the father in the series. When he heats up from your tea, his face turns from burgundy to red. It adds some whimsy to your tea. I love that. I also love the silicone. It’s so easy to care for, clean and store. Silicone can handle high temperatures. Make your tea water very hot, because you’ll want to have your tea steep for at least 4 minutes before drinking it. Having a drip tray is wonderful. You don’t have to jump up and run to the sink to put your infuser down. You can sit and relax and finish your tea, while still being snuggled up to your husband. That makes that drip tray priceless. Since this infuser sits on the brim and is soft, food grade, bpa free silicone, you can drink your tea while it is still attached. I leave it attached until my water line dips below the infuser. I want to make sure I get all the goodness of the tea leaves.
I am really enjoying this tea infuser. It holds the perfect amount of loose tea leaves. It fits on my favorite big, fat rimmed mug as well as regular coffee cups. Its pretty steady on the mug also. I was able to drink out of it with the infuser on it. The infuser never even moved. I definitely give it two thumbs.
