This is a fantastic first aid kit. With it’s added essentials, it moves more into the preparedness category. I am so pleased with this first aid kit, I am putting it into my vehicle as is. This case is constructed from a durable nylon material. The two inside pockets are vinyl with a nylon flap closure. This closure is Velcro for quick access. I like the clear vinyl pockets. It’s easier to see what’s in there at a glance. It’s also easy to clean and disinfect. This whole case can be washed on cold and air dried if need be. Not only do you have all the basics covered, but you also get a disposable cpr mask. Most kits do not have this in it. They are not as easy to get as one would think either. I finally have three now. 2 for in house, and this kit with the other, is going in my car. My mother suffers from multiple heart conditions, and I always want to be prepared. So many people won’t help nowadays without one. I’ve instructed my 20 year old son how to use it too. He was relieved to know I had them finally. I’m not sure if he would have been capable of doing cpr without one.
You will notice as you read about what’s in the kit, that they also include an emergency blanket, a light stick, a disposable raincoat, a whistle and a compass. This makes this perfect to throw in your pack or car. It truly becomes more of a preparedness kit. Everyone should carry one emergency blanket per person in their vehicle. They can be used for so many purposes, all the way from warmth to signaling. You can research online on all the things you can use an emergency blanket for. You’ll be amazed. I already have 4 of them in my personal vehicle, and my spouse and child have some in theirs too.

My family and coffee go hand in hand. Be it drinking it black to iced coffee. There is always someone in our home who wants a cup of joe. We are also very big into organic products. I have severe food allergies, and we have had to go that route. Finding a variety of good quality coffees isn’t as easy as you would think it would be. We were lucky enough to be afforded the opportunity to review their Organic Espresso Quatro Blend and their Organic French Roast whole bean coffees in exchange for an unbiased review. This was definitely a pleasurable product to review, lol.

We ordered their 12oz packages, whole bean. I try to grind a little at a time, so it is always very fresh. I tried the Espresso Quatro Blend first. I was amazed how smooth it was black. I am normally a on organic milk and stevia girl, but since I was reviewing, I went for the full flavor. I was expecting bitterness, and I received none. All I tasted was a rich, smooth flavor with hints of dark chocolate. I was very impressed.

The Organic French Roast was no less delicious. There is really something to be said about organic coffees. They are so smooth. I am in no way the black coffee drinker in this family. I was able to drink both the espresso and this French Roast, black. This French Roast was smooth, and rich. The flavoring was different of course from the espresso. I tried to see if I could detect all the flavors I read about n the coffee descriptions. I think I was able to detect a hint of vanilla in this French Roast. Maybe some chocolate too. I do know it was quite good. I personally have never tried to detect flavors in coffee before this. It was actually kind of fun, a challenge you can say.

Ordering online was very easy to do. They give pretty great descriptions about their coffees. I received my coffee pretty quickly, and received great email confirmations and updates with tracking. My family and I use a lot of essential oils. This goes hand in hand with using diffusers too. It’s the healthy way to get the benefits of essential oils while filling your home with wonderful scents. Store bought room fresheners are so unhealthy to use. They are just laden with harmful chemicals. I am so pleased that I was afforded the opportunity to review KOKO Aroma’s Eve Glass Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser at a reduced cost in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. They really package this well, so there should be no worries in this glass diffuser arriving in one piece. The diffuser was packed inside a box. This inner box was then surrounded by Styrofoam. They really take pride in their product.
This is my first glass diffuser. I think it makes for a beautiful accent piece in your home. They also supply the power adapter, and directions in the box. The glass piece itself lifts off. Then you will need to lift off the inner plastic cover. Here you will fill the unit with your water. It holds 60ml of water. It says to add 2 to 3 drops of your preferred essential oil to the water. I tend to add a little more. It’s trial and error per essential oil, to find the level you like. Then replace the plastic cover, and the glass outer cover. The DC plug attaches underneath the unit. The power button is on the side towards the bottom of the unit. You can choose to either have this diffuser run continuously for 2 hours or at 15 second intervals for 4 hours. It’s a quiet unit, and it has auto shut off. If the unit runs out of water, or when the water level gets too low, this unit will shut off so it can’t overheat.
Essential oils are not supposed to be heated up. Their chemical makeup changes and become unhealthy when heated. That’s why diffusers are perfect. They do not heat the water or oils at all. This unit is an ionizer. That is how it’s dispersed.
I love organic eucalyptus oil. We use it daily. It is wonderful for your respiratory system. It doesn’t hurt that it smells great too, lol. Eucalyptus oil really helps to open the sinuses and airways. It really helps with our allergies and my asthma. t’s a definite staple in our home. There are so many essential oils to choose from too. Fortunately, with the internet, you can do your research online to find the ones that will suit you the most.

I am a big Survivor Filter fan. I have the Survivor Filter Straw, and the straw is what made me a convert to this brand. I am beyond thrilled that I was afforded the opportunity to review this Survivor Filter Pro at a reduced price in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. We as a family are trying to slowly build our preparedness up. It’s a wonderful thought to know that in an emergency, and you are out of water, that you can find water safely for your family in other ways. You never know when a bad storm can strike, shutting you off from your water supply and you’re ability to get regular drinking water. These are also perfect and light enough, to take hiking and camping with you. The same holds true for long car trips. And these are only a few scenarios. We, as a people, tend to take our basic necessities for granted. Just take a moment and imagine, what if. Especially if you have a family that depends on you. That’s a sobering thought to me and my husband.
This Survivor Filter Straw and Pro are my favorites because of their size and replaceable filters. Their products also clean down to 0.01 microns. This is one of the best I have seen. The popular competitors clean down to 0.02 microns. I just love the fact that I can use replaceable filters instead of throwing out an entire unit. This unit uses three different filters. The first stage is the cotton pre filter. If you are cleaning highly dirty water make sure to replace this one frequently. It also needs to be replaced if you notice it start to yellow or grey in color. The second stage is the Carbon Filter and the third and last stage is the Ultra Filter. They give you great instructions on cleaning and replacing these filters with the unit. They also have a website: http://www.survivorfilter.com that has everything you need to know about their products. I like having a back up source of information for when I lose my paperwork, lol. It is so easy to set this unit up. One side of the unit has the hand pump. You have to unscrew the cap around the pump, to loosen it enough to pull the pump up. On this side of the unit is the port to attach the long tubing with the attached filter and floaters. You place this tubing into your water source. The other side of the unit has a port too. Attach the smaller tube to this port. It’s tight at first, but you will get it on. You place the other end of this tube into a cup or the cover to this unit, becomes a cup as I have shown in my photos. Then all you need to do is start pumping. Only use this on fresh water. This filter cannot turn salt water into drinking water.
A couple years ago a hurricane slammed into Haiti. These poor people didn’t have fresh water for the longest time. Absolutely devastating to the people. Many people ended up dying from disease brought on by the lack of clean water. These people ended up surviving on filter straws like these, while they were waiting for a fresh water source to be brought back to them. Fresh water really equals life. You cannot have life without it.
This Survivor straw is so easy and convenient to use. There is minimal waste since you can clean and replace the filters. They do suggest cleaning the filters, as described in their instruction manual, with vinegar. Years ago, I was an in home nurse for a baby on a vent, and more. We used to sterilize her equipment in vinegar. You need to have things soak for a minimum of 24 hours to sterilize in vinegar. I could not find a negative in this Survivor Filter Pro. It’s a fabulous size to use for either one person or a family. My husband is also in the Army. Now that I have this unit, he will be keeping the Survival Straw with him. I highly recommend the Survival Filter Pro. I will be getting more of their products for my family.

I am really happy with this security camera set up. We have been wanting to get one, so we were excited to get this one. It is so small and compact and easy to set up. My husband is a commercial electrician and deals with a lot of security systems with these businesses. He was very happy with this camera. We are both quite pleased that I was afforded the opportunity to review this Conbrov Group’s HD028 Home Security Infrared PIR Camera at a reduced cost in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. In this box you will get everything needed to set up the camera and a great warning your on camera sticker for your window.
This is an infrared camera. You will need to supply your own micro SD memory card. They suggest a class 10 or higher for better quality. It can detect motion up to 30ft and night vision up to 24 feet. That will really cover the area where you hang this camera. It will record 3 seconds before the motion and has a trigger alarm. So, you can choose to either have it do continuous recording or triggered recording. I still can’t decide which one I prefer, lol. Continuous is good if you have the ability to view and clear your SD card frequently.The on/off switch is on the back as well as the trigger alarm button. They supply the AC adapter and you can order a cord  for up to 30 ft if you need it. You can see the red dots of the infrared lights. It makes for a great deterrent. I took a picture with it plugged in and not turned on, and you can see the lights. When the camera is turned on, a red light will be on , on the lower front side of the camera. This camera comes with everyone’s favorite accessory, a remote, lol. You will notice on the back of the remote, there is a clear plastic tab you will need to pull out for it to work. This is obviously protecting the battery from being used up in the packaging. This camera isn’t waterproof or dustproof. It will need to be in a protected environment or you can supply a clear plastic encasement like you see in commercial usage. If you have a porch, that would be good. I am really liking the ease of use of this camera, and it’s great infrared quality. I feel very comfortable in recommending this product.

This clock is so much fun. I just love it. It is very eye catching, and anyone who sees it, falls in love with it. It is so unique. It tells time in words only, and at five minute intervals. And at night, the time is so easy to see. There is no straining to tell the time, or having to get up to look at the cable box. My younger son, who is 7, thinks this clock is a riot. He just looks at it and smiles, lol. It is so simple to set up too. It arrives, very well wrapped in bubble wrap inside the box. There is also a separate AC adapter you have to attach. It attaches on the side of the clock. On the same side are the buttons to set the time. Watch where it is set at when you plug it in. It doesn’t role around when you are setting it. When I plugged it in, it turned on at 10 o’clock. I went forward, thinking it would role pass twelve to 1 again. Nope, I had to back track, lol. This clock can also be set up in easel mode or you can hang it on the wall. It has a pop out easel on the back of it. The easel was done well. It is very steady. My son can bounce around it, and it doesn’t move. I am just thrilled that I was afforded the opportunity to review Princess International’s LED Word Clock in exchange for an unbiased and honest review.
As I’m writing this review, my clock says, “It is 10 minutes to eight.” It is such a fun, modern look. The clock face is made out of a thick acrylic. The cord is 4ft long. So if you plan on hanging it, you will have to measure it out. Some outlets by counters will be higher. You could always get another AC adapter from a hardware store. My husband is an electrician, so he said he would just put in an outlet for me up high on the wall, so yea!  This clock is that striking. It’s definitely worth the effort.

This shirt is made out very soft and comfortable material. I absolutely love the open shoulder detailing. It makes for a dramatic statement. I ordered the shirt in a size medium. This garment is sized generously. I much rather have that, then the way clothes are running much smaller nowadays. I wear a size medium in tops normally. I have some smalls, and I even have some in X-large, which is a joke, because they are the same size as my mediums. Mentally, for a women, having to upsize that much, is not pleasing. So, I was quite pleased to have my medium shirt be roomy. This shirt is 95% Rayon and 5% Spandex. It is also proudly made here in the USA. I just love that. It’s so hard to find clothes made in the USA nowadays. I am 5’3″ with tall hair, lol. This shirt is tunic style. So for me, I can wear it with leggings, pants, or as a dress. I will more than likely be wearing it as a dress. The white crotchet trim at the bottom hemline is so pretty in person. It is done very well and very eye catching. I absolutely love the off the shoulder design. The shirt is made well enough, wear I don’t have to worry about t being so open on top. I had a nude colored bra on, and you could barely notice my straps. The kimono sleeve detailing is also a great touch. It really compliments the flowy design of this shirt. This shirt also comes in sizes through plus sizes and is available in other colors.
Even though this material is so soft against the skin, I do not find it to be clingy at all. A lot of softer shirts can be clingy, and thus unflattering to the figure. They cut it in a way where it flows over the breast line to the hips, instead of clinging to all the curves. It is very feminine, and yet still a little sexy.

This is truly an exquisite piece. The photos don’t do it justice. I have owned many tea kettles in the past, but this is my first teapot. I love having the diffuser included in the design. Now, not only is it gorgeous, but it is also a very handy piece. I am thrilled that I was afforded the opportunity to review Tea Beyond’s Pink Glass Butterfly Teapot in exchange for an unbiased and honest review.  This teapot comes very well wrapped in paper, bubble wrap and cardboard inside it’s box. You’ll have no worries about this arriving in perfect condition. They definitely take pride in their product.
I am a huge tea drinker. I drink organic tea with raw honey every day. Infuser’s are great. Having an infuser opens up the whole world of loose tea, along with being able to add edible flowers, spices and fruits. Some people even add certain vegetables, like cucumber. All you need to do is add your tea, and any additives you want into the infuser, then fill the teapot with you hot water, and let it steep for at least 4-5 minutes before drinking. You can add really hot water, just do not put boiling hot water into the teapot. Then just pour into your cup and enjoy.
The spout on this teapot was designed well. You won’t get the dribble that makes a mess with this one. The handle is also a great size and allows for a great grip to pour with. Some handles can be awkward when you bend your wrist and hand to pour. This teapot is made from heat resistant glass. You can even wash this teapot on the top shelf of your dishwasher. It was designed by the owner of Tea Beyond, Jane London. The pink butterfly symbolizes “change to be better”. This butterfly is so pretty and delicate. The quality in this hand-blown teapot is top notch. The dot pattern that flows around the teapot and handle represent  liquid tea drops. Drinking from glass is much healthier. There are no chemicals that can seep into your healthy tea from this glass.
Tea is very important to me. It is a way I improve my health. I suffer from severe allergies and have very frequent anaphylactic reactions. I drink a tea blend that is organic, and full of antioxidants and vitamins that are great for throat and respiratory health. I can tell a big difference in my throat when I do not drink my tea. Tea is definitely more than just a relaxing moment.

This speaker is a lot of fun. I graduated in 1986, and this speaker brings me back to the day, lol. I can remember when everyone carried their speakers on their shoulders. In the box you will get the speaker, a rechargeable battery, a micro USB cable, an Audio cable, and a sheet of instructions.
This speaker easily operates by Bluetooth. They supply an audio cable just in case you have a tablet, phone, or player that doesn’t have Bluetooth in it. It’s very simple to operate. The on/off switch is on the back. You just need to either hook it up with the audio cable, or scan, and connect your device via Bluetooth. There is a convenient slot on the top of this speaker that you can rest your device in. I really appreciate that aspect. This speaker did play very clear for me. I played many different genre from country, to beachy, to snoop dog and rock. They all did pretty well.
With the attached carry handle/shoulder strap, this speaker makes it very convenient to be carried outside. Even though it’s bigger than a lot of Bluetooth speakers, it’s very light and more visible, so you won’t leave it behind. Everyone in my family who has seen this speaker, just smiles. There’s something about it, lol. Maybe it’s all the wonderful memories. This speaker would definitely make a great gift.
