Type 4 750Lb Mil Paracrod from Tough-Grid on Amazon
StandardI included a picture with this review that shows the difference in the 750 vs. the 550lb paracord. The 750lb is notably thicker. It is the camo one in the picture. Paracord is made up of many strands. The 750lb has 11 strands internally, while the 550lb only has 7 strands internally. This is real paracord, made here in the USA. It is made out of Nylon and is a type 4 paracord.
Paracord can be used for anything you need a thin rope for. It is also fantastic for crafting things like belts, slings, lanyards, bracelets, necklaces, hat and boot bracelets, soda can holders, etc.. There are many books and online instructions on how to make things now. The great thing about having something with you that is made out of paracord, is that in an emergency, you can cut open your item and have incredibly strong paracode for your situation. It’s an easy and fun way to be prepared. My husband and older son always carry paracord in their trucks. They use it all the time for tying things done in their truck beds when needed, on the job quick fixes to allow time to run and get materials, , etc.
The great thing about this weight paracord, is the weight capacity. It has an incredible strength to it. If you were hiking and slipped down a ravine, you can use this to rig something to pull your self out, as an example. It can be helpful on boats, planes, anywhere. I feel quite comfortable in recommending Tough-Grid’s 750lb type 4 paracord. I Can be purchased on Amazon at: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SU01BE6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The T6 FLashlight Kit from EcoGear FX is a very reliable, convenient and made well kit., February 9, 2015
StandardWe, as a family, are big flashlight and lantern fanatics, lol. I truly believe that a family can never have enough. In Florida one year, and we lived in Central Florida, we had a hurricane come through. So many areas around us had no power for up to a week. Can you imagine being in home with your family, with no power , for that long. I have two grown kids and one 7 year old. My youngest has always had a strange fear of the dark. He personally owns a couple headlamps, lanterns and flashlights, lol. We also have flashlights in a lot of different price ranges. I was quite thrilled when I was afforded the opportunity to review EcoGear FX’s T6Flashlight Kit in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. As always, the flashlight came quickly with Amazon. It was packaged impeccably. Even the included 18650 battery was boxed inside the box, lol. I love that. It’s nice to be able to order from a company and not have to worry about it breaking in the mail.
Inside the box is the flashlight, a battery sleeve, an 18650 battery, an 18650 battery charger, a bonus solar powered LED keychain. I have one of these key chains, and I’ve attached it to my purse handle, so it’s always charged and available. It’s so bright for something so small. I personally think it’s the cutest solar panel I’ve ever seen, lol. There is also an instruction/care maintenance sheet of instructions, and a triple A battery adapter.
I plugged in the battery charger and battery. It took about 2 1/2 hours for it to fully charge. There is a light on the charger that goes from red to green when it is done charging. I took the triple A adapter out and used the 18650 battery. It is a Ultrafire battery. I own quite a few and they work very well. Make sure you point it away from your face when putting the battery in. I was halfway screwing the cap back on, and blinded myself, lol. It was very bright. This flashlight has several modes in it. Turn it on once, it has the regular on. Depress it twice, and low regular on comes on, depress it twice and strobe comes on, depress it twice again and S.O.S mode comes out. The top part of the flashlight pulls out to focus the light. When it’s fully pulled out, then it’s at it’s tightest focus point. When it’s fully pushed in, it’s at it’s widest beam. It’s printed on the flashlight itself for quick reference. The lens of the flashlight is rounded. It uses a Cree bulb. Cree bulbs are my favorite for flashlights. You really do get a brighter light out of them. I have no way of measuring lumens. It is a very bright flashlight though. This light comes with the wrist strap already attached. I sometimes have trouble attaching those, so I was quite pleased that that was already done. The flashlight itself is made out of aircraft grade aluminum. This makes it lighter, but it also makes it very durable and tough. Closed, it is 6.2 inches long. It’s smaller than my smart phone, lol. On the end of the light, by the lens, that area is ridged. I call that a DNA catcher. If the worst ever happens, and someone try’s to grab you while you’re out walking, you should be able to use this light to defend your self. The edges will be able to collect DNA for the police when you hit your attacker with this also. The body of the light has some molding and ridges on it. These really help keep a firm and comfortable grip. If you shake the flashlight, you will not hear anything. It’s made well. The push button on/off switch is on the tail end of this flashlight. It is an orange color. It is easy to reach and depress with our thumb. I do not have a mount, but this light is mountable to a firearm. This light is also weather resistant.
I am really happy with this T6 Flashlight Kit. The price point is impressive with everything that comes with it. I feel quite comfortable recommending this set by EcoGear FX.

Rapid charging in a convenient 6 port desktop 60W Charger by Rogue.
StandardThis charger was a breeze to set up. I literally, took it out of the box. Placed it in the included stand. Then I attached the power cord to the unit and plugged it in. That’s it. There is no other on/off button to use on this charger. There was no directions needed. So easy, anyone could do it.
I usually use my rapid charger that came with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I charged this with a different cord, via this unit, and it charged just as quickly. I was very relieved. Once you have fast charging abilities, it’s hard to except anything else.
These 6 port rapid charging units are incredible. They are such a life saver. In the evening, when we are all gathered together in the living room, we used to always fight over the plugs, lol. Now, with a 6 port rapid charger, it’s not bad at all. We always had a multiport surge protector to use, but with us sitting in different chairs, there was always pulling of the plug in unit, and thus the cords. Now we can have our two lap tops plugged in and with the rapid charger, we can have our phones and pads charging too. No more pulling, or unplugging. Life is easier and friendlier. We can have multiple items plugged in, and everything still charges in a quick manor. I really haven’t noticed a slowing of charging speed from one item plugged in, to multiple items plugged in charging.
I most definitely feel comfortable in recommending the Rogue 60w 6 Port USB Desktop Portable Rapid Charger. It can be found on Amazon at: http://www.amazon.com/Desktop-Charger-Intelligent-Charger-Technology/dp/B00NOIY44I/ref=cm_cr-mr-title
Ozeri CarioTech Pro Series Blood Pressure Cuff
StandardMy past history is that of a nurse. My family living situation now also consists of my mother. She has high blood pressure, among other cardiac issues. I strongly feel that everyone should know their baseline blood pressure from as early as their teens. My 20 year old knows what his blood pressure is, so he can monitor any changes. Even kids have strokes. Having a machine like this in the home should be a staple. I was afforded the opportunity to review this Pro Series Cardio Tech Blood Pressure cuff in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. I was very excited for this to arrive in the mail, because I love using new medical equipment. I’m a bit of a science nerd, lol. My husband had just had his blood pressure taken over his Army Reserve weekend using a machine like this one. He said they didn’t position his arm right, as shown in the directions, and they couldn’t get a correct reading. My husband knows what his baseline BP is. He actually was the first to use this cuff. We did discover between the two of that this machine, like most machines like this, is finicky with position and placement of the cuff. You will need to know your baseline, and then practice, practice, practice, until you start getting your baseline blood pressure. They even have a pictograph of instructions right on the band of the cuff, The inflation of the cuff does not hurt in any way, shape, or form. So please don’t hesitate in using this to practice with. Do not immediately take your blood pressure back to back. Give it a few minutes at least. If machines like this scare you, don’t be afraid of this one. It’s only secured by Velcro, so you can easily and quickly undo it. Now, with this blood pressure cuff we can quickly monitor any changes in my mother’s blood pressure. It is always high and she has a history of malignant high blood pressure. Instead of second guessing if you should call for EMS services, you will know to call. Seconds count, especially with your heart. Having a cuff like this is priceless when it comes to your family and friends. I am extremely comfortable in highly recommending this Pro Series Ozeri CardioTech blood pressure cuff.
