We are loving this camera. Mt son thinks it’s so much fun. He loves when I talk to him through it from another room, lol. I am thrilled that I was afforded the opportunity to review Misafes 360 Rotation Mi-Cam Wi-Fi Camera Baby Pets Monitor Security Remote Camera 2-Way Video with 720p HD Quality, in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. This product arrives as shown. In your package you will get 1 camera, 1 instruction booklet, 1 piece of double sided sticky 3M tape, 1 micro USB adapter, 1 micro USB cord, 1 metal plate, 2 wall anchors, 2 metal screws, and 1 setup tool. The instruction book and setup tool are vital, so don’t lose them.

Now, the instruction booklet will have a QR code to scan to download the necessary app, as well as give you a name to look up in your play store. Here is my very strong advice: Ignore those steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It will save you from downloading two wrong apps, lol. I have the QR scanner, and it picked up the wrong app. I searched the play store, and again, downloaded the wrong app. At this point, the camera was lucky it was left in working condition, lol. The third option it says you can do is to go to their www.misafes.com website and download the app from there. Well, hallelujah, that worked perfectly, just go there!. When you get to their website, click the menu and go to their MiCam page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and it will say, download application here, press that, and now you are golden. The application works perfectly. I cannot tell you how happy we were after all of that.

Before doing the app. Make sure you have the system plugged in, your micro SD card in, and have pressed the setup button with the setup tool. It can handle up to a 64gb micro SD card. It is not included. When you get to the point where you need to send the sound signal to the camera, hold the phone up to the camera. It pairs much faster this way. There is no guessing with this camera. It talks to you. It will tell you if your micro SD card has been installed, if you have logged into and are viewing your camera. From around my house, I could watch my son, talk to him through the camera, record him, and take snap shots of him. My son thought it was absolutely hilarious that I could talk to him through the camera. He couldn’t talk back, but he could hear me through it.

It is easily mounted to a wall, with it’s magnetic base, because it comes with the metal plate that you can either screw to the wall, or mount with the sticky tape. I think is great for keeping your eye on your child, or your eye on the doorways. At night when you’re in your room, and you hear a noise, you can pick up your phone or tablet, and see what’s going on from the safety of your room. That’s priceless. As soon as you open up the viewer, the camera does talk and says that it is being viewed. That should scare someone who shouldn’t be there. At that point you can also press record, and take snapshots. You can go through your photo and video files from the app too. You can even go to settings and see if there are any updates needed for your app. I am just thrilled with how easy it was to operate this camera with this app. I have had to jump through hoops with other cameras before. I am loving this one. It is a welcomed addition to our home. I am very comfortable in recommending this Misafe camera.
