This projector is amazing. When I was testing it, I had neighbors stopping by asking me all about it. I had some make me promise that I would turn it on daily during the holidays. I am beyond thrilled that I was afforded the opportunity to review SeresRoad’s Laser Christmas Lights, Red and Green Outdoor Waterproof Star Projector, Laser Landscape Projector, Holiday Laser Light , Firefly Landscape Laser Light with Wireless Remote Control, in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. This product arrives as shown. In your package you will get 1 laser projector, 1 yard stake, 1 remote control, 2 AAA batteries, hardware for the stake, 1 Allen wrench, and 1 instruction sheet.
This is literally a plug and play projector. To use the remote, just put in the 2 batteries that are included. Just remember that this projector uses lasers. So don’t look at the lens when on. You will need to remove the warning sticker from the lens prior to using it. After I peeled off the sticker, there was remnants of the sticker and a lot of sticky goo left behind. I put some Goo Be Gone on a paper towel, it cleaned right up. This projector is waterproof. But, make sure your plug system is weather proof too. I love, love, love the look. It is so easy to set up and use. The need to hang a ton of lights on your hoe disappears with this one tiny projector. This projector is only approximately 3 3/4’s of an inch long, and 4″ broad, at it’s widest point. It has a metal stand. You can either hang it up from this, or you can attach the yard stake that is included with it. I first thought the hardware for the stake wasn’t in the box. But then I noticed that the screw was screwed into the yard stake, lol. I felt silly, but was really happy that it was there. Just take the Allen wrench and remove the screw, and then attach it to the yard stake. That’s it. It will come on, on it’s own when you plug it in. Mine did anyhow. So, when plugging it in, don’t look at the lens. Big safety issue. Lasers can and will hurt your eyes. The remote works great. You have many options with it. It works really well too. I have had no hesitation with the remote. I easily switched colors, and went through the flashing modes. You can set the timer, which is perfect. There is a 2, 4, 6, and 8 hour option for the timer. So you won’t have to worry about it running all night. You can just turn it on, and relax. I absolutely love the atmosphere it creates. And I love that the neighbors greatly approve of it. It cracked me up and made me so happy to not only see my son overjoyed, but to see how happy it made my neighbors. That’s an important part of the holidays. The lights come on in the red and green pattern. You can have it flash. You can have it solid on in either color, and you can have it flash in one color too: red or green. And you can do it all from the remote. We are loving everything about our projector. It’s lightweight. Small, so convenient to store and set up. And, it comes with a remote. I mean, really, what could be better. We absolutely love it, and I am so comfortable recommending it.
