I love this new age of hair straightening brushes. They are so much more user friendly that flat irons. I would never use one of those. Tried once, and, no thank you! My hair is thick, and unruly. It’s like having a teenager on my head, lol. I have other versions of the hair straightening brush, and I love the changes made in this one. They really improved the style of the brush for the better. It is highly user friendly now. I have two brushes and they both have the settings buttons on the handle in the location where you are holding it. So, as you are brushing your hair, you tend to keep changing the setting on yourself. It’s still worth it though, because these are great products. This brush, however, moved the controls, and made them smaller. There are just two small buttons underneath the LCD screen. I have, not once, touched these by accident while using the brush. I just love that! The LCD screen is clear, and easy to read. The lower setting is thin hair friendly, and the higher setting is for people like me. People who have thick, unruly hair. This is a 5 speed thermostat designed unit. It also has a built in ionizer that has an Anion density up to 6000000 pcs/cm³. If you are prone to static, and frizz with your hair, this helps neutralize your hair, ridding it of that problem. It can be a hair saver on some days. This brush heats up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, which does work well on my hair. It heats up fast too. Within a minute, you can really feel the heat. It has patented anti-scald teeth. There is a big difference with this brush compared to others. The teeth on this brush are like small thin paddles almost. They each have a ceramic plate in it. I think it’s a pretty cool design. They do cut through my hair well. To get through all of it, though, I have to go through the top and then through from the underside. This is not new to me. I always have to brush my hair like this. The key to these brushes is to move slow and steady through your hair. You do not have to do it in a straight down manner, either. You can also brush your hair as if you are styling it. It starts to smooth out your hair, rid it of its frizz. Then, after a bit, you will start to see a nice, healthy shine to your hair as well. The cord actually spins 360 degrees, which also really helps to make this a user friendly brush. I didn’t realize how much that feature would benefit the use of this brush, but it makes a difference in maneuvering the brush. It’s really easy to manipulate. The storage bag included with this brush also makes a great difference. It keeps the cord together, so if you have tight, under cabinet storage, the cord won’t get tangled with everything else. It also helps to protect the brush itself. This brush has been working great for me. So far, I have not had any issues, and there are no negatives I can find.
