I have trouble off and on with my right wrist. I have for years. When I have a flare up, I have to use a brace. I haven’t used one in this style before. I have to get used to the thumb hole. But, after about having it on for 10 minutes or so, I forget about it. The material is Neoprene. There is no steel or foam on this product, like noted on their ad page, lol. It looks exactly like their photos though. Whoever made the ad obviously wrote the wrong information down. You put your thumb through the thumb hole, and then wrap it over the top of your hand, and then around your wrist to your desired fit. It definitely provides great wrist support. It is a compression strap, you can feel it, and it works well. The Velcro is generous, and it provides a secure closure. It is very easy to put on yourself as well. Mine arrived with all the stitching done tight and on point, and there was no odor to it either. Just the usual Neoprene scent. I am very happy with the overall quality. It gives me the support I need without hindering the use of my hand. I am not only happy I found this wrist support for myself, but I am also comfortable recommending this product.
