Sometimes, when you pick up a garment, you just say, wow, these are made really well. It’s actually not as common anymore, unless you spend a fortune. When these pants arrived, I said wow. These are definitely well made! I was happily surprised. For example, my son recently bought himself two pairs of shoes. Both expensive, but one paired smelled like regular leather, and one, which cost even more, smelled like pure nasty chemicals. They were leather too. Some companies are using fabrics and leathers that have been drenched in formaldehyde and more. Needless to say, I am thrilled to be afforded the opportunity to review JDT International’s Bodishape Women’s Plus Size Ponte Pants in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. I ordered these in a 14/16 for my mother. That is not usually considered plus size. I always buy her pants in the regular ladies section. The pants arrive just as shown.
The 14/16 fit exactly like they should. They most definitely run true to size. The material is thick, not all on the flimsy side. The fabric is so smooth to the touch. My mom said they are very comfortable on. The material is 63% Viscose, 33% Nylon and 4% Elastane.  There are no pockets on the pack, but the two zippered pockets on the front are functional pockets. They are about three inches deep. The waist band is nice and wide. It’s approx. 2.5″ wide. She loves, love, loves that feature. It’s stays put and doesn’t roll, and is very comfortable against her waist. The inseam is approx. 29″ long. My mom is 5’5″ tall. These hit at her ankles. Since they taper in, and if you were taller, you could wear them as capris, easily. These do have a seam going down the front of the leg as well as the back of the leg. It’s an added touch that really lends to the design of these pants. They are not the average pants you find in the store. My mom is insanely picky about the pants she wears, so I have looked at a lot of pants. These are machine washable. They are not the wrinkling kind, which makes them even better, and perfect for traveling. These really are incredibly soft and comfortable. My mom is actually excited about the fall coming so she can wear them more, and she hates cold weather, lol. It’s great to be able to share our experience with these pants. It has been 100% positive for us, and we highly recommend them.
