My hair is a mess, lol. It truly has a mind of its own. I am fond of these Ionic Hair Brushes. I have others, but I was excited to try this set from SySrion. I love this set. It comes with the brush, a storage bag, 2 hair clips, and a glove, for those of you who may burn your hand. I do not need the glove with this brush. But, if you are one to always grab the bristles (plates), then this will be perfect for you. It’s the most complete set I have used, that’s for sure. All my other brushes have just come with the brush. The buttons for this brush are on the back of the handle. They are slightly inset, and are not easy to press by accident. You won’t have to worry about turning it off, or changing your heat setting, with this one. I wrap my hand around the handle when I use it, and I have not accidently pushed the buttons at all. I love the ceramic plates on this brush. They really work through my messy hair without pulling on it, and yanking it out. I can take my messy pony tail down, after being outside and windblown, and it tames and de frizzes my hair easily. I am always really impressed with that too. This brush has 5 heat settings. Just press the power button until you reach your desired setting. This brush moves from 302 degrees Fahrenheit to 446 degrees Fahrenheit. The cooler temps are perfect for fine hair, and the highest temp is perfect for my thick, unmanageable hair. They include a great instruction pamphlet for first time users. This brush does not dry out my hair. It actually looks and feels healthier after using it. The negative ions in this brush is what gets rid of the frizz in your hair. The trick is to move the brush slowly through your hair. It works more efficiently this way. You can even help style your hair with this brush. Work it like you would a regular brush, and the heat will help style your hair in that direction. This brush is really a great tool. I love the bright blue color of my brush, but they also have it available in black and pink; something for everyone. I really can’t say enough positive about it.

The easy way to straighten your hair. – Simply Straight Ceramic Hair Straightening Brush.

I personally think that ceramic hair straightening brushes are a brilliant invention. I love them. This one, by Simply Straight, arrives with a great instructional book. So, if you have never used one before, or even if you have, I recommend perusing it before you use it. This one has its controls on the back of the handle. They are semi inserted into the handle, and are impossible to accidently hit while using the brush. That is a great feature. I have a couple brushes, where it’s easy to change the settings, accidently. It is so annoying. I have thick, wavy hair, and need the higher setting. I hate when I keep lowering the heat on myself, lol. There is no worry of this on this brush. You can easily straighten and de-frizz yourself with this brush. You can even style your hair, with practice, with this brush. There are three main settings on this brush: Low, Medium, and High. Low is 365 degrees Fahrenheit and for delicate, fine, or colored hair. Medium is 410 degrees Fahrenheit and is for natural hair. High, which is what I use, is 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and is for thick or curly hair. It doesn’t but a couple minutes to heat up, and then you want to section of your hair as you brush. To straighten, they suggest in the pamphlet, to brush slowly from underneath the section of hair. This keeps the bristles off of your scalp, as well as giving you more control getting the brush through your hair. Just slowly move the brush through your hair. You will be so pleased at how well it works. It helps to calm your hair. I live by the coast, and in seconds, my hair can get so frizzy and wild. Even though these still get very hot, they are still a lot safer and use then regular straight irons. There is an LCD screen on the handle which lets you know the temperature. The automatic shut off on this unit is 60 minutes, if not used. It’s nice to know there’s a built in safety feature, but I think the time frame should be much less. Remember to let it cool off before storing it. Never rinse this unit off to clean it either. Use a cloth to clean it off, when it’s cool.  The cord has the 360 swivel built into it, so it’s easy to use. The handle is comfortable to hold. Overall, it’s a great working ceramic straightening brush.
