A fan for the modern age. – Moderna Housewares’ Ozeri 360 Oscillation Tower Fan.

With the summer heat here, we are all looking at fans. We have air conditioning in our home, but I swear my husband has an internal furnace that never goes off. This fan is awesome. The assembly, not so much, lol. Do not follow their book of directions. Thread the cord through the base, before actually hooking the base together. Make sure you have a slotted screwdriver handy as well. The three screw they are talking about in the book, are actually threaded into the bottom of the fan, upon arrival. So, remove the three screws first, and then turn the fan upside down. Now, carefully line up the assembled base, and screw the screws back in. Make sure you screw the screws in nice and firm, since this is an oscillating fan. Now, just place the included button battery into the remote. Place it in upside down. I did it wrong the first time, lol. The remote is very responsive to the fan. I have had no issues with it whatsoever. It oscillates up to 360 degrees, so face it forward in the main direction you want to feel the breeze, when positioning it. You can choose between no oscillation or degree marks of: 60, 90, 120, 03 360 degrees. You can operate it without the remote as well. The buttons are on the top of the fan. Also on the top of the fan is a great hand hold. With this, it is so easy to pick up and place your fan. It is actually very quiet to run too. Our traditional cage fans are much louder. This fan has a digital screen which will show you the room temp. and all your chosen actions. After you have it set, you can turn off the screen. This fan has Micro-Blade Noise Reduction Technology in it. This means that they have over 200 staggered micro blades in this fan, and that is what keeps the noise output down. I really like that. That is always my main complaint about fans. Because it never stops with the noisy fan. Everything gets louder to compensate for the noisy fan, and then my ears are killing me. I haven’t had that issue with this fan. This fan has three speeds, and it can really cool down a room on high. It displays the room temp, and you can watch the room temp drop as it cools it off. I think that is pretty cool. If you are using this fan in your bedroom, after you set it up, and turn it on the mode and timer setting of your choice, you can then turn the LCD screen off, so you don’t have it bothering you, so you can sleep. I lke light in the room when I sleep, but I know people that need it pitch black to sleep. It’s nice that the option is there if you need it. My fan has been working very well. It’s pretty powerful, while taking up little space. It can actually cool down a room, and not be noisy while doing it. The remote makes it better, lol. I love the remote. And, I am very partial to the digital screen. It has actually spoiled me now, and I think all fans should have one.

Great side table fan. – Aura Bladeless Fan, Oscillating Fan, With Decorative LED Light & Remote Control (Silver).

Standard

My husband is always hot. I swear he has an internal furnace. I, on the other hand, am always on the colder side. So, a fan is a great option for us. I tend to be a little clutsy, and my younger son is a bull in a china shop. So, I love the bladeless fan option. I like how there are more affordable options than the creator of the bladeless fan. With this fan, I don’t have to worry about anyone hurting themselves, or knocking things into it. It has a high and low setting, and even LED lights, if needed. The icing on the cake with this fan, is the remote control. It works really well. You need to face it to the front of the fan, and it is very responsive. The only action that can be a little temperamental with the remote, is the “sway” option. This is the button you press when you want the fan to slowly turn 180 degrees. It turns left to right, and really spreads the breeze. Sometimes, I have to press it several times for it to pick up this action. It has always eventually picked it up for me, though. The actions that you can choose with both the remote and from the buttons on the front of the fan are: Power, Sway, Low, High, and Lights. The high and low are represented by a + and – signs on the fan itself. The light option on the fan is shown by a lightbulb, and the sway option is shown by a circle with an arrow on the end of it, on the fan. The fan buttons are subtle, but you can tell what they are if you look closely at them. They are very responsive, and work right away for me every time, so far. The white LED lights surround the base of the fan. I really love the lighting. It is subtle, and looks great on. It helps light the area at night, but it is not too bright, and does not keep us up at night. You can run the lights independently from the fan. I like that option a lot. They do not get hot to the touch either. This is not a strong blowing fan. It is a great side table fan. It will not cool down an entire room. It does a great job for close proximity; for example, if you put it by you when you are in bed, or sitting on the couch. The fan is actually a lot quieter than regular fans. Yes, it does make noise. The internal parts blow the air up into the upper archway, and the air blows out of the groove along the archway, into your room. It really is a nice working fan. You do have to snap the top part onto the lower half, upon arrival. It can be really finicky too. I kept feeling like I was going to break it. It took more over 10 tires, but I finally was able to snap it together. Once snapped in, it is seated pretty tight. It doesn’t shake or wobble at all. The power cord is separate, and attaches at the base of the fan. It is a regular 2 prong plug. So far, so good. I am comfortable recommending this product.
