Driving shoes are so comfortable. They give your foot the more natural feel and fit they say is healthier for your feet, but still provide sole protection for your busy day. I ordered these particular loafers in a 9 ½. We feel they run about a 1/2 size too small. The cut is meant more for people who have a true to slender M width. Not if you are pushing the M width. All of the stitching on these shoes were done tight and on point. The shoes have no odd odor to them either. The sole is really cool. I have an older son who is quite preferential to driving shoes. So, we are really used to this style. These are made out of manmade materials. The material is thick, flexible, and well done. The toe is more squared on these shoes, and the heel, or sole really, is about ¼ of an inch thick. There is a lot of traction with these shoes. The contrasting stitching is a pretty nice touch. It definitely adds to the style. The pair we received were well made, run about ½ size small, but comfortable to wear.
