I am a big LED nut. I just love them. These lights definitely fit the bill. They have been very much welcomed into our home. These are supposed to be bike lights, but they will have more uses than just on a bike in our home. I am just thrilled that I was afforded the opportunity to review Xtreme Bright Ideas’ USB Rechargeable LED Bike Lights in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. These lights will arrive in a nice box that is gift worthy. Inside the box you will find the two lights, 2 USB cords for charging, and 2 rubber straps to attach the lights to your bike.
These lights will arrive with some charge . I went ahead and charged them anyway. These lights are very bright. The button is obvious and is on the top of the light. Turn the light away from your face so you won’t blind yourself like I did, lol. Each light has 4 settings. The first push turns it on high, the 2nd push, low. Push it a third time for strobe, and a 4th time for intermittent strobe. On the back of each light you will notice a clip. This makes it incredibly useful. Many packs, etc.. have molle straps on them. These lights would clip onto them easily. You can wear a chest rig with molle straps on it and place this on it. This light will definitely light the way. As for using these on bikes. They are awesome. The rubber straps really immobilize the light. They can withstand the vibrations, and let the light sit firmly in place. They are also incredibly weather resistant. The batteries in these lights are 650 mAh rechargeable batteries. They say the intermittent strobe is an SOS strobe. I can see part of it, but not the long dash. It looks more like, dot dot, pause, dot dot. More like a thump thump heartbeat. Although, it will definitely get the attention of passer byers. I really like this set. I’m actually very excited to have them in our home. I feel very comfortable recommending these LED rechargeable bike lights. Having a light source handy for emergencies, and for  finding yourself out past sunset is definitely mandatory.
