I am a fan of sun sails. They really bring a modern flare to your yard. I loved seeing backyard makeovers on HGTV, because they added Sun Sail Shades a lot. I didn’t realize how affordable they could be though. The color of this sunshade is that of a golden tan. I wasn’t sure what to expect of the material, but it is definitely an outdoor friendly material. It is made out of a HDPE material, and has a 5 year warranty, which is pretty impressive. I love the size of this sunscreen. It is actually large enough to cover a hangout area on your patio, 16.5’ x 16.5’. It’s a breathable fabric and it blocks 90% of the harmful UV rays. I love, love, love that they include stainless steel hardware with their sunshade. I live by the coast, and cannot use anything shy of stainless, or it rusts immediately. You get 4 turnbuckles, 4 eyepads and 4 snap hooks in this package. You need to supply your own line, unless you are going to mount it straight to a tree, pillar, etc.. The hem on this sunshade is a little over an inch wide. It was sewn well. My shade is in great shape, no holes or tears. It has a mild scent to it, but to be expected since it’s a manmade material. It’s not the heavily laden scent that comes with some product nowadays though, not at all. You do not even smell anything, unless you get right up on it. I also like the highly usable square shape. You can set I up as a square, or turn it to form a diamond leading from your home. They say to just clean it with some mild soap and water, whenever you need to. It’s an overall great quality sunshade. I haven’t found any faults with it, and you really can’t beat the price point they currently have it at too.
