Fuzzy slippers! – Norty – Grizzly Bear Animal Claw and Paw Slippers.

My son was so excited to get these slippers. He picked out the Polar Bear ones, from the different designs offered. We measured our feet, and know our shoes sizes, and we ordered accordingly. Unfortunately, these slippers run very small, so I have an upset young man on my side. He wears a size 5, and I wear a 7 ½ women’s. His feet are slightly smaller than mine, and our toes are pressed at the end of them. That, by the way, isn’t comfortable at all. So, be careful ordering these size wise. Quality wise, they were what I was expecting. We’ve all seen fuzzy slippers at the stores around the holidays, because they make fun gifts. These are quite fuzzy, and you will get some fuzz coming off the slippers at first. The fake claws are done in a padded shiny white material. There are 4 claws on each slipper. Overall, really cute. Mine arrived with no odor to them at all. Overall, very clean. They are highly padded as well. The bottoms were covered with silicone dots, creating the non-slip grip. Which is imperative on non-carpeted flooring. There is a tag in the slippers, by the heel area. You may want to cut that out so it doesn’t rub your heel. I’ve noticed no holes on mine, and the only imperfections noted were the fuzz coming off, and that this style runs small. The fuzz does stop coming off, though, so no worries. I’ve experienced this with other fuzzy items, like jackets and stuffed animals, so I wasn’t surprised. Overall these are well made, provide a lot of padding, and are comfortable to walk in. Down side, this style (polar bear) runs small.

Let me tell you, my husband loves to polish his shoes. He finds it relaxing. He was also very happy to see this shoe polisher, when it arrived. With the cost of real leather shoes nowadays, you really need to take care of them too. It’s pretty wild having an electric shoe polisher. Before, it was all up to your muscle. It takes longer to do it by hand as well. This particular shoe polisher comes with 1 battery, a battery charging station, and 3 heads. The heads include the Shoe Oil Brush, the Polish Brush, and the Microfiber Brush. You need to use them in that order, as well. The battery drops into the handle easily. Then you just push the battery cover back on, and you are ready to go. This entire unit is rubber coated, so it has a great grip. There is one button inside of the handle, which is both the on and off button. It has the one speed only. The head attachments just push on, and pull off. So, these are also easy to change out and use. The only thing you need to supply is the polishing oil/conditioner. It is a noisy machine, but it has decent power to it. Definitely enough to polish shoes and boots. There is not a lot of hand vibration, in case that is any issue for you. The surface coverage is pretty large too. The heads measure in size from 2 ¾” to 3” in size. Not too shabby, if you ask me. You can use these on anything leather, really. You can use this brush to polish and condition your car seats, couch, chair, and more. It is so quick and easy to use. It makes doing a quick but effective polish a breeze.

Summer is almost here. – Norty’s Wave Childrens Kids Aqua Socks.

Summertime is coming, and my son is getting excited about the beach. He was so looking forward to these shoes. Unfortunately, they did not fit. I had a very pouty boy on my hands. He wears a sz. 4 shoe, and has room in them, but these are definitely smaller! So unfortunate. I like how these water shoes have the toe areas slightly molded into them. It makes for a more natural footing. Inside, if you feel into the tow area, it feels smooth, but the toe area is wide for a natural foot, instead of pushing the toes together like most shoes. They do have a couple styles and many colors available to suit toddlers up to a child’s sz4 shoe. These have the usual black rubber sole, for great footing. They upper is a combination of mesh and Neoprene. The stitching was done alright. It’s not the best, but definitely serves its function. The Velcro piece is approx.. 1 ¾” long and ¾”s of an inch wide, at the widest point. I wish this was a tad larger. These also run a little narrow, so if you have to pull this across the top of the foot, it may not hold. I like how the rubber of the sole, curls up over the tips of the toes. It really helps to protect their little tippies from rocks. Neoprene is a highly durable material, and dries quickly. That’s why it’s the material of choice for water shoes. There is a little loop on the back of the shoe. My son really likes the style of the shoe, and is upset they do not fit. I recommend ordering a size up, and you should be happy with them.
