A great way to be prepared. – BHBody’s Keychain USB Rechargeable Mini Necklace LED Flashlight.

Standard

My family is big into being prepared. It amazes me how many people do not have the basic items in their home, that can help them and their families in an emergency. From my past experience as a nurse, and in life in general, I can say that a lot of emergencies involve the lights going out, or occurring at night. I believe that you should have at least one flashlight per person, in your home, and extras for company, or flashlight failure. We have several different types per person, in our home. This particular flashlight necklace from BHBody is so unique. I love how it has entered the preparedness arena. People wear neck knives, and tools, and now we can add a stunning looking necklace flashlight. My guys love the look. I, as a female, absolutely love the look. It is a great size at 1 ¾”, it’s an easy size to wear. The chain and flashlight are made out of titanium alloy materials. I think the chain is stainless, but I’m not positive. The chain is a 26” chain, and slips right over my head. That is my personal measurement. So, there’s a great chance you won’t have to undo it to put it on and off. That is highly convenient. The length of the chain, also allows you to use the light, without removing it from your neck. Obviously, that won’t be convenient for everything, but it’s a great option. This is a twist on light to, which is quick and silent, in case you need to be silent. Just twist it clockwise to turn it on, and counter clockwise to turn it off. When the light starts to get weak, just plug it into your micro USB, and let it be. It will not overcharge, and there is an LED light that goes from red to green, once it’s fully charged. It took about 30 minutes for my light to charge. You need to supply your own micro USB. Now, the charging port is located under the top of the flashlight. Unscrew it like you are turning it off, but keep on turning until it comes off completely. You will see the micro USB port on the side of the light. This is pretty bright for a tiny light. It puts off 130 lumens of a bright, white light. I love LEDs. They are so much more user friendly. No poisonous chemicals to deal with. They do not break easily when you drop the light, and they last soooo much longer than regular bulbs as well. This LED is a CREE-XP-G2 LED, and is rated for up to 50,000 hours. No matter how many times I see a lifespan of a LED, it always impresses me. I am a bit of a LED nut, lol. What I also find impressive, is that this tiny light is also a dual mode light. It actually has low and high. High is the 130 lumens. When you start to turn the cap to turn it on, it will first reach low mode, and when you keep turning, you will reach the high mode. You can’t miss it. It has an IPX8 waterproof rating, which means that it is water resistant up to 2M, and has an impact resistance rating of 1.5m. So, this means you can use this light in the rain, and if you drop it from standing, it will be fine and dandy. The internal rechargeable battery is an 10180 Li battery. They state that you can change out the battery when it finally goes. The LED will last longer than the battery. I have dropped the light and ran the light under the faucet. I have had no issues with it. I absolutely love it. It would make a great gift, as it even comes in a fancy gift box, that looks just like a jewelry gift box. You do have the option of putting it on your key ring as well, so it’s not stuck as a necklace only. It’s quite the handy and usable flashlight. I really love it.

There’s always room for another flashlight. –

Standard

Flashlights are an essential that every home and vehicle should have stored in them. Emergencies seem to always happen at night, and the first thing to go out, is the power. I’ve seen the toughest men, become useless in the dark, lol. I believe that every home should have 1 flashlight, 1 headlamp, and 1 lantern, per person, in your household, and then an extra set for a guest, or backup for a family member. This set from Diatelity is a well thought out kit. It has everything for you to set your flashlight up, and even to store it in. The case isn’t the strongest case, but it snaps shut around the three open sides, and makes it great to store. In this flashlight kit you will get 1 flashlight, 1 AAA battery adapter, 1 mini solar flashlight LED keychain, 1 battery sleeve, 2 rechargeable 18650 (2200mAH)batteries, 1 2-battery charger, 1 flashlight holster, and 1 storage case. This flashlight only requires 1 18650 battery, so, you can always have a backup battery available. That’s always handy. Let’s say you forgot to charge your batteries, but you need the flashlight. Well, it comes with a AAA adapter, so just insert 3 AAA batteries into the adapter, and drop it into the flashlight. It’s great to have that option. In case you have never used a battery sleeve, just insert the 18650 into the sleeve, and drop it into the flashlight. It ensures a great fit, and a silent light. When I shake this flashlight, I don’t hear any noise at all. It arrives with the wrist strap already attached. It is Zoomable by pulling out on the bezel, or top end of the flashlight. This is a 5 mode light. I have issues with fully turning the light off and back on again. Frequently, if I full turn it off, it may take me 3 tries to actually get it to turn back on, which is annoying. Once on, I can soft press it through its modes easily. It has high, medium, low, strobe, and SOS mode. So, mode wise, it has everything you need. It’s pretty bright. I do not have a way to measure lumens. They state that it is 900 lumens, which if it were true, would really light your way at night. They do state that it has a XML T6 Cree LED bulb in it. I love Cree bulbs. They always offer bright, clear light. This bulb is rated for the amount they say. I found this website that rates the Cree bulbs with the mAh battery power used. It actually helps to determine the output.: http://flashlightwiki.com/Cree. I can honestly say I have name brand lights, that are brighter and sate a lower lumen count. It is bright though, and you can’t beat the price for everything you get. It is also rated for 100,000 hours of life. I love that about LEDS. LEDs are so durable as well. You can drop this light over and over, and it won’t break the bulb. It is water resistant. You can get caught in the rain, and you will be ok. It is not waterproof or submersible though. I ran my 18650 fully charged in the flashlight. It lasted approx.. 6 hours before it started to get dim and become finicky to operate. But, like I stated earlier since I had another fully charged battery, I was good to go. Overall, it’s a bright flashlight that comes in a well rounded kit. It’s not the best flashlight out there, obviously, but it does a solid job at a great price.

You too can possess the AllSpark. – Hami’s AllSpark Bluetooth Speaker.

Standard

I honestly immediately think of The Transformers, when it comes to this speaker. I mean really, the AllSpark. The hunt for the AllSpark is over. You can buy it on Amazon now, lol. This is a great little speaker. It’s perfect bedside, desk side, and the like. It has fun LED lights that move throughout it. The LED colors are red, green, and blue, interchanging. When you first turn the speaker on, it talks to you in a Transformer like, voice. It’s too much fun, I love it!!!!!!

It paired immediately with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phone. It comes up as Qone2 to pair, and no code is required to pair. The lights flash to the beat of the music as well. It sounds pretty good for a small 3W speaker. The music is pretty clear. You can play music through a 3.5m Aux cable, micro SD card, or Bluetooth. They include an Aux cable, but you need to supply your own micro SD card. This AllSpark is only 2.4” squared. There are buttons on the cube to move the music forward or back. It’s a short press to change the music, and a long press to change the volume. There is also a pause/play button, which is also the button to accept a call. Which it does quite well. It has Bluetooth 3.0 technology in it, so even if you have an older phone, it should work well with it. It is compatible with both IOS and Android as well. It’s pretty clear overall when playing. It has some areas where it may sound a little raspier. But, it is a lot clearer sounding than other 3W speakers I have tested. I love the added fun of the lights. Since they are just run through the lines of the AllSpark, they add enough fun, without being over bearing. You can get up to 10M away from the cube without dropping your signal, but that needs to be same room. It will end up dropping the signal if you go behind walls, or around the corner. You can even get around 5 hours of playtime on a full battery charge. If you play your music loud, you may get less battery time. I really like this speaker. Besides being so fun, it affords the ability to play your music and audio books with ease.
