I am new to using sandalwood essential oil. I did a lot of research on it. I am a huge essential oil user, as well as my family. I was very happy to learn about it. It smells so great too. It is definitely a welcomed addition to my home. Needless to say I am just thrilled that I was afforded the opportunity to review Aviano’s Indian Mysore Sandalwood Essential Oil at a reduced price, in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. This bottle is a 10ml bottle. Don’t worry about the size of the bottle. Essential oil recipes come in drop amounts, for example 6 drops. This bottle even comes with a dropper cap. This makes it so much easier to use. You also really have no waste with a dropper bottle. A little really goes a long way with essential oils.
Sandalwood has some wonderful uses. It can help the respiratory system in the form of an expectorant. I read that you can inhale the mist from a diffuser to help loosen up your chest. Or you can put some on a handkerchief and place it over your face.  It works as an aphrodisiac for men. So ladies, rub some behind your ears, lol. I know I am. It is also known to be great overall for your skin health. I make my own soaps, and lotions. I will be putting it in there for sure. It is also great to add to your carrier oil of choice, and rub it on your skin, or use as a massage oil. Essential oils are huge in antioxidants, and this is one of them. Our skin just soaks it up. My skin loved it when I put it in my coconut oil and rubbed it on my skin. It felt so soft, and smelled great. It did help open my respiratory system. I have asthma. So I was very pleased about this! It is also known to be calming and relaxing, so placing it in an essential oil diffuser would be perfect. I am loving this steam distilled, therapeutic grade product from Aviano.  It has been not only a great learning experience, but a beneficial add on to my family. I am very grateful for this experience.
