My husband loves, loves, loves RC vehicles. He especially loves quadcopters. We are not new to them, and we even have a tiny one like this. This one however, wow. It is a lot of fun. I am thrilled that I was afforded the opportunity to review Zuzo’s HT720 RC Quadcopter with HD Camera,4CH 2.4G 6-Axis Gyro With LED Lights, Wifi Drone with FPV Live Video Feed, in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. This product arrives as shown. In your package you will get 1 drone, 1 remote control, 1 instruction booklet, 1 micro SD card, 1 USB micro SD card adapter, 1 USB charging cable, 4 extra drone blades, 1 metal tool, and 1 “Selfie” phone mount adapter to attach to the remote. The remote requires 4 AA batteries to operate. They are not included. Also, you will need to download the QR scan reader to your phone to scan for the Ap needed to connect to the drone.
There are two QR scan barcodes. One is for IOS and the other Android. This copter does work with both systems. I downloaded the Android Ap, and it was free. Go ahead and hook up your battery to the cable and plug it into the charger while you do this. Then insert 4 AA batteries into the remote. No tool is necessary to access the battery compartment. The phone adapter just screws onto the top of the remote. When you are ready, you can hook up your phone with the copter. It does need to be on. To turn the quadcopter on, connect the two cables by the quad’s battery. Also in this area, right at the battery, you will see the micro SD slot. Go ahead and slide the micro SD card in here. LED lights will come on and be flashing. Connect your phone. And then connect the remote to the quad. You will here a beep, and see a green light come on the remote when powered on. Now, slowly move the throttle all the way up and all the way back down. The flashing LED lights should now be steady on. This means you have connected the two. GO ahead and slowly move the throttle back to the center, and it’s ready to fly.
This baby may be small, but it is a powerhouse. It has sooooo much more power than our other small drone. It’s been raining nonstop here for days, so I thought I could fly this in my home. We have faulted ceilings in the living room/kitchen combo room. Lol, I slammed the drone off of the ceiling, quite a few times. Let me tell you, this baby is durable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My son, who flies drones a lot, agrees with the power this one has. It is a 6 axis gyro, up and down, forward, backward, and left and right flip. The flight distance for the Wi-Fi and remote is approx. 131 – 262 ft. Things like your Wi-Fi signal, obstacles, and weather conditions can alter this obviously. The drone is very responsive. It take 720 HD video. I still watch the drone and not my phone, lol. I am not a pro at flying these, but it is so much fun. You do not need to connect your phone to capture video or fly the drone. It’s just for added fun, and a live feed. This drone can fly for about 10 minutes on a full charge. My husband always likes to have back up batteries for this reason. This is common among drones. I love how they include the micro SD card, as well as the USB adapter. It’s a very thorough set up. This copter is a blast with all it’s power. It is a smaller drone though, so careful outside. I wouldn’t fly it under windy conditions. And remember it has a ton of power. Flying it in an open area would be best until you’re used to how it moves and reacts. The instruction pamphlet is pretty good to follow. This one is definitely worth a try.
